We had a great time at this house. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. However, unlike the photos, there were no sun loungers by the pool. Also, the bed was not as described since it was a double and it was not new as described but rather old and small. However, we loved being close to the beach, and the amenities are within walking distance. I recommend it!

Thank you for your comments. Sorry you were disappointed, but the listing clearly states that Casita #2 has a double bed, you must have been confused with Casita #1. I'm sorry that the staff didn't provide the sun lounges, if you had mentioned it, we would have been happy to take them out.

A very nice place, plenty of privacy, comfortable, very well equipped, we really liked it a lot. My only recommendation is to have insecticide, as the area is mountainous and there are a lot of mosquitoes, ants that get into the food, and winged ants. On the last night, the house was infested with beetle-like bugs that made us run. For those who want to go, it's a very good option; we would definitely come back.

Yes, it was an unfortunate situation of nature, where the ants start to wake up from their dormant state and it coincided with your stay. There is a delicate balance between eliminating bugs and contaminating the environment, a situation which affects us all seriously, and we try to cause as little damage as possible. Great private place in a quiet location, set back a bit from the main road. Exactly matched the description and photos. We were able to see a few monkeys in the garden behind the pool. Communication with Kathleen went smoothly. We had some ants in the room, but we were able to take care of it quickly.

Our stay was really very pleasant. The place is beautiful and is located in a beautiful area, ideal for those looking for tranquility and contact with nature. The beach is very close, which makes the experience even more special. The land where the house is located is charming, surrounded by trees and vegetation. During our stay we were able to see monkeys and a wide variety of birds, which gives the environment an additional value. It is a very quiet and cozy space, perfect for disconnecting and resting. In addition, Kathleen was extremely kind and was always attentive to everything. He is a very kind, attentive and helpful person, which made the experience even more positive. It is definitely a place I would recommend to those who want to enjoy nature, peace and proximity to the sea.

Charming place close to the beach, but far from the noisy center. It's the same as the photos, and it has all the amenities nearby. highly recommended.

Wonderful place close to the beach. There were monkeys and many birds in the courtyard. We even saw an armadillo! The accommodation is clean and well-equipped, a short walk from the sea, where there is a profusion of fish.

Wonderful casita! We had a great 2 week stay at Kathleen's place. We loved the house and the location was perfect - walkable to everything Carrillo has to offer - but also in a nice forested property. We saw tons of amazing wildlife including monkeys and scarlet macaws.
