There really should be a 6-star option on Airbnb for places that are not just an accommodation but an entire experience. I had just one night on the boat but it was everything you could dream of. Ellison & Mack took excellent care of us from the first to last minute on the vessel. The food was excellent and the portions were exceptionally generous! Whether snorkeling or enjoying my book on deck it was bliss the entire time. As a solo traveler I appreciated Mack’s prompt and thorough communication. The other guests on the boat were absolutely lovely and we got on as if we had been friends forever. Sensational experience and I can’t wait to return!

We could not of asked for a better place to stay for our vacation in San Blas. Food was some of the best we’ve ever had, the weather was perfect, and the San Blas Islands are an incredible place. Ellison and Mac showed us around some of the nicest snorkeling spots and some great islands. Cannot recommend booking with Mac more, we will definitely be letting all our friends and family know about this stay.

We had a wonderful time aboard Mackenzie’ boat. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Panama! He went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Would highly recommend the meal package. The food was delicious!

Where do I start?!? Mack and Ellison were great hosts! Ellison made sure everyone’s needs were met (I wish I spoke more Spanish to be able to have conversations with him!). Food was phenomenal and well balanced with fruit/veggies/carbs and fresh protein from the sea caught daily by Ellison. The area looks exactly like you see online. So many islands…so little time. Beds were comfortable and each room was equipped with rechargeable fans for cooling. If it started raining during the night, Ellison would run and shut the hatch above each room. He loaded/unloaded the dingy with all of our snorkeling gear each outing. When we ended up with poor snorkeling (we explored the wrong side of the island), Mack sailed us to a better spot in the afternoon to make up for it. He and his family live on their own boat anchored next to ours. We stayed for 5 nights while other couples came and went, which gave us the opportunity to meet some really nice people. HIGHLY recommend and I’m hoping to return!

We are incredibly happy that we were able to spend two nights at the Constellation. We were in Panama for our honeymoon, and staying at Mackenzie's was the best way to end it that we could have wished for. Mackenzie gave us so many unforgettable moments, and you can tell that he is very familiar with the Guna Yala area and culture. The food you get on board the ship, which Melissa cooks, is very, very tasty. We got the best octopus of our lives. My husband's birthday was on one of the evenings, and he even got a special birthday cake. Everyone on board is super friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay unique. Thank you for this great experience!

I came with my two young kids and husband for four nights in February. We unfortunately struck upon some severe weather and were unable to sail as much as initially anticipated. Despite this, there was still lots to do on nearby islands. When we did get sailing we got the sense that Captain Mack was a proficient sailor and knowledgable about the local area. Makut, our local host, was attentive and helpful. Melissa prepared delicious meals and was responsive to our kids’ preferences. Overall, a unique way to take in a beautiful spot.

To say our stay on Mackenzie's boat was like a dream feels like a gross understatement. Two friends and I spent two nights in the gorgeous San Blas Islands, and they pretty much had to pull us kicking and screaming when it was time to leave. This place is paradise. We got to go for a big sail, which felt like such a treat. The food was plentiful and delicious. We snorkeled, visited white sandy beaches, sat at the bow while rolling down waves, read books and chatted, spotted dolphins, and questioned our entire existence, while Mac and Macu made our stay so memorable and pleasant. Thank you, Mac and Macu, this was the highlight of our trip! Sophie, Sophie & Julie

Our stay on Mackenzie's boat was amazing. In addition to the incredible views and crystal clear water of the San Blas archipelago, all his staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. We had wonderful meals made by Melissa. All the fish and seafood were very fresh and delicious. We made a request to have vegetarian meals for my girlfriend and they offered us a multitude of options. The local guide who works on the boat, Makuto, was also extremely kind, offered to help whenever possible and gave us several tips on what to do on site. We had a lot of fun and recommend it to anyone looking for a different trip.

An incredibly magical stay in San Blas with Mackenzie and his family. My husband and I and our 2 year old stayed 3 nights on Mackenzie’s beautiful boat and loved every second of it! We went to a new island everyday, and even got a chance to go to the local Guna village which was very special. Melissa’s cooking was so good! Fresh fish and lagostina, and fresh ingredients. My son had a wonderful time and we loved spending time with Mackenzie’s kids too. This was definitely a memorable trip for us and we will definitely come back again soon. For anyone thinking of a unique and spectacular trip with family or solo - book with Mackenzie and his lovely family!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location! We had the best time staying on Mack’s boat. Mack and crew were super attentive, very laid back, knowledgeable, and fun!!! We were able to visit numerous islands, the boat was very clean and comfortable, and all the food (3 meals per day) was delicious. I would definitely recommend Mack’s boat to others. Great experience.

What an incredible experience, from being on idyllic desert islands with power white sand and great snorkeling, to amazing meals cooked by Melissa and just the overall peace of being on a sailing boat. Mackenzie was super professional, responsive and friendly.

We had a wonderful experience with captain McKenzie . His hospitality is truly top-notch—you can tell he has a strong background in tourism, with service easily comparable to a luxury hotel. Melissa’s food was outstanding. Both taste and presentation were above all expectations—beautiful, healthy, and thoughtfully prepared. Every meal felt special. Mako, our steward and a Guna Indian, was exceptional. He anticipated our every need. Even though he doesn’t speak English and we don’t speak Spanish or Guna, communication was easy and seamless thanks to his attentiveness and warmth. What impressed us most was the deep respect McKenzie and his family show toward the local community and environment. They genuinely care about protecting the Guna Yala lands, reefs, and islands, and they actively support local communities. The boat itself is an older sailboat, keep expectations low. our kids were initially surprised but still loved it at the end. Simple boat, five-star service. Highly recommend.

Beautiful area in San blas - it rained for 6 days so couldn’t see the colors of water as vividly as I would have liked ,but it was still very lovely 10-10 !… Melissa cooked very delicious and healthy meals which I loved - since I work in health care -special family ! Kids are adorable ! Mckenzie brought us to 6-7 deserted islands and I got lobster more times then I imagined fresh fish was great - I used the kayak around the island rode in the paddle board - and swayed on the boats hammock ahhh .my fav place was the last island in San blas - peaceful tranquil really soothes the soul- if you want a vacation to relax this is it ! Maku part of staff was there every step of the way ! Nice young man with a good heart who will make sure you are comfortable -if you want a different type of experience This is it !getting there is work but anything worthwhile is work :) once you’re there - you can get a fresh coconut on the island for $1-2 swim grab your fav beverage and breathe…

San Blas with Mackenzie, his wife and his helping hand was fantastic. We saw so many nice spots of the area and felt like at home! We sailed, snorkeled, swam, walked around islands, had good food and drinks, enjoyed reading and playing games,..... Super relaxing. The boat is not the newest but in very good shape - especially good if you want easy access to the water when swimming or snorkeling at all the great places Mackinzie brought us to. Cleanness, beds, ventilation of the cabins, snorkeling gear, paddel boats, .... - all as expexted on a well managed sailing boat. The food served (breakfast, lunch, dinner, beverages incl. beer and wine, vegetarian options available) for an extra of 60 USD per person and cooked by Melissa was delicious! Mackinzie helped us to organize our trip to and off the boat from Panama City. On top he communicates informative and fast to clarify open topics. We had a great time on the Constellation!
