Pictures don’t do justice on how great this place is. Fantastic pool and exactly the relaxing week we were looking for A couple tips -if you’re buying alcohol/wine pick it up at duty free at airport. WAY cheaper than locally -grocery store in nosara is best option. We stopped in Santa Cruz on the way down and not much there -roads aren’t great but completely doable. Zero issues all week -best dinner of the week was at Huacas in nosara. Unreal! Will be booking again asap!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home. Booking a 6 week winter escape in a place you've never seen in person is a bit of a risk but we picked the perfect one. The house was ideal for us. The location beautiful and remote - exactly what we were looking for. Stevie, the property manager, couldn't have been more helpful. He was a great source of info on the entire area and a delight to work with. This was our third trip to CR - this time with a totally different goal of just getting away - and it was exactly what we needed. Thank you Stevie and Kristen.

We enjoyed our stay at Kristen’s place and would recommend it to families or groups of friends wishing to relax in a beautiful setting. The property has well-functioning modern appliances and everything needed for a longer stay.

A breathtaking place! Steven went above and beyond prior to arriving. He was so helpful with everything! We all enjoyed the peaceful location and the friendly neighbours dog. Nothing was disappointing. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Kristen. You have a piece of heaven there.

Wow. What a place. I felt like James Bond or maybe a Bond villain in some secret hideout. We drank that view in every morning from the patio. Incredible. Firstly the house. A really beautiful well thought out space that takes maximum advantage of the lofty position overlooking the jungle and the ocean in the distance. You can hear the waves crashing on the shore. The wildlife in CR is totally epic from turtles laying their eggs on the beach, Howler monkeys in the trees right outside our bedroom and whales breaching right next to the boat. Just on a totally different level to anywhere we’ve been previously. There are plenty of local very good restaurants to choose from and a 30 min drive gets you to Nosara with a great surfing vibe. Beaches are extraordinarily beautiful and being out of season almost empty. The people are warm and friendly and super relaxed. Possible best holiday ever. I would book again tomorrow.

House of Peace is a perfect spot amazing location and place.

Kristen’s places is beautiful. Stevie, our host, was great. Very friendly, responsive, and always available. We all loved the house and enjoyed our stay. There’s a decent amount of wildlife even during dry season and the sounds of howler monkeys in the mornings and evenings. The sunsets are great to watch from the patio as well.

We had a great time, everything was perfect.We loved the pool and the casita was perfect for my 25 years old daughter. The view was incredible. There was construction near by but it wasn’t loud. It didn’t affect our vacation. I loved the kitchen, it was really well equipped! We highly recommend La Caza de Paz and we would come back for sure!

Stunning and private place. The house is beautifully designed for feeling immersed in nature and has a wonderful layout. The pool was long enough for swimming laps which was great. Love this place.

Beautiful place. Secluded location. Lots of options for lounging in the sun or shade. Has all amenities you could need. Enjoy the daily coati visits!

Incredible home! The house is beautifully decorated with wonderful artwork The view from every room is delightful. Kitchen is very well supplied. Pool is perfect for swimming or hanging out. Manager Stevie is great - responding quickly to our every need and offering very helpful guidance for activities in the area. We enjoyed visits from the coatis and the monkeys. We had a very fun stay.
