This place is fabulous, the jungle and ocean views in the background are stunning. The house itself is very nice with a large varangue that goes all around the house and allows you to enjoy the outdoor environment and the beautiful pool. Many birds and animals are visible around the house. Bud and Rachel are charming people, discreet but available if you want to talk to them. We will definitely come back here if we have the opportunity.

The Perezoso house is very nice. It has plenty of room, and the view is beautiful. The pool is very comfortable and clean, but you need to be watchful of your kids because it has a deep side. We certainly recommend the place to anyone wanting to escape from the city and have a relaxed vacation close to beautiful beaches and waterfalls.

stunning property full of beautiful plants and wildlife. we loved all the patios and landscapes in particular. we were able to walk to a few amazing restaurants. the property in very peaceful and we throughly enjoyed our stay and would book again if available.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bud and Rachel and their beautiful home. The house is even better in real life; in an incredible setting surrounded by amazing wildlife. It is comfortable and has everything you’ll need. Rachel and Bud are fantastic hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Communication was excellent and they even gave us some help after we had left!

My family and I were fortunate to book with Rachel and Bud at Casa Perezoso. Firstly, the pictures do not do this lovely location justice: perched on a mountain with views of the ocean, jungle, and sky, this home truly will have you feeling on top of the world. With plenty of space to spread out, my 7-person family made the most of this home by enjoying meals on the large wraparound patio, jumping in the pool throughout the day, and lounging with a book on the patio while the storms rolled in. Rachel and Bud were onsite during our stay and were responsive and helpful. We utilized What'sApp to stay in contact-- I highly recommend this. The Casa gives you a launching point for many of the areas top to-dos-- ziplining, mangrove boat tours, beaches, waterfalls, animal sanctuaries-- but we found ourselves enjoying our time at Casa Perezoso just as much. I love to cook and found the kitchen sufficient for our daily needs. We are so grateful for our family time at this slice of heaven!

Just wonderful! We had a perfect time and are very grateful that we could stay in the lovely paradise of Bud and Rachel. Bud was super nice and extremely helpful with recommendations in the area. There are great restaurants and beaches in the area. And the house is amazing! The pictures don't live up to the cozy and private atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Do you want a retreat from your daily life? With stunning views, a pool, nice big kitchen and grill outside with all you need to cook if you choose but close to amazing food at local restaurants. A place to enjoy nature right there. Close to beaches and plenty of outdoor activities. You got to go here. Rachel and Bud’s place is wonderful. They are welcoming and communicative. Stay a bit, slow down, enjoy. Cuz this is the place to do it.

What a find! This has to be one of the most wonderful places we’ve stayed. It was spacious and clean and is actually the owners own home which they rent out just a few times a year - we fell lucky to want it at the right time. It was well equipped for our needs and Bud and Rachel were on hand if we needed anything. Both were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The grounds around the property were beautifully maintained and we saw hummingbirds, iguanas, agoutis, macaws and even an opossum when we arrived back after a day trip in the dark. The pool was a welcome treat either first thing in the morning or after our days out to Damas Island, Corcovado and the various beaches in the area. Thanks Bud and Rachel for being the perfect hosts, we had a fabulous time.
