Diego Mendoza Alfaro

My husband and I enjoyed our stay, Diego was vey kind to let us have an early check in due to an unpleasant living condition at a previous booking so was grateful for that. It’s quiet, clean, safe, and comfortable, had all the amenities needed, The apartment was as described. Diego always responded promptly, was very kind and pleasant. Great location, everything nearby, great restaurants, food stores, shopping, beach etc... Would definitely stay if back in the area again.

The place is as described in the photos. It is located in a safe, gated housing estate, and you can enter the pool directly from the apartment. The rooms are quite small but sufficient for the four of us. Close to downtown Jaco. Pleasant

Diego was nothing short of amazing. Very responsive. Rental was spotless. VERY close to the beach across from ocean hotel and the food is phenomenal (get the garlic shrimp pasta AMAZING). Overall 10 thank you again Diego

Had a wonderful stay, the place was comfortable to be in, very nice rooms, kitchen setup for cooking, location was easy to get to, pool was perfect. Great stay if you have a car!

Diego’s place was beautiful and exactly as pictured. The space was very clean, well decorated, beds & pillows were comfortable, the AC was amazing and the pool was just outside the front door. There was also a washer/dryer and they included the detergent which was a nice touch. Diego was super responsive and friendly. We initially had an issue with not having hot water but we reached out and we figured out how to use it properly. As 3 girls traveling, we felt very safe there with the 24 hour security (guards were so nice). After a busy & adventure filled week in La Fortuna, it was nice oasis to wind down and relax in. It’s close to the beach (3 min drive or 12 min walk). There’s a great little restaurant across the street (Soda Garabrito), as well as a mini mart and ice cream shop (Pops). On the main street on the beach there are tons of food/bar options and a cute shopping area at Jacó Walk. We had a great dinner at Lemon Zest (get the guacamole with chicharrones)! Awesome stay!

We had a few cancellations and delayed flights so we were unable to stay as planned for the night.. Luckily we ended up arriving early in the the next morning. Diego allowed us to get into the Airbnb to use the showers and extended our check out for an additional hour before we moved to the next place. The Airbnb was exactly as pictured. Very clean and close to town. The pool was also great! Wonderful Airbnb and excellent hosts.

Great location. Safe gated community. Gorgeous pool in front and very clean

The grounds were very well kept. The beds were very comfortable. Access to the markets and restaurants was nice. The wifi worked well. Laundry soap would have been nice. The guards at the gate were very friendly and helpful.

We went with our daughter who is 10 years old over New Year’s. The location was great to walk to restaurants and to the beach. Very short walk for a 10-year-old. The 24 hour security guards were amazing always accommodating. The town itself was a little busier than we anticipated. The last place we visited in Costa Rica was Tamarindo and it’s a much slower pace. If we were to return to Jako, we would definitely book with Diego again.

My family and I felt right at home. Pool was a plus and everyone was friendly. Security was excellent and kind. Area around was safe and gave you a true sense of Costa Rican culture. We felt we made a great decision on picking this Airbnb and highly recommend.
