Had an amazing 3 days with Shawn and Ludi! Isolated island with the best white sand beaches, snorkeling with nurse sharks and eagle rays and soaking up the sun on the Kismet. Shawn was super responsive and Ludi’s cooking was top-notch. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

By far hands down one of the best Vacations I've ever Experienced. I highly recommend it and hope to go back soon. Literally priceless. super friendly and fun.

Great experience. The San Blas archipelago is amazing, with crystal clear water and an abundance of sea life. Plenty of water activities. Enjoying a cold beverage and the breeze at sunset while relaxing on the “Kismet” trampoline, followed soon thereafter by stargazing, was mesmerizing. “Kismet” was clean and well kept. We enjoyed getting to know Shawn and Ludi. Conversations with Shawn felt like reconnecting with a long-lost and now new friend. We always felt safe and in very capable hands—he handled the boat with the confidence and ease of a true master. He was also very responsive before and throughout our stay. Both Shawn and Ludi were especially kind and attentive with my son when he got a bit too much sun. Meals were simple and home-style, and while not gourmet, we appreciated they were sharing what they themselves eat. If you’re looking for an authentic, laid-back sailing experience and are comfortable with close quarters and a more informal setup, highly recommend.

Wonderfully trip! Shawn is an outstanding host, extremely nice and caring, great hospitality! Excellent snorkeling and kayaking, beautiful islands, very interesting to get to know local culture. Great food by Ludi, she is also super nice. Highly recommended!!!

What an amazing and unforgettable experience on the Kismet with Shawn and Ludi! Shawn and Ludi made us feel right at home and were fantastic hosts! Shawn recommended a company to get to the boat and everything went extremely smoothly, just getting to the catamaran is an adventure by itself :) We spent four beautiful days onboard and visited a different beach/island each day! Great snorkeling every day and we saw seaturtles, sharks and lots of beautiful fish. Ludi is an excellent cook and the food was delicious. Shawn and Ludi made this truly such a great experience and I hope our paths cross again somewhere in the world. My kids, husband and I can highly recommend to stay with them! If we can we will be back! Do not miss out on this amazing experience and book with Shawn!

Precious moments were spent aboard the Kismet, where we enjoyed our own private quarters and were truly pampered by our wonderful hosts, Captain Shawn and Ludi. As we sailed through the stunning waters of San Blas, we relaxed on comfortable bean bags and ended each day watching the sunset and gazing at the stars. Shawn took us to several unique snorkeling spots where we admired beautiful coral and vibrant fish. Meanwhile, Ludi prepared delicious meals that ensured we were never hungry and patiently helped me practice my Spanish. So many memorable moments were made on this trip. A bucket-list experience that was not only met, but exceeded. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend the experience in San Blas. The boat corresponds exactly to the photos, with comfortable and well-maintained space. The hosts are super nice, with great energy, they make everything light and pleasant from day one. It was a special experience — I miss it already.

We had a wonderful 6-night stay on Shawn's catamaran. Ludy prepared good meals for us. Shawn showed us around several paradise islands of the SanBlas. Shawn was attentive and offered us activities every day: snorkeling, kayaking, beach. Really a nice week.

We felt right at home! It was a unique and unforgettable experience, we would definitely come back! The islands we visited were each more beautiful than the last. Shawn and Ludy are the best hosts, super helpful at all times, 5-star food! We stayed 4 days and if we could we would have stayed more days! We spent Christmas together, a beautiful night! The San Blas archipelago contains hundreds of islands. We visited only a handful, yet each felt infinite. Shawn inhabits his catamaran the way a librarian inhabits her library: with quiet mastery over a world that seems impossibly vast. Ludi prepared our meals with a care that suggested ritual. We brought our daughter, who is three and exists in that liminal state where memory has not yet calcified into narrative. Perhaps she will not remember the stars we watched from the deck, arranged in constellations whose names we did not know, or watching the clouds and imagining their personifications. Perhaps she will... we hope she will. We snorkeled among sharks and shipwrecks. And on one private island, with Shawn's discreet coordination, I proposed. She said yes. Time, which had felt suspended, resumed. We will return. Thank you Shawn and Ludi for everything.

From the first contact to departure, we can give Shawn and his wife 5 stars from the heart (unfortunately there are no more to choose from). Two such warm hosts who welcome their guests with care and make the trip to the San Blas Islands an unforgettable experience. Culinary, you couldn't do better. Shari is a very good cook and responds to every request. Every day she enchanted us with 3 meals. Shawn also reads every wish from your lips and is immersed in the underwater world with us every day. Whether snorkeling from the boat, or on another reef, a visit to the offshore island, an excursion with the SUB or the kayak... Unfortunately, time flies... We can highly recommend visiting Shawn and Shari at home on their catamaran and spending an indescribably beautiful and unforgettable time with them...

The Kismet is the perfect way to see the stunning San Blas islands! From waking up to the most incredible views, relaxing on the bean bags at the front of the boat with a fresh coffee to incredible snorkelling spots, this is a bucket list experience! Shawn and Shari were wonderful hosts and spoilt us with lots of delicious food too- we had the best time and would highly recommend!

Shawn and Shari made us feel right at home in theirs. Kismet is a gorgeous boat — clean, spacious, and full of treasures from their adventures. They were super supportive on the logistical side of things. Warm and generous on the hospitality side. They are a wealth of knowledge! We learned so much from them while eating delicious food and taking in as much of Guna Yala as we could in our short time there. Muchas gracias!!
