Our stay at Hermosa Treehouse was VERY special. It is the kind of place, from the architecture, layout, furnishings, and more, that made my husband and I feel so at home. First time in Costa Rica for us, so we were uncertain about so much. Will we like the area? Yes, we loved it so much that we are returning next year! Will the house be too remote? NO! It has just the right kind of remoteness, we could walk to the beach in 3 minutes, and to cafes and restaurants within 10 minutes. The attention and care we received from the staff was fantastic: Yoselin was extremely responsive, sweet and professional. If we didn't need something, she would check in with us discretely every day, reminding us: I am here for you. Fernanda is a joy, she cleaned and washed our clothes, but what I loved the most about her is how much she loves her job. David is a gem, taking care of the grounds or pretty much anything you need. David is one of the kindest human beings I have ever met. We are grateful!

The tree house is MAGICAL! Two minute walk to the beach; perfect pool, great yoga deck and kitchen ! Cannot recommend enough

My family and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Steve’s treehouse this past week. Steve was very thorough with answering any of my questions. He was detailed and highly knowledgeable and made me confident when I committed to booking the treehouse. The treehouse is spectacular!!!! All the rooms were spacious and meticulously clean. The airiness of the entire home made you feel like you were one with nature. My favourite room was the canopy room. What an immersive experience being surrounded by the jungle and the sea. The pool area was my second favourite as the gardens are so lush and beautiful. The continuous visits from monkeys, butterflies and birds was a welcomed surprise! The skies at night – what a sight to see - with no light pollution, it feels like you can reach out and touch the stars. You cannot beat the location of the treehouse. You are a very short walk away from the BEST beach in ST. The Staff were incredible. I would return in an instant

First & foremost the home is a reflection of the exemplary host Steve. He is the definition of hospitable. About the area: Hermosa is less populated than ST & absolutely stunning. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The house offers a very unique combination of ocean views (as its 3 stories tall) while still being walking distance to the beach. This is rare & alone worth booking the house for. The treehouse: Lives up to its name, you’re living outside in the jungle. Monkeys 🐒 will come visit, butterflies🦋, raccoons 🦝 , lizards 🦎 , crabs 🦀 … all are out & about. The yoga deck is a powerful place to enjoy the jungle, ocean & treehouse views. The house is more than a place to stay, it an experience in & of itself. We stayed there for 5 nights & I simply did not want to leave. If you’re lucky enough to get a reservation here, you’ll have a cherished life memory. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hermosa Treehouse. This is truly a unique experience and feels like you are living in the jungle canopy. Their is an entire team there, led by Yoselin, who is on top of anything and everything you need, going so far as to anticipate before you ask. We've never had such white glove service at a rental. We had their cook, Gretel, cook us a typical Costa Rican meal and it was by far the best and most authentic Costa Rican food we have had over two trips to Costa Rica. I highly recommend you ask for this service at least once if you come.

Our stay at Hermosa Tree House was nothing short of amazing. The treehouse itself is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views from every level. The beach is just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient for daily visits. The house perfectly accommodated my family of four, providing ample space and comfort. Yoselin and her staff were exceptional, ensuring our stay was both enjoyable and relaxing. They were always available to assist with any needs we had. Yoselin also organized our tours, making the entire process effortless and allowing us to have the best time. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We can’t wait to return!

The Treehouse is nothing short of spectacular. We loved the 2 minute walk down to the most gorgeous beach with soft sands, warm water, and amazing smaller waves for the kids with the really good surfers in the background. Hermosa is a relatively quiet beach with fewer people which is just what we were looking for. The house itself is unique and stunning with multiple levels of living space and a lot of open air living. The staff keeping the house clean every day works incredibly hard and are just wonderful. Our excursions were perfect thanks to Yoselin (the concierge) who is lovely and super responsive to every question or issue that comes up. She's absolutely the best. Highly recommend Ario horseback riding tour through the jungle and beach, zip lining right to Montezuma falls, and farm tour for any animal lovers (our daughter was over the moon about meeting a 5 day old calf and holding baby chicks). Plus dinner with chef Grettel was delicious and healthy!

Steves place is exactly as described and we had an exciting vacation staying at the treehouse. Yoselin was extremely responsive and gave us great recommendations for activities and dining.

Beautiful gem in the heart of the jungle - steps from the beach. You truly feel like you’re sleeping in a treehouse - this is the perfect spot for those who want to enjoy nature. If you’re a hot sleeper, the open air in the master bedroom is tough given the temperature, and the downstairs bedrooms are a little small but perfectly comfortable. It was a great place to enjoy Santa Teresa’s most beautiful beach Hermosa and felt secluded from the hustle and bustle. I cannot say enough about this special spot!

This place is amazing and we will definitely be back! It was too hot at night to make use of the open air bedroom but the other 3 air conditioned rooms worked perfectly for our group. The staff was wonderful and very helpful!

We had a very nice stay at the Treehouse. The house looks exactly like in the listing. The walk to the beautiful Hermosa Beach was only 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend staying at Steve's place! 👍
