This house is a traditional Costa Rican house but has a unique jungle feel with lovely gardens and a roof that pulls back over the pool. We didn’t use the pool since it was raining but kids loved the terrace with fuzball. Karolina was responsive and we enjoyed going into the town 7 mins away. The house is large but the downside is 2 of the bathrooms are through bedrooms so that makes it tricky with a large group and sleeping in one room upstairs is difficult if you are a light sleeper since animals (raccoons?) are on the roof.

This house in Chachagua is a good option for large groups. It is a house with its own charm, rustic but built to be comfortable and with interesting things. We really enjoyed the surroundings and green areas, and it's also relatively close to downtown La Fortuna, 15 minutes away. My recommendation to improve the guest experience is to upgrade the mattresses and pillows, and to have A/C in all rooms.

Very good place, very nice, very large, the decor was nice, the kitchen was quite well equipped, all the spaces were well thought out, the sliding roof of the pool makes a big difference in case it rains. I would definitely come back.

If you want a real Costa Rica experience this is the house for you.. we loved the sounds at night from the animals and we loved the scenery during the day. This home is absolutely amazing and loved everything about it.. we will definitely be returning. The only downside was that I did not rent it for 2 weeks instead of the one we did.. Thank you Thank you for the amazing memories ❤️

Beautiful villa, large and spacious. The outdoor terrace was great and beautiful vegetation. Very intimate. On the other hand, the way to get there is very rocky. Two small negative points: little hot water, only in the shower on the 2nd floor and the beds are not very comfortable. For the rest, it was great for a group of 11 people.

Love the home especially the big living space that connected with the outside pool. The kids lived out in the pool most day because they loved it so much.

We had a great time, we were 3 families, 17 people and we were perfectly located, the house was very well equipped. We were able to take several walks nearby,

Karolina was an amazing host and the airbnb was beautiful beyond our expectations. The family welcomed us into the home and were extremely responsive in helping us get settled and acquainted with the area. We loved the stay and wish we could’ve stayed more!

We stayed the family for a family event and everything was perfect. From the beginning, Karolina was very attentive and ready to resolve all doubts. The house is beautiful, both the rooms, the interior area and the porch, the pool and the enclosure. There are quite a few mosquitos but nothing that with repellente and mosquito net can't be resolved. The only thing that could be improved would be some beds from below that being foam are soft. We will be back!

This was a great place. Very large. Renters should know- this isn’t that close to Fortuna(25 minutes) it is down a long rocky dirt road. Also , this house is very cool, but very open. 2 bedrooms are open to the outside. Overall, we loved our stay. The games and fish were very cool. The house was comfortable but no frills. Unfortunately, it rained the entire time, so we didn’t get to use the pool. I would stay here again.
