Amazing price/value stay at Pelada!

We had a wonderful stay. The pool, the back deck the covered table area was such a nice place to retreat to when it was super hot mid afternoons. We all really enjoyed that outside space. The beds were super comfortable. The bathrooms are all clean and nice. We loved that they had some extra towels for at the beach and some lawn chairs that we took to the beach. I didn’t think we would use those but we did and it was a fabulous addition. We so appreciated all the fresh fruit that was in the kitchen when we arrived. The howler monkeys get pretty rowdy so bring earplugs lol that goes for anywhere that you stay because they’re all over Costa Rica. We cannot say enough good things about our stay here. It was everything when want. It was clean. It was comfortable and we will be most definitely booking another Stay there next year.!!!

Lovely home! The host was extremely responsive and quick to answer questions. Jordy, the concierge was so helpful! He saved the day when we had a flat tire. He met us at the gate and welcomed us! We appreciated the coffee and fruit left to welcome us. It was well loved and enjoyed! The place was spotless and clean. The bed linens and towels are high end and comfortable beds and pillows. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, spices to cook, etc. We were thankful for the beach chairs and extra toys for the sand! We would pack ear plugs next time as the monkeys were very loud and even throwing things at the roof while we were trying to sleep. I’m not sure if that’s normal or just our unfortunate timing. That was our only complaint but it is the jungle, after all… so part of the adventure!

What a perfect location. A few minutes to Pelada with toucans and howler monkeys as neighbours. Nice and quiet area. Safe. Walkable. Simon was super responsive to my (too) many enquires. Thank you for hosting and making our stay in Nosara perfect! Would absolutely book again.

We had a great time in Playa Pelada at Simon and Denise's home. The beach is a short walk away! The home is beautifully decorated with paintings of animals, surf, etc. The pool is great to have for those super hot afternoons. The house had everything we could have needed!

Casa Acachete was very comfortable, clean and well appointed; perfect for our family of 5 . Playa Pelada is just a 10-15 min walk away and there are some wonderful restaurants nearby. We particularly enjoyed Sunrise cafe (for a delicious breakfast or lunch), Olgas (beach bar), Chivos, Pulpo and Luna's. We were a short drive (10 minutes) away from Playa Guiones where our boys took surf classes and rented boards. We also took a snorkeling trip off of Playa Garza (25 min drive) which was beautiful. We saw so many tropical fish and explored Pink Island. Simon and Denise were very responsive and helped us organize our transfers from the airport, our ATV rentals and were available for any questions we had before and during the trip. We really appreciated the modern design, AC, good quality beds and linens. For our afternoons at the beach, we very much enjoyed having numerous beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. The pool was great too! We would highly recommend Casa Acachete!

Great accommodation with amazing location - just a few minutes away from the beach. We used to go every day and loved it. The house is spacious and perfect for a family. When issues occurred which might since you are in the jungle, they were fixed within a day and the company doing this was really fast (Jordy). Great service! Thanks again for hosting us!

Amazing home- super clean. Walkable to the beach, perfect few restaurants around,. Simon and Denise were responsive to any questions we had- and would respond within minutes! Jordy- the house manager was also great to have as a local resource. We were a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids- ages 7-12). The plunge pool was perfect for cooling off and was bigger than we expected! Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in Playa Pelada! The house was beautiful and even better than the pictures showed! We loved the clean, modern kitchen, the spacious bathrooms, comfortable beds, and the relaxing pool area. The location was perfect for us, we felt close to everything, but the house was quiet and comfortable. As three young women, we especially appreciated how secure the house felt with the locking gate and secure doors. The hosts went above and beyond, suggesting ideas for restaurants and things to do and proactively communicating with us before and during our stay. Thank you to Simon and Denise for sharing your beautiful home with us! We hope to be able to return soon and experience another incredible stay!

Casa A Cachete was the perfect house for our party of 5! From the planning phase of our trip, to the day we left, Simon and Denise answered questions, gave recommendations, and helped plan daily activities. The house was beautiful and clean. We had everything we needed! The fresh fruit was especially appreciated after a long day of travel! Jordy helped set up a fishing trip and ATV rentals for us, also. If we make it back, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!! Pura Vida

The house is very comfortable, spacious and very well equipped. We were a big group and it was perfect to be there and enjoy the house. The location is close to everything and the neighborhood is quiet

Would give this 6 stars if I could. The house was absolutely gorgeous, even better than the photos. And that pool, despite being tiny, is my new religion. Hosts and house manager were extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. Absolutely 100% recommend!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Simon and Denise's beautiful home! They went above and beyond in communicating, helping us arrange transportation, and recommending things to do. Their property manager Jordy made check-in a breeze, met us upon arrival, and was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The abundant fresh fruit bowl that welcomed us was just what we needed after a long day of travel. The home had everything we needed, down to the ample supply of beach and pool towels, games, comfortable bedding, and a well-stocked kitchen. The pool/deck area was the perfect place to spend the day keeping cool and enjoying the peaceful birdsong. Their home was the perfect launching spot to the beach & delicious restaurants within walking distance and a short drive to even more restaurants and things to do in nearby Nosara, Guiones and Garza. We loved watching the howler monkeys in the trees surrounding the home & quickly adjusted the jungle noises! Can't wait to return!

Denise and Simon are super star hosts. They are there to support you every step of the way. My family and I rented their house for 3 months and had an absolutely wonderful stay. They have a management company that takes care of everything on the ground asap when needed. The house is clean, well-maintained and well-equipped but not cluttered. It was a great experience! I highly recommend staying at Casa Acachete for long, medium or short-terms stays! I will miss it dearly.

Casa Acachete was wonderful, clean, modern and new. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. I was greeted by the owner’s house manager and able to ask questions and shown around which was really nice. Both the owners and manager were accessible and reachable the entire stay. The house is very close to the beach and restaurants in the neighborhood. Totally recommend!
