Beautiful views and house!! We were able to walk everywhere very easily although the house itself was slightly hard to find at first. Pamela was very helpful and responsive! It was very clean other than the ants that were everywhere. Overall great stay, my group and I had an amazing time in Monteverde.

Unfortunately, we would not stay here again. We were disappointed with several issues during our stay, but the biggest concern was finding multiple bat droppings on the upstairs beds where my daughters were sleeping as well as on our bed. After researching the potential health concerns associated with bat exposure, I was extremely worried and was unable to sleep comfortably the rest of the night. In addition to the bat issue, we also experienced no hot water, very limited kitchen supplies, no kitchen towels, no hooks for hanging items, only a few paper towels provided, and no broom to clean up the bugs and debris that came into the space. The TV did not work, and the furniture was quite uncomfortable. Pamela was kind, responsive, and easy to check in and out with but overall the stay felt like the home was lacking some of the basic amenities and care we expected for the price.

This is a beautiful property that I would describe as a cabin in the woods. Very good location, nicely equipped and beautiful second floor. The house is in a small hill and is surrounded by woods. The clouds come down after dusk and the view is just incredible. Since the house is in the outskirts of the town, we shared space with a couple of geckos and other little critters that our host described as "common in the houses of this area." Pamela was great and very helpful. She even helped us with one of the tours we planned. She did a great job as a hostess. In general I can say that this is a nice place to stay, everything is at walking distance: restaurants, grocery stores, the bus station, souvenir shops, etc.

I stayed at Pamela's house with a group of friends and the experience was spectacular. The place is quite close to downtown, making it easy to get around, and it is located within a private property, so it has a sense of security. In addition to this, Pamela helped us coordinate all the tours and recommended restaurants/coffee shops. If we were to return, it would be to this very place.

It's a beautiful place with amazing views. The place is very well kept. There are bugs but that's probably unavoidable given you're in the forest! And the house is wooden so it creeks a lot if people are walking around upstairs

The place was mega nice! We were there one night. It was a bit further away, though, about a 12-minute walk from many shops and restaurants. But by car, it's a 3-minute drive. The amenities are good, and the interior of the house is very large and spacious. We also encountered a scorpion in our bedroom, which really scared us… I also let Pamela know… You can see the sunset so perfectly from the house; it was so beautiful!!
