We spent a week at Casa Capung as a family and everything was absolutely perfect! The villa is exceptionally comfortable, spotless, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The pool, views, and peaceful setting made our stay unforgettable. We would love to come back and highly recommend it to anyone!

Perfect for families - great location

The place is very nice and the house is very cozy. Access is only by 4x4, but it's worth it because it's so nice, and the house is very well maintained. Mar's service and welcome were excellent!

a ton of amenities, included coffee and tea, washer and dryer, toaster options, crockpot for large meals, very spacious and great for families. the pool is very nice and the water was perfect, very cute night lights inside the pool. just don’t use the shower by the pool unless you are dressed because there are surveillance cameras around the pool! overall, very beautiful.

Pros: Amazing view. Great value. Best fridge in Costa Rica which is important for buying groceries. Communication was excellent!! Concierge so helpful. The master bed was very comfortable. Cons: couch and chairs a bit spartan and the amazing view a bit overgrown. Definitely need 4x4!

Amazing stay in Uvita! The views are breathtaking, with a perfect view of the Whale’s Tail and incredible sunsets. We saw toucans from the pool area every day, along with countless birds, butterflies, and even howler monkeys at sunrise. It truly feels like you’re living in the clouds. I was concerned about visiting in June and not having AC in the main living area, but it was never an issue. The elevation, breeze, and ceiling fans kept everything comfortable, and the bedrooms have AC for sleeping. The management team was outstanding. They had groceries waiting for us upon arrival, met us at check-in, and were quick to help with anything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, the property felt safe and secure, and restaurants, coffee shops, and a supermarket were only 10-15 minutes away. My only suggestion would be more lounge-friendly seating in the living room. There was enough seating for four people, but not a comfortable space to stretch out and relax together in the evenings.

The house is beautiful! This place is a little ways from the airport so it is a drive. We arrived while the sun was going down and it was raining so it was pretty difficult to locate at first then we couldn’t find the lock box. The view is amazing and we saw so much wildlife while there.

Casa Capung was one of the most memorable places we’ve stayed. Every morning started with coffee overlooking the jungle canopy, listening to the howler monkeys and evenings ended with sunsets and the sounds of nature all around us. The villa is the perfect balance between luxury and adventure. The pool, outdoor living spaces, and panoramic views were incredible, and we found ourselves wanting to spend as much time at the property as we did exploring Costa Rica. The home was spotless, beautifully designed, well-equipped, and offered plenty of privacy while still being conveniently located for visiting nearby beaches, waterfalls, and local attractions. One thing guests should know is that getting to the villa is part of the adventure. The roads leading to the property are steep, so a true 4x4 vehicle is required. The hosts were fantastic and chefs breakfast was amazing as were the in home massage services. Shout out to Taylor for going above and beyond for our stay. Can’t wait to return!

We really enjoyed the view from the terrace and from the pool! Except for the typical jungle sounds, we were able to enjoy a lot of peace and quiet. The kitchen actually has everything you need and more (e.g., smoothie maker, air fryer, gas grill)... so we were able to use and enjoy the fresh fruits of the region every day. A highlight is the view from the bed of the whale fin! A washing machine and dryer are all present. The hosts are available at any time via WhatsApp. Thank you for this great place and the wonderful time here!

The place was an absolute dream! The property management was always quick and easy to reach by phone and chat and was able to provide support with all matters. Would definitely come again!

This house is truly something very special! The pictures don’t do it justice, this space really is perfect. Ryan and Kristen’s home was an absolutely perfect stay for the last week of our vacation. The property has everything you need/think that you may need. The kitchen is ginormous, outside shower/bathtub is the perfect way to relax after a day at the beach, and the bed in the master bedroom is so comfy. We saw so many different birds and lizards hanging out by the pool! Great location with tons of beaches within 15-20 minute drive. The drive up to the house is a little scary when it’s raining, but 100% worth it. We cannot recommend this property enough.
