We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property is beautiful, well maintained, and even better than we expected. The location was perfect, just a few minutes from downtown Atenas, with several excellent restaurants and everything we needed nearby. We had an amazing time relaxing and enjoying the space. The host was fantastic, responsive, welcoming, and made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. This was truly one of those places that makes you wish you could stay longer. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for helping create such a memorable weekend!

if you are debating on renting this place don't! this place was beyond expectations. beautiful! clean! fresh bananas and mangos on the property....spacious and walking distance or its super easy to get an uber and navigate around to stores and restaurants. What a view every morning! Diana greeted us there and showed us around. during the week she offered recommendations for places to eat and visit. She also recommended a chef for the night (highly recommend) I will be coming back! 🥰

Our stay in Atenas was absolutely spectacular. The villa offers breathtaking mountain views and the perfect layout for relaxation, both indoors and by the pool. Our host, Diana, was incredible, so accommodating and knowledgeable. She had an answer for every question and provided excellent local recommendations that truly enhanced our trip. If you are planning a visit to Atenas, do yourself a favor and stay here!

Our multigenerational family travelling from Canada had a great time at Villa Tranquila. We felt safe and secure, and the co-host Diana met us upon arrival to show us around. The decor and house were beautiful and tastefully planned, both indoors and out. We managed to walk to the grocery store, several dinner spots, and the pizza place. The landscape was breathtaking with a mountain view. The amenities were appreciated by all, including the laundry and bathrooms equipped with lovely local soaps. We took advantage of many of the recommended local activities and restaurants suggested by the host. No complaints - we would visit again for a luxurious escape in the hills of Atena. Despite the lack of air conditioning, we managed to stay cool with the outdoor showers and rooms equipped with several floor and ceiling fans. We recommend this location whole heartedly. Thank you!

A very nice stay to unwind after the long flight. our flight was delayed and therefore arrived late in the evening. But we could just reach the Host well and was a good communication. This was very nice! The accommodation was very neat and clean. We had a very nice stay there. We were with a group of children and adults, but because it was so big and had so many corners to sit, everyone had plenty of space. We would come back again.

The house is very quiet and beautiful. They have maintained house very well , pool and landscaping were very clean . There were no termites and bugs issue . Inside the house was very clean . Huge bedroom and open bathroom, Amazing location and quite surrounding. We loved the place . Host was very responsive and friendly.

Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay at Yvonne’s beautiful home! The house looked exactly as the photos and all the amenities we could think of. We appreciated the restaurant and chef recommendations! Our family is sure of to never forget this amazing trip to Costa Rica!

Our stay at Villa Tranquila was absolutely wonderful! The place was just as described—actually, even more beautiful in person. We were greeted in person upon arrival by Diana and given a full tour of the house, which made settling in so easy and comfortable. The home was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed (and more!). It had plenty of space for our family of five to relax, a beautiful bathroom in every bedroom (plus one), and the outdoor area was a highlight. The pool was clean, inviting, and made for a perfect gathering space throughout our stay. Yvonne and Diana were incredibly responsive and helpful—though everything went so smoothly, we didn’t encounter a single issue. The location was also ideal: close to great restaurants, easy access to the highway, and a great home base for exploring the area. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-appointed, and welcoming place.

The home is absolutely incredible! Yvonne and Diana were both so helpful and welcoming. The entire town is welcoming of visitors and easy to get around! We were beyond happy with our stay!
