Beautiful house with lots of amenities and very relaxing. Nice and pristine. Host is very responsive and flexible I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to feel very cozy!

This house was absolutely fantastic for my family. The pictures online are just as advertised. Beautiful jungle canopy view with a million birds. (Hint: download the Merlin Bird ID app) There are countless different kinds and also the amazing wildlife and ecology is second to none. The house is fantastic along with the pool and hot tub. Directly at the house, we saw countless macaws, a resident iguana who came around a couple of times, a Coati, a poison dart frog and a million other species right from the back deck. If you are coming to Costa Rica to enjoy Jaco but also want to spend your mornings/evenings in a quiet peaceful setting this place is perfect. The road up is a bit of an adventure but as long as you have four-wheel drive and reasonable clearance in the vehicle it is doable and a bit fun. Jeffrey is an outstanding communicator. He is friendly and I would absolutely rent this place again (or buy it if he ever wants to sell!)

The pictures do not do this place justice! The panoramic views are breathtaking with gorgeous sunrises to wake up to daily. This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in! Thanks to Jeffery for allowing us this amazing opportunity!

Jeffery’s Airbnb was amazing! Beautiful jungle views, lots of wildlife. The pool was amazing and rooms were very clean and spacious. Highly recommend!

Even nicer in person than the photos! The drive there is definitely rough, but 100% worth it for the incredible view. The place wasn’t spotless, but honestly we’re in Costa Rica and that’s pretty much what I expected — it still felt comfortable and authentic. Waking up to that scenery made every bump in the road worth it. Great experience overall and I’d absolutely stay again. Would recommend 1000%. FYI my mom fell inlove with this place. She wants to go back to Costa Rica just to stay in this villa the full 10 days

Beyond impressed with this beautiful home and could not have asked for a better location! While the roads getting there can definitely be a little rough, it's nothing you can't manage with the proper rental. Because of the rugged terrain and location at the top of the mountains, we saw so many birds and incredible wildlife right from the home. Every morning we had different birds in the tree right outside our bedroom which included Tucans, a flock of parakeets and even a pair of Macaws on our last day. We had a regular iguana that would chill at the pool with us and even had a poison dart frog on he patio. The location was perfect, with only a 20 -30 minute drive to Jaco for shopping and the restaurant right down the road was delicious. This home exceeded my expectations and as a travel advisor, I will be recommending it to all of my clients.

We are so sad to leave the peace and tranquility of Jeffreys home in the jungle. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, bird sightings, our morning iguana friends and trips into Jaco. The place is clean and very well stocked with necessities. We loved grilling out by the pool. A beautiful country. The views are WORTH staying here. Thank you, Jeffrey, for sharing your home with us for a week!

We had a wonderful time at Jeffrey's place. There was an amazing view!! I was impressed by the fully stocked kitchen and the cleanliness of the place. We had plenty of space for our two families. 7 people in all. We had many visitors to the house including Macaws, Toucans, Cane Toads, and even a poisonous dart frog. Lots of fun for the teenager in the pool. Very relaxing experience for all.

I can not say enough good things about Jeffrey’s paradise/ sanctuary high a top a mountain in the clouds. Thinking back on having read through comments left by others before our stay - I could not agree more with all the positive reviews… particularly “you will not regret your stay at Jeffrey’s”. Pictures do not do it justice… panoramic breathtaking views, abundant wildlife… we actually saw a toucan!!! Right from the porch. Pool is amazing, house is amazing, environment is amazing. All in you will not regret staying here. Jeffrey was more than accommodating after some rough travel. I have been staying at Airbnbs for about a decade… hands down a top stay. Positive grounding life long memories are made at Jeffrey’s place. One more time, you will not regret staying here. Get a solid car/ truck/ 4x4/ good breaks to make it up the mountain however.

I’ve been lucky to travel a lot of places, but this one ranks #1. Excellent location with all the amenities and everything you need. Plenty of privacy and totally safe. It’s wonderful to wake up to those views, the pool, the sounds... Truly wonderful. The host was always very responsive to our messages and needs. Obviously, being in that location, you’re further away from things, but there’s a supermarket and a restaurant nearby, and the road is fine. However, it is best to bring a 4x4 vehicle for the final stretch. I didn’t use it, but in the rainy season or if you’re not very experienced.

We had the most amazing stay at this home. We have traveled all over the world, and this by far was our favorite place. The home is everything you see in the pictures and more. It is immaculately kept, the beds are comfortable and you have all the amenities you need. Our favorite part was lounging by the pool and hot tub each morning and evening and watching the scarlet macaws and toucans fly over and hang out in nearby trees. It is private and peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. In addition, the local people are kind, friendly, and very helpful. We enjoyed the local restaurants, hiking to the waterfall, hanging out at Jaco beach, massages in the home, and Manuel Antonio park, seeing the monkeys and sloths. Jeffrey was extremely accommodating and helpful in making our trip wonderful. He made great recommendations and answered all of our questions promptly. We will absolutely be back and 100% recommend this amazing home. It is a very special place.

Awesome place

Large house, well equipped, with breathtaking views. The bumpy road is worth crossing to reach this spectacular oasis of peace. The house is very pleasant to stay in and matches the description. It's a real privilege to be able to stay there!!

This place is tucked away in the mountains with a view that will be memorable for a very long time. Come to this place and just check out from the normal life. Disconnect from all the hustle / bustle & communication from the real world. Sit back, watch and listen to nature right in front of you. There are pools which making just staying at the house relaxing and easy. The ride up is a bit bumpy but that is the only way to get to the house that exists in the mountains of costa rica. The wifi is surprisingly good for the house location. The host was helpful & set us up with some locals to find out where the food was and also the places to go. We had a local woman (owns the restaurant down the street) come and cook some of our meals. She was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend getting that info from the host. Add this place to your bucket list. Long day to get there but in the end it is worth it!
