This house was kept immaculately and provided a great respite for our Mexican spring break. Attention to detail and care from the hosts.

We absolutely loved our stay at casa candaleria (aka casa palapa). It was everything we hoped for and more. It was the Perfect place for our family of 4 (2 teen children) to disconnect from everything at home and reconnect as a family. It was a great jumping off point for deep sea fishing, great restaurants, grocery and hospital nearby. Gladys did an incredible job with her recommendations as well and we need to plan a return trip to try the rest! There was so much thoughtfulness in the details, coffee for the mornings, art supplies, a record player a warm welcome and exit. We highly recommend staying here for a unique and restorative experience!! We send scritches to love bug too!!!

My husband and I just spent 6 days at Casa Candelaria and it was just what we needed. Unplug, relax and just breathe! Gladys and Jacqueline have created a home that is filled with peace, warmth and comfort. The pool and garden was so peaceful to relax at yet the most beautiful beach and ocean was a short walk away. We felt and were incredibly safe our entire trip, when visiting downtown San Jose del Cabo and within the gated community where the house is located. Uber worked out great for us and every single driver was warm and professional. Gladys is an INCREDIBLE host from the moment she greeted us to always being available with suggestions and responsive within minutes. She arranged in-home massages for us that were fabulous! I could go on and on about what Casa Candelaria means to us. We are so grateful we found this gem, we bring home with us its peace and a longing to return! THANK YOU GLADYS!

What a soothing journey it has been to enjoy Mother Nature in your piece of Paradise Gladys! We left a piece of our heart in Casa Candelaria and our footprint on the beach… Thank you for everything from start to finish and in between. We felt the LOVE in your house and you nurtured us even before arriving. Pure Magic!!! When our family goes on vacation, I do a lot of research to find the perfect escape! When I stumbled across Casa Candelaria, I knew we had to book it! Upon arrival, it not only confirmed my gut feeling, it surpassed it! This home is truly a perfect slice of heaven! You can feel the love poured into this home…it exudes comfort, peace and the coolest vibe! It’s an escape to truly enjoy and soak up nature and all the beauty around you…to unplug from the world and appreciate being present. The first morning, I enjoyed sitting on the beach watching the sunrise. That memory will forever be etched in my mind. And from there, the rest of the week spent at Casa Candelaria will be etched in our hearts! Thank you Gladys & Jackie for sharing this magical space! The home was perfect. It was filled with decor celebrating Mexican heritage and nature. It offered all the amenities needed to enjoy a long weekend in Cabo San Lucas.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Candelaria! The house is gorgeous, peaceful, and filled with beautiful details that made it feel like home. Gladys and Jackie were incredible hosts, going above and beyond, especially as I’m eight months pregnant. They made our stay truly special with thoughtful gestures, and our dog was welcomed like royalty with treats, bowls, and a toy, something we’ve only experienced in luxury hotels. The AC works great, the bed was super comfortable, and the space felt serene and relaxing. A few notes: the home isn’t directly beachfront—it’s a short, steep walk with only partial ocean views. Also, while we were told the beach was swimmable, currents were too strong, and we were advised to drive five minutes to a public beach. A local guard said it’s often unsafe for swimming. There was also noticeable construction noise from trucks and nearby houses during our stay. Still, Casa Candelaria is stunning, unique, and we’d absolutely love to return!

We had the most lovely stay and Jacqueline's property. It's truly a gem of a place and we felt right at home. We fully enjoyed the location, pool, fully equipped kitchen, thoughtful touches, and incredibly comfortable bed. Don't hesitate booking for a specially curated stay.

What a gift and a privilege to spend a few (too few!) days here. An absolute jewel of a home, so thoughtfully curated, and set within a gorgeous, tranquil community. I awoke to the sounds of birdsong and waves crashing at the nearby beach, and loved browsing the gardens daily. Gladys is a warm and attentive host, generous with recommendations, local history and her delightful personality. All creature comforts have been considered and provided, from welcome snacks to lovely linens and bath potions. As I share her love of beautiful objects, it was a treat to notice them at every turn. In truth (aside from cloning Lovebug), I cannot think of anything I'd improve upon. Hope to return!

We had a perfect stay! The house was as beautiful and peaceful as it looked in the pictures. We had practically the whole private beach to ourselves. The recommendations for restaurants was so helpful and all meals were AMAZING. It was an easy, relaxing and enjoyable vacation from start to finish. Highly recommend.

I’ve been contemplating for days about what to say to succinctly describe how much I genuinely enjoyed my time at Casa Candelaria. From the initial photos, to the host’s communication, to the warm welcome we received, my anticipation was building and my expectations were high. Well, there are not enough ways for me to explain how much literally everything was exceeded exponentially. This was one of the best weeks of my entire life! Surrounded by palatial properties all throughout the subdivision, this cozy palapa is a refreshing gem of epic proportions. Luxurious finishes, well-appointed, thoughtful touches, and just a 3 minute walk to the beach, I felt more at home here than my own home (which I happen to love very much!). Thank you ladies for creating the most magical experience in a gorgeous location. I genuinely cannot wait to come back!

Truly my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. We had an amazing time hanging out by the pool, cooking breakfast, and enjoying the private beach. The host went above and beyond to accommodate. We will definitely be back and I have referred this property to many people already!

We could immediately tell that someone spent a great deal of time carefully crafting an extremely unique and warm environment. Every book, candle, artwork, etc. had been thoughtfully placed such that it worked perfectly and blended in with the home rather than becoming a piece of clutter
