Beautiful villa in a very peaceful residential area. Great for a family with kids. It has everything you need. Daily housekeeping and pool maintenance are very much appreciated on vacation to really enjoy the area and not have to worry about household chores. Isabella was extremely responsive and considerate during our stay.

Family of 4. Fantastic house and an extremely good host. We saw both monkeys and sloths in the trees outside the house. Recommended for anyone traveling with or without kids.

The place was one of the best Airbnbs we've ever had. Water dispenser, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent and daily cleaning of the house (excluding the kitchen) were part of the inclusive service. With Isabella on site, you have a great contact person for everything. She always responded immediately and had a lot of recommendations for us. Once the power went out, and we kept getting updates from her about the situation. Besides, it was a great adventure for the kids. The house is spacious and, in addition to the great pool, also has a few games for children. The location is great and very quiet (although a car is recommended). Close to all the stands as well as the town and the parks in the region. We went to Soda Mirna for dinner, which is highly recommended. The villa was located together with a few other accommodations on the edge of the residential area. It was very private, and there was always a contact person on site. In the morning, we always had visits from howler monkeys. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

The house is exactly as pictured. Close enough to walk to the beach and a few spots to grab food and essentials. Perfect location if you don’t want to be in the middle of hectic downtown Puerto Viejo and only a quick ride to get to town and all other local beaches. The host was helpful and quick with responses. We heard howler mo keys every day and many birds. Would stay again!

We spent a weekend at this house with a group of friends; we all loved the house. It is very comfortable, the design is very nice, and the spaces are used to the fullest. The patio is spacious and very nice. Also, the entire house has access to the pool, which makes it very functional. I would definitely come back.

Beautiful, peaceful stay surrounded by nature! This house is truly stunning- everything is thoughtfully designed, very clean, and well maintained. It feels calm and quiet, and one of the highlights was hearing monkeys and all the jungle/nature sounds throughout the day. It’s a really special setting if you’re looking to relax, the pool is amazing. A couple of notes just so future guests know what to expect. It’s not the most private villa, there’s a lack of curtains in the kitchen and living room areas, and there is daily mandatory cleaning (which doesn’t include dishes, which I found a bit interesting). There are also daily maintenance and yard staff around. The property is clearly very well taken care of, but if you’re specifically looking for total privacy, it’s something to keep in mind. They also require a $250 deposit on arrival via credit card and a more formal check-out process. Not a negative at all, just different from some villas where everything is more private.

The house was gorgeous and spacious, the location is great, and everything is really well taken care of. The host was responsive and the cleaners were quick and thorough, which we appreciated. That said, if you’re expecting total privacy, this probably isn’t the spot. There are regular cleanings (daily & mandatory, as we were told at checkin), staff coming through the property, and cameras outside, so it doesn’t feel super secluded. But these are not drawbacks at all, just something to know depending on what you're looking for. We brought our 1 year old and the loft was gated off so he couldn't access (much appreciated) and they provided a crib which was also really nice so we didn't have to bring one. Overall, it’s a great stay depending on what you’re looking for—just more of a serviced experience than a private, tucked-away getaway.

Excellent stay. The place is exactly as described: quiet, conveniently located, and with everything you need to relax. Communication with the hosts was smooth and attentive at all times.

The house are beautiful. It was very clean; cleaning was done every day. The layout of the rooms made it very private. The hostess was very friendly and responded super quickly. The area is beautiful too. We enjoyed our stay so much and can only recommend the house and the area. Truly wonderful.

We had a great stay at the house for spring break. Top notch place with all the amenities you could ask for. Perfect for a family with kids and close to a secluded beach with a good mix of calm water and waves as well as access to a hotel bar and restaurant on the beach. Good food options close by and very private and quiet. A fantastic time all around.

Finding the house in the dark late at night (our flight was delayed) proved to be a bit difficult, but Isabella was kind enough to meet us at a nearby location and allow us to follow her to the house. Which was just beautiful! We woke up to Howler monkeys, & beautiful birds chirping. The pool was warm and inviting, the house was spacious, clean, quiet, and safe! It was an extremely enjoyable experience!

The villa is more than perfect than perfect. I didn’t know at the start that there would be daily cleaning, that the maintenance staff could come several times a day, and that they always went through the courtyard, so there was a lack of privacy, a bit like in a hotel. Honestly, it’s still an amazing place; waking up to the birds and howler monkeys was truly magical. A big favorite ♥️ I would definitely go back there.

I recently stayed in Puerto Viejo with my husband and two friends. The property was beautiful and spacious. We each took one side of the rental which gave everyone privacy and the ability to spread out. The outdoor area is gorgeous with a pool and wildlife outside your window. Gabriel was our host, and he was so friendly, responsive, and helpful. We highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful property close to the beach and village, in a jungle like environment with monkeys, sloths and other exotic animals very visible from the backyard.
