Wow, what all to say about Casa Piña! If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet, pristine casa in Puerto Viejo, this is it! This house has a home-like feel in the heart of the Costa Rican Caribbean and is only steps away from the ocean. The property landscape is luscious and tropical with native plants all throughout - a true oasis. There are numerous seating areas - both covered and uncovered - surrounding the private and refreshing pool. With only a short 15-20 minute walk along the beach to town, you are moments from the action in town including restaurants, shopping, and markets. This is a highly recommended stay in a beautiful, must see area of Costa Rica. Without a doubt, we would stay again at Casa Piña. We absolutely loved staying here! The grounds were absolutely beautiful. The little green dart frogs jumping around were so cute! The pool and wet bar area were definitely a hit with us. Very clean and spacious place. Private access to the beautiful black sand beach was amazing! Def would stay again!

We would highly recommend this place. Just far enough away from the town for peace and quiet and close enough to walk. Right next to the beach, lots of places to chill. Susana was super helpful and friendly. The place was immaculate and we would definitely go back there for a beach escape.

We had a wonderful few nights at Casa Piña. Susana, who manages the Airbnb, was extremely helpful, friendly, and generous. The place was kept very clean and we felt right at home. The outside spaces were gorgeous and we used the pool multiple times daily. We also had a recommended massage therapist come to the home and it was wonderful. It is a beautiful walk to town, and just far enough away to be peaceful. We had agouti, frogs, and beautiful birds visit not to mention Tico, the pup, who made our trip. Can not recommend Casa Piña enough, and we hope to return! It was perfect for us.

Beautiful home in paradise! We had a lovely vacation staying at Casa Pina. The home was spacious, comfortable, well equipped, clean and private. We really appreciated the two separate living spaces so each couple had privacy. The pool space and outdoor living area was fantastic! That’s where we spent most of our time. Easy access to the beach was nice as well. We were within walking distance of a couple good restaurants and a grocery store. Downtown was a 20+ minute walk or 6 minute bike ride. Side note: There is no washer/dryer onsite to use. There is a house cleaner that can do loads of laundry for a fee. We had an amazing time and would recommend to others!

Casa Pina was the perfect getaway. The location was unbelievable, access to the beach was extraordinary, the pool, the garden was well kept and picturesque, susana - the house manager made sure we were well guided, I can go on and on. Thank you for making our trip extra special. Please tell tico we miss him so much.

Where do I start. This place is phenomenal. Perfectly clean. Everything you need for your stay. Great bedrooms and bathrooms. Gorgeous property. Absolutely perfect beach to enjoy and swim in. Great pool. Our favorite spot was the outside living room type area which we spent most of our time when at the house. Susana was perfect in corresponding with us. Having Tico the house dog was awesome. The entire house is tastefully decorated in Pineapples. The proximity to Puerto Viejo and the other towns down the coast was perfect. We couldn't have had a better time. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

The host was very attentive, the location is amazing, and the home was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The pool was wonderful, and the dog and cat on the property were both friendly and sweet—they helped us miss our own pets a little less since this stay was at the tail end of our vacation. The only caution is around the pool area: the tile can be a bit slippery when wet, and there are some different elevations surrounding the pool to be mindful of.

Patricia and her property manager Susanna are fabulous. Patricia has such a beautiful home and she has made it even more cozy with all the sitting areas and all the gorgeous plants. All the amenities you could ever need made it feel like home. Having a pool was nice but being mere steps away from the beach and the ocean put this place over the top for us. Susanna was also so helpful in providing us with all the best places to visit and where to eat in addition to taxi services. We literally felt so at home!! Thank you Patricia and thank you Susanna!! We will be back! Such a beautiful place!

Casa Pina was a magical spot! Beautiful - better than the photos with an incredible garden. Being right on the lovely beach was wonderful and our family started each day with an ocean swim. Susana was a fantastic host and was friendly and responsive with lots of good recommendations. We were very sad to leave this special place.

This was my second time staying at Casa Pina, and it was just as great the second time around. The house and grounds are lovingly kept, and the beach is absolutely beautiful. There are new restaurants around the area, so it is now more walkeable. Susana is amazing to coordinate with and very responsive, and she provides a lot of local recommendations.

Susanna is a fantastic host! Great communication, helpful assistance with getting to and from the airport (our driver even ended up being our guide through Cahuita National Park!), checked in with us multiple times throughout our stay and was quick to respond with any questions we had. The property was immaculate and carefully curated to embrace the pineapple theme without being tacky or kitschy. I give Susanna and Casa Pina 5 stars and highly recommend🍍⭐️

This home is a gem in disguise. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful. We came here for a week. It was a long drive from the San Jose international airport but well worth it. Very sweet local town. The people in the town are really nice. The food is absolutely delicious and clean. Ice cream is delicious. We had a wonderful vacation, celebrating our sister’s 60th birthday. We loved having the pool to relax at during the heat of the day. Great kitchen to make breakfast everyday. Grocery store is not far at all. The dog and 2 cats are so cute and sweet. I 100% recommend this beautiful paradise home to everyone. 🩷 Susana was fantastic!! Thank you to the owner for sharing your home

Pictures do not do it justice! A beautifully landscaped slice of paradise. So much to do, and the pets were a special little extra as we missed ours back at home! Everything was perfect and we hope to come back one day.
