Great private location - lovely pool & tons of space. Close to a small beach town with good swimming. We saw lots of wildlife & it was very quiet. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely life-changing trip to Costa Rica with her two kids this spring. We fell in love with his house. It’s up in the hills with majestic views of nature. It was just what we needed a place to unwind and stare at the sky. Sara was incredibly helpful. She met us at the property entrance to ensure that we didn’t get lost, she even offered us a few groceries as we were coming in at a later time in the day. The whole experience was absolutely wonderful. The house was very comfortable with all the amenities that we needed getting up into the house from the main road was a little bit of work as the roads are still quite rugged, but honestly, it was worth the effort. Make sure that you have a 4 x 4 vehicle and you should be fine. You’re in Costa Rica after all we will definitely come back to this house and if you’re looking for a life-changing experience, this would be the one.

we brought our teens girls here and the place is spectacular! we loved the pool and scenery. we loved the patio where our family spent time there in the mornings. we highly recommend it here!

I stayed at this beautiful Airbnb with my husband and we had the best time. It is truly stunning - the views, the pool, the home. It is very private and quiet, the best place to relax. We enjoyed going for walks and runs on the roads and trails nearby as well. I can't wait to come back to this home someday, one of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed at!

We had such a wonderful stay. Thank you. The place is beautiful, the pool is clean and cool, the view is incredible, the vibe being in the jungle is just what we were looking for. The hosts/property managers were super responsive and kind, thoughtful too.. they told us about a local farmers market that was happening in town, a fun little bonus. We’d happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place with a gorgeous view 🌿

Wonderful hosts, always responsive and easy going. Allowed us to check in early, and met us to give a personalized tour of the property and amenities. Couldn’t compliment them enough. The property was immaculate, private, and the pool was amazing. Overall a fantastic experience. Would recommend an SUV as the roads around the property are rough in places. 4x4 not strictly necessary in the dry season.

What a truly majestic place! The sunsets reflecting off the giant pool were spectacular. We loved swimming during the day and stargazing at night. The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with lovely outdoor seating. Sandra and Alex gave us a very warm welcome, led us to the house, and made us feel special since we were celebrating our engagement. After that, it was just Paul the iguana and the adorable coatis for company in this private paradise. We visited San Juanillo, Nosara, and Guiones by car but enjoyed most of our time at the house. Highly recommend, it's even better than the photos!

The house is beautiful and very tastefully furnished. It is perfectly located somewhat elevated in the forest with a dream view of the sea and 10 min from San Juanillo and thus shops, restaurants and the beach. The owners are very friendly and Sandra and Alex, who look after the house and live nearby, are extremely nice and helpful and do their job excellently. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and there is a state-of-the-art washing machine and dryer available. Everything was sparkling clean. The view is fantastic and the garden very well maintained and the terraces equipped with beautiful and comfortable furniture. In the morning you are gently awakened by the sounds of the howler monkeys and many different birds. We have been to many houses around the world and also in Costa Rica, this one is one of our 2 favorites. Thank you Sarah, Sandra and Alex, we hope to see you again! Nadja and Ben with Mila & Noa

Loved our stay! The house, pool, view are great! The places are quiet, intimate, clean. Howler monkeys came to visit us twice in one week, in the trees above the house. The village of San Juanillo nearby (about 10 minutes by car) is a fishing village with a beautiful beach. 30 minutes drive away there is the town of Nosara with supermarkets, we did the Miss Sky Canopy tour zip line. That was great! Thanks for everything!

Very secluded and quiet place with a very large swimming pool and amazing views! A real immersion in the Costa Rican forest. The house is well equipped and as shown in the photos. Lots of Coati came very close and Paul the iguana spent his days by the pool. Sarah was a much-loved host. We liked that it was on a secure Finca with an access code to enter the site.

Wonderful stay at Casa Majestica. Property sits in a secluded spot just as described and the pictures don't do it justice. Sandra and Alex went out of their way to help us get settled in and were extremely responsive for the little queries and extra recommendations. Will be back if lucky enough to return to this part of the world. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Our stay at this home was amazing. It is such a gorgeous setting, peaceful and private, nestled in the jungle with a view of the Pacific. The infinity pool is pristine and the nighttime sky is filled with stars. We enjoyed the remoteness of the location and took some day trips to Nosara for surfing lessons and near Tamarindo for zip-lining. The local town has a couple of great restaurants near the beach. The very friendly hosts were exceptionally helpful. They reached out ahead of time with ideas for where to pick up groceries on the way from Liberia airport. Arriving after dark, the hosts met us at the gate to guide us to the home. With many twists and turns, that was greatly appreciated. They showed us the property and made us feel very welcome and at home. They were responsive throughout the week whenever we had a question and they reached out proactively to give ideas for nice restaurants offering special Christmas Eve dinners. We would love to visit again some day!

Our stay at this gorgeous and secluded place was the highlight of our Costa Rica vacation. Steven was so helpful and gave us great recommendations. Surrounded by nature and wildlife while enjoying an amazing pool with ocean and jungle views, we could not have asked for more.
