A beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped house! We felt right at home! They were all very friendly and helpful. My family really enjoyed our stay at this place, and even our puppy had an amazing time! Everything was perfect! 1000% recommended.

The house was super neat and clean. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with hand towels, toilet paper, and plenty of hand soap. The kitchen and appliances are clean. The garden is well maintained. I liked that there were lamps in case the power went out, and ice and cookies as a welcome gesture. The barbecue was super clean and ready to use. Definitely a lovely place that I would visit again.

My family and I absolutely loved staying here! We spent only 1 night but wished we stayed longer. The host was very kind and helpful and gave us a run down on the home when we arrived. The home was very beautiful and private. The town nearby, Ataco, has so many shops, coffee, and good food. In walkable distance. Would stay here again.

Our stay was more than excellent, the place is beautiful, quite spacious, well-kept green areas, the same as what they show in the photographs, well equipped and the cleanliness of the place is excellent, a place to disconnect, relax and enjoy with family and pets, we brought our 3 dogs, it is only 5 blocks from the park, you feel incredible privacy throughout the vegetation that surrounds the estate, Yolanda and Claudia were very friendly and were always attentive, we would definitely come back.

We were greeted by Claudia upon arrival; she gave us a tour of the house and made sure that we had everything we needed during the entire stay. The house has everything you need: dishes, tablecloths, glasses, TV, internet, etc. The place is just a few blocks from the village and is quiet and peaceful at night. Everything was extremely clean and tidy, just like in the photos! I have no doubt that we will return in the future. We loved it.

I can’t wait to return to this magnificent house and its lovely surrounding garden and mini forest. So peaceful and restful to get in touch with nature. Claudia, one of the owners was a joy to speak to about the property and the town. We had a terrific stay!

My family and I had a good time, the host and the staff were very friendly. We liked the forest and the check-in and check-out times, they are the best I have found. We enjoyed it very much.

Villa Mercedes, the hosts, and caretakers are all wonderful! Our family enjoyed the well-equipped and cozy house, with enough bedrooms & shared bathrooms for everyone, a well-stocked kitchen, beautiful gardens & outdoor seating. The kids enjoyed playing badminton & a number of available board games. The hosts & caretakers were very responsive & attentive, and the property had everything we needed. This is our second stay here, and we will definitely return :)

Our stay in Yolanda's accommodation was very good, from the speed of attention, the cleanliness of the house, to the kindness and agility of the people who attended us already while in the house. It has a location close to downtown Ataco but at the same time offers the feeling of being among nature. It's a nice house, spacious and tidy. I definitely recommend staying in it and I would definitely do it again.

We absolutely loved our stay. Everything from the warm, welcoming host, to the beautiful surrounding and a comfortable home. Our needs were met and we all left talking about how much we want to come back!

Highly recommend this villa! Staff was super friendly, very helpful and all together very accommodating and pleasant. Claudia was especially helpful and went above and beyond when a couple of personal items we forgotten, to get the back to us.

The house was beautiful and exactly as shown in the photos, maybe even better. It was quiet, clean and very peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay. It's within walking distance of the park, restaurants, local shops and activities. Geronimo was absolutely wonderful during our stay, always attentive, he opened and closed the gate and even took us for a walk around the estate. The hostess was extremely friendly and welcomed us when we arrived. She gave us a tour of every part of the house, something we've never experienced before at an Airbnb check-in. We were very impressed. The only thing we noticed was that on some occasions we saw cockroaches in the bathrooms. However, we understand that a house on a farm in El Salvador may have some cockroaches; it's somewhat inevitable here. This would not prevent us from returning to the house, and we highly recommend it.

Yolanda's house is truely the perfect cabin. We found it hard to believe how it could feel so quiet and peaceful despite being on the outer part of Ataco. The host's sister personally welcomed us to the property and showed us around. She's a warm, lovely person and made us feel right at home. We loved the vibe of the house. It was spacious yet cozy, and their garden really resembles the feel of being in the middle of the forest. We hope to come again for a longer stay.

A cozy place, very nice in the middle of nature to enjoy as a family

This place was amazing. You felt as being in your own home. Lots of restaurants with delicious foods. Walking distance to the center of town. The help at the place are very nice. Yolanda’s cousins Claudia was very sweet and helpful with the check in. Yolanda kept in touch with me during my stay. Hopping to return for another stay.

Very spacious, comfortable, with very well preserved antique decor... the basketball board was very much enjoyed by the boys, pleasant weather and you feel in total contact with nature... to repeat!!! Very understanding Yolanda was her initiative to ask for a change of date for our reservation because the weather was not right.

Very satisfied with Quinta Villa Mercedes, the place is very nice to spend a weekend with family or friends. All the clean and tidy areas, Claudia the person who welcomed us very friendly, explaining everything and very accessible in case we wanted to go out at night. Also, the gentleman who opens the door very polite and friendly.

The location is wonderful -- a block or two outside town, surrounded by green space. You're far enough from town to avoid a lot of the city noise but close enough to easily walk to the city center in 10 minutes or less. The home is spacious, with sizeable bedrooms and comfortable beds. Check in was easy, with onsite personnel there to greet us and explain everything. Be aware of barking dogs, however. This is a fact of life in much of the developing world, but we had one night where a neighbor's dog barked completely through the night. It's just the way it is, but something to be aware of. The second night was perfectly quiet, so you know it's hit or miss. No nearby roosters, which is a plus over many other regional Airbnbs I've stayed in.

