Lovely location with many iguanas and we saw a pair of parrots! The pool was very nice also and the beach was only steps away. Angie and Larry who live upstairs were very friendly and helpful if you have any questions that need answered.

We’ve stayed in HP many times and this was our favorite. Angie and Larry welcomed us warmly into their immaculate home. They had provisions ready for us after our long journey and offered to drive us to town. And although they live above the suite, we didn’t even know they were there (except when Angie brought us brownies;) A solid, worry free rental.

Wonderful place! We would love to return and stay longer. We could walk to the pool, beach, and on site restaurant in less than 5 minutes. Beach was beautiful and clean. Very family friendly.

Angie and Larry’s home is fantastic! They were so accommodating, and made us feel very at home. The beds were very comfortable, the house was super clean, and the location was so close to the beach and pool! They had great tips for where to eat, and what to see! We will definitely stay here again!

The location was nice as we were a 10-minute walk to the beach, however, we were disappointed with the 4:30-7:00 AM dog barking next door each morning and the constant hammering and roof tile cutting noise from the construction going on both next door and across the street from 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM each day. In order to relax we had to leave the condo. It seems this complex has a lot of renovations going on right now. The owners were out of the country so perhaps weren't aware of the noise. The condo was fully equipped with everything we needed, was immaculately clean and comfortable, and had a lovely, safe neighborhood.

We only stayed in Playa Hermosa for 2 nights and then left to stay in some other parts of the country but I wish we stayed here the whole time in CR. The place really is even better than in the photos. The unit itself is beautiful and the neighborhood is beautiful, super safe, and full of friendly people. I was surprised at how much bigger than expected the pool was and it's got a great view of the beach (which was basically empty, in a good way), and the location was great with lots of things to do in the area. Finally, Angie & Larry are the best! They greeted us when we got there and made us feel super welcome, they brought us homemade muffins and granola bars in the morning, and we actually wound up hanging out a bit and having a couple drinks with them. I can't say enough about them and the overall experience there. Seriously, if you're shopping around for units in the area, do yourself a favor and look no further. Thanks guys!
