Casa Tortuga was beautiful and spacious. Samuel and Marisol were amazing. There is a lot of sargassum on the beach right now but they were working hard to clear it. The snorkeling at the reef was beautiful.

This was the best vacation experience we've had in years. The staff were amazing; they made us feel welcome and took great care of us. The location was perfect—situated in a secure neighborhood with a walkable beach. The house was ideal for our family of eight. I will definitely be recommending Cheryl to all of my friends and family.

Had an amazing week at the villa! The house and the views were exactly what we were hoping for. The caretaker and the housekeeper made sure everything was easy and taken care of. The private chef (also the caretaker) prepared outstanding meals that blended both culture and flavor. Definitely would recommend this place to any groups of 6 to 12, for an easy and relaxing vacay.

Our family of 10 had an amazing week in paradise! The home is absolutely beautiful & looks just like the pictures. Samuel & Marisela went above and beyond for us and truly made this the best Airbnb experience Ive ever had. From delicious dinners to fresh made beds ever day we truly felt like we were staying in a resort but with the luxury of privacy! We also loved the safety of the security at the top of the road & the crew that cleaned the sargassam every day! With there being 10 of us (9 & a toddler) we never once felt like we were on top of each other. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out and enjoy our time in paradise. I felt like my toddler was safe the whole time since he couldn't access the beach or pool without climbing stairs. This is truly a family friendly home! The only con I will say is the shoreline at the house is a bit rocky but this did not stop us from taking the boats out or even just floating. The reef in the bay is truly breathtaking! 😍

This was the second time staying at Casa Tortuga and it was just as good as the first time! There are so many things to do, and if you are traveling with a large group, it's nice to have separate rooms/bathrooms so people can have their space when needed. Samuel and Marisela took such great care of us - they were always there to help, cooked fabulous meals, and allowed us all to truly relax! Such a wonderful experience and highly recommend visiting if you're looking for an awesome place to have fun and relax!

Awesome location that looks exactly like the pictures! Don’t worry about the weed - it’s not a lot and gets cleaned up daily. Highly recommend you get Samuel to cook your meals - absolutely delicious and cheaper and more convenient than going out. Cheryl is a great communicator and dealt with an issue we had as quickly as possible. The road in is as rough as people describe but manageable in the rental car which was not 4WD. The house has everything you need - it is not overly posh so makes it immensely liveable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The community felt very safe. The issue we had was two properties had hired private DJ’s so it was less than peaceful until security contained the noise. Cheryl even offered to move us to a different house to get away from the noise but it was not required.

Our family had an incredible week at Casa Tortuga! Plenty of room for our group of 9 to relax comfortably and enjoy all of the amenities. The house is close to local attractions, but felt private and secure. We loved the paddleboards, kayaks, pool, and snorkeling equipment. Even more, we loved the incredible service from Samuel and Marisela. They made delicious meals for us with smiles and kept the house spotless all week. They even helped arrange massages for us by the pool. Would highly recommend for a group looking for a great mix of relaxation and fun!

Honestly, this was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. It was the perfect combination of location, beauty, peacefulness, privacy, relaxation, and price. The bay is lovely, able to be enjoyed by young and old alike on the kayaks and paddle boards provided. Once I’d been out myself I felt completely comfortable letting our 5 children ages 11-16 go out in pairs. Also having a pool (with a gorgeous view!) was a huge plus. Every comfort has been accommodated - lounge chairs, palapa for shade on the beach, large office-size jugs of drinkable water in each room, striped pool towels, patio furniture upstairs and down - I could go on! But the absolute best part was Samuel and Marisela, ready to serve with a smile: groceries stocked on arrival, fresh coffee in the mornings, delicious meals (our party of 9 partook of 12 in all!), blender drinks, clean bedrooms, bathrooms, floors, kitchens, linens. They truly made our stay carefree and relaxing. We tipped them generously, as deserved.

Great stay! The villa was immensely clean. During the week, Samuel and Marisela were very discreet, but made sure the place was clean. We used the services of Chef Samuel, we highly recommend him! He does the grocery shopping and the food is delicious. Payment is easily made at the end of the week (credit or debit) and Samuel provides us with all the invoices. The villa is safe, there is a 24/7 guard at the end of the street. We had a fun time!

Great property with enough room for our party of nine. Having Chef service , grocery pickup by Samuel and Marisala was very useful. Right on the beach, great location. Property could use some updating. Cheryl was prompt and proactive with sharing info about check in, local recommendations etc..

We stayed at Casa Tortuga with close friend the week before our wedding at Jashita, just up the bay. Samuel and Marisela were amazing, attentive, and always had a smile on their faces. The beach was cleaned of debris every morning and our group enjoyed all the kayaks, paddle boards, and the warmth of the water. Each of us slept comfortably in our rooms with plenty of water and AC. We also loved utilizing all the different decks throughout the day. Cheryl was very good at communicating with me before our stay. We had an unforgettable time and experience :)

The fantastic house for our group Samuel and Maricela solve everything fantastic to have them and so everyone could rest they cooked very delicious and the margaritas a vice. We really enjoy the pool unfortunately in front of the house you can't get into the sea. It's full of zargazos. Although they take them out daily, it is not possible to bathe so we walk to other places in the bay where they were not there and we go out every morning to different beaches cenotes water park or ruins. Everything is very easy to get around. Cheryl was always available and aware that everything was fine and fixing anything with Samuel

Host was very responsive. Samuel greeted us warmly upon arrival and exceeded our needs and expectations with service, meals, local recommendations and helped to line up tours and transportation. Marisela was friendly, warm and helpful as well, keeping the home clean and orderly. Best vacation our family has experienced and we are very grateful.

Samuel and Maricela were amazing hosts! We felt totally pampered with the cleaning and the 5 star restaurant meals! The snorkeling in the bay was outstanding! What a gem!