We live a very nice weekend. The people who serve the ranch are incredibly kind, they were always attentive to any need!. A super well equipped spectacular house, we didn't need anything. Everything is very tidy and clean. Everything works perfectly. We were walking in the night to the park and its surroundings. The asado in the forest was very nice. We all want to come back soon. Thank you so much for all your kindness !

Excellent place

The house is an a gem with beautiful surroundings. It is spacious, comfortable, well organized and maintained. The lovely gardens offer peace, tranquility and lots of privacy. The house is decorated with beautiful artifacts, art and furniture that add to the character of the house and honours the local culture. It's location is fantastic, walkable to town, but located in a nice quiet area. The house also offered many games, basketball court and reading material that was enjoyed by our family. The wonderful staff, was helpful, kind and very respectful. The home is well equipped with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Yolanda thank you for being a wonderful host, and for being so attentive. We are looking to return in the future. We loved the place and wish we could have stayed longer.

Villa Mercedes is a wonderful accommodation, without thinking twice we will return to stay there again with all my family, it has very cozy and unique spaces.

This is a GORGEOUS home that was truly such a pleasure to stay at. The pictures definitely match, but in real life the beauty of this home is unmatched. Such a homey feel, beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything you need including French press! The gardens are spectacular, the porch is perfection. Waking up to watch the sunrise from behind the mountains with local coffee and quesadilla was something I will truly never forget. It was so peaceful, beautiful, breathtaking. This is a home you truly won’t want to leave, and won’t have to if you come prepared with food as they have a fully functioning kitchen with gas range, pots, pans, impecable fridge etc. But, if you’re like me and don’t want to cook you are walking distance from the centro and can eat at any one of the various restaurants and pupuserias. As mentioned Geronimo and staff are helpful and super sweet. I can go on and on but ran out of characters. I truly hope I can come back!

Very pleasant stay, super peaceful, there’s a forest in the backyard that’s just so beautiful and relaxing. It’s comfortable and spacious. Would recommend!

Charming tasteful, wonderfully curated house in Ataco. Deceptively close to the heart of the town in the park and the famous local pizza restaurant, Piccolo Giardino. No air conditioning or fans, but hardly missed due to the great airflow and cool climate provided by the surrounding garden entries. This house has a real authentic older charm. A lot of older, original details which were perfect for us. If your looking for something brand spanking new this might not be for you but it’s truly a wonderful and special home. The kitchen is very well stocked with a new fridge, new oven, toaster oven, French press and drip coffee maker and lots of utensils. Head over to bourbon coffee to pick up a bag and enjoy your morning coffee on the wrap around porch listening to the birds singing at this home. The porch has original vintage and antique furniture. Our stay was shared with another family and we never felt like we were on top of each other with so much space to spread out.

This jewel of Villa is from another planet. The place is paradise on earth. The care of all the staff and especially Claudia and Yolanda is unique. Every penny from this villa's reservation is well spent. My family and I were always welcomed and treated with a lot of respect. This is and will still be my favorite place to vacation in El Salvador.

Yolanda welcomed us at home, we were able to spend a good family time in the common spaces. They have the house very preserved as the hacienda helmet that was one day, it has a spacious and beautiful garden, a basketball court and a nice fire pit to share a mountain night as a family. The kitchen is very well equipped. Of course I would go back to this Airbnb. Yolanda and Claudia's quality of care is unbeatable, they were always attentive to questions and always responded quickly.

House and the property are beautiful. Claudia was such a great host and explained everything thoroughly. The grounds are really nice, however they were not as big as I expected and you cannot take a hike or stroll into it. It is a nice are to sit and admire though. The details in the house were so nice and admirable and Claudio and Geronimo were nice enough to leave the fireplace ready for us and essentials in the kitchen that were not expected. I would recommend this place to anyone and want to come back the next time I’m in Ataco.

This house is a little gem in Ataco with beautiful fragrant gardens and the warmest of hosts. I can’t recommend enough. The host graciously gave me and my family a tour of their coffee plantation, an added bonus. The home is centric to the small town of Ataco, and perfect for discovering “La Routa de las Flores.”

Very good location of the property. The house is well equipped with everything you need to have a good stay. The house has a fireplace and is always available to use with everything you need to light it. The kitchen is fully equipped, as are the bedrooms. The property has a garden, which looks more like a small forest and it's very nice to walk around there. Good communication with the staff who are waiting at the entrance gate.

Cozy! We had a spectacular weekend! Attention has been paid to every last detail. Claudia, a spectacular person.

Excellent host. Very easy access to the cabin, very well equipped, nice decoration and excellent cleanliness. The gentleman who greets you and opens the gate to you very friendly and the communication was excellent and the communication was excellent. The cabin has a fireplace that can be used and was a nice experience with the kids. The property has a beautiful vegetation space and butterflies, hummingbirds and other types of birds are visible. Recommended, we will certainly come back again.
