Judy and Darren were by far some of the best Hosts I've have had traveling. especially being at ease of mind of renting outside in a different country. can be scary sometimes, but from the first message, during my stay and till I left. I felt comfortable and at home away from. they are wonderful people. Will definitely stay in touch for future visits. ocean view House was phenomenal. pictures doesent do justice as in person. place is spacious, clean and in prestige condition. From tile work to detail of everything done in the house which was designed and built by Darren. View is Amazing sunrise and sunset is to die for from the balcony or relaxing by the pool. I rarely leave a review. this one was worth the time of sitting down to put into words. Because my experience was so enjoyable there. if it weren't for someone booking my dates. I would have stayed my who tenure. highly recommend and would give them 10 stars if I could.

Great place for 2 couples. Layout is a little strange - you either have to walk outside or through the bathroom to get to the downstairs bedroom. You should have a 4x4 to get there - didn't know about the unpaved roads until we received final directions. The driveway is extremely steep as well. Easy drive from the Liberia Airport, excellent restaurants and markets in town. Amazing views!!! Very relaxing.

Clean, Great View and Nice and Quiet! Great place to stay in Costa Rica

Judy and Darren were great hosts. Always responsive and very helpful!! The house is very nice. There are stairs to get up to the living area of the house and the driveway is really steep, but otherwise the location was great. The area was quiet and safe. The view was fantastic and great for watching sunrise and sunset. I would recommend staying here!

Wonderful home and beautiful location. Judy was so kind and made us feel safe and at home! Fantastic view, easy access to everything. Judy helped us navigate everything from taxis to restaurant and tours. Can’t say enough good things!

Amazing place with an outstanding view of the ocean. The house was super clean and the private pool is perfect. Judy was an amazing host and was always available to help. Looking forward to be back.

Had a wonderful stay at Judy's beautiful place. The view was spectacular from all rooms in the house. The decks were comfortable with plenty of seating. The pool was be a little chilly, but felt refreshing on the warm days. Judy and Darren were always available to answer any questions/requests and although they live in one of the units of the property, they did not intrude. Each pool and unit is completely private. Bed was comfortable and AC worked like a champ. The surrounding area is rural, so made for a very peaceful and relaxing stay with a short $6 cab ride into town. The property is gated and we felt extremely safe the entire stay. Please note the driveway is very steep and there are two flights of stairs in the unit we booked, so if you have mobility issues this may not be the best choice for you. They do have a one story unit though where you can at least avoid the stairs. I would definitely re-book this little piece of paradise! Thank you Judy and Darren!!!

Judy and Darren were fantastic hosts. They greeted us upon arrival, helped us unload our luggage and made us feel right at home. They were always available to answer questions, give us recommendations, or bring us a few needed supplies. They live in the apartment next door. The house was beautiful with a spectacular view of the ocean. We loved to sit on the balcony and by the pool! We were so happy with the location as it was close to many restaurants, bars, grocery shopping, general tourist shopping, and all of our excursion starts! (all 5 minutes away) We did walk to coco beach one day, but a short drive would be a better choice as the house is located up in the hills and some of the roads are rough terrain. There are many beautiful beaches within a 10 minute drive from this home which we enjoyed. We are a family of 4 and this was the perfect place for us! We loved that it had a washer and dryer, a few beach towels, beach chairs, and games. Thank you for a fantastic week!

Judy was a great host. The prop has 3 dwellings but you are PRIVATE! This was my concern but it most definitely is private ans the most perfect view exactly like photos! The host was excellent. 100 💯 recommend and we plan to go back. ❤️🇨🇷

The view was really beautiful. Almost no houses were visible from the house or the pool only a forest of green trees and the ocean. The house is very private and quiet with a fast internet. I am looking forward to a return visit.

Judy’s house is perfect for a couple. It was very clean and nicely decorated. It had plenty of outdoor seating which made it easy to relax after a long day of travel. We thoroughly enjoyed the private pool. The surrounding area was very quiet and we felt safe. The views were amazing. The property was only a 5 minute drive from all the restaurants and shopping. There’s also a MaxiPali for anything you need just 2 minutes away. Judy was very nice and accommodating. I would highly recommend this property.

The stay at Judy and her husband's home was amazing! The house is gorgeous and very private, the view is spectacular, we would definitely come back!

My husband and I loved our stay at Vista Marina and we're very happy we chose to stay here. Our host Judy and her husband are genuinely good people and put their heart and soul into the place. They are very responsive and friendly and took care of all our requests and answered our questions right away. The condo is spacious and well decorated with tasteful and unique pieces, and we found everything we expected or needed inside. The pool got a ton of use, and the outdoor living space has flow, and the views are amazing from any perspective. The driveway is crazy steep, but manageable without 4wd. We were able to get a rented golf cart up the hill and into its space without fail. The neighborhood is a quiet mix of modern and Tico houses and feels very safe. We would move in if we could! But we're hapoy with the memories made here, and the friends as well.
