Everything was perfect. Especially recommend arranging private chefs through them.

I stayed with my kids and grandkids. We loved Paola's place. We saw more monkeys and sloths in our back yard than we saw in Manuel Antonio National Park. We had a great time. Jackson and Flori were amazing local hosts and provided everything we asked for. They made a good time great.

This Villa is better than you see in description and photos. It is on the beach with nobody else around. Flory was very responsive. She met us at midnight when our vans pulled up. She welcomed us with a smile. The welcome and the smile continued for the week. The only surprises were good ones. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Pool was loved by everyone. Beach was a two minute walk through the gate. Have Flory and team cook breakfast for you. It was fantastic. Everyone loved it. This place is quiet and a little remote. We like this. There were many local places to eat nearby, only 5-10 minutes by car. Small markets were also available. Dominical was 20 minutes and Quepos was 40 minutes away. Everyone in town was friendly and helpful. We had 15 people and were very comfortable. Everyone had a quiet place to retreat to, when wanted.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path beach getaway, Playa Matapalo is hard to beat. We loved the quiet atmosphere, incredible wildlife, and miles of uncrowded beach. Waking up to monkeys in the trees, colorful macaws flying overhead, and the sounds of the jungle made this stay feel truly unique. The sunsets were spectacular, and it was the perfect place to slow down and enjoy nature. The location is ideal if you’re looking to unplug rather than be in a busy tourist area. We enjoyed exploring nearby beaches and towns, and it was a great home base for adventures while still feeling secluded. If you appreciate wildlife, beautiful scenery, and a laid-back Costa Rican experience, Perry and Paola's Villa is an unforgettable destination. We’d happily return!

Words truly cannot express how magical this place is! Beyond the amount of space and privacy that all of the bedrooms afford, and the amenities of “home”, the property setting is unmatched!! The beach is steps away and the ocean can be seen and heard from all over the home. The garden setting outside of the gates is so peaceful. Nothing beats lying in a hammock under the trees and watching the ocean feet away. The infinity pool is a fun place for lounging or playing games with the entire family. And the icing on the cake…..the wildlife! We were visited by spiny tailed iguanas and geckos daily. White faced monkeys visited frequently and were so fun to watch running around and playing in the trees. And a sloth mom and baby stayed in the trees just outside of the property for many days. Scarlett macaws flew over regularly and frequently land in the trees close to the home. Perry, Paula, and team were responsive and treat you like family. I cannot recommend this place enough! Pura Vida!

We had a wonderful stay in Matapalo!!! You can’t beat the views being right on the beach . Had great communication from making our reservations and throughout our stay. Flory was very helpful in arranging tours and answering any questions that came up. Highly recommend this beautiful home.

We went with a family of 14 and had a Great Time! The House was perfect and The Chefs they recommended was amazing. They were very helpful with our itinerary and transportation.

The house was amazing. We felt right at home and were stunned with the amazing views. Flory and Thomas were friendly, responsive and very helpful. It was a dream come true for seeing the smiles of 3 generations.

Wonderful place for our group of 8 family and grown children! The ocean is right in front and you are wrapped in nature. We saw: a sloth, monkeys, lizards, birds—all right there. Flori and Jacson were so helpful and made the stay even better. Trust Flori to set up anything and any tour you need. Chef Leo meals were amazing and abundant. Beds and pillows extremely comfortable as well.

Hands down the best place we've ever stayed at in Costa Rica! It was a newer home that was ideal for multiple couples as it provided a private room and bath for each. The interior gathering space (kitchen/living/dining) featured a big couch plus a large table and chairs although we spent a lot of time in the pool and covered outdoor retreat complete with 2 bars (one overlooking the beautiful property with views to the beach), several cushioned chairs, benches and couch, a bar fridge, sink and a grill! The beauty of the grounds and the sounds of the waves crashing -even from inside our rooms-was amazing! The staff was very accommodating but not intrusive. Flory was wonderful & Jackson provided fresh coconut water daily and even brought us surfboards. Security also patrolled the exterior of the house at night just to make sure we felt safe. The nearby convenience store and pizza place was a bonus. It is a short drive away from the waterfalls, Domincal, Quepos & Manuel Antonio!

What can I say? Our choice to stay at Perry and Paola's was without doubt the best vacation decision we could have made for our family. It was breathtaking and just perfectly situated to enjoy relaxing bliss on the beach and well located to Quepos and Uvita for all the adventures you could want. The properties are gorgeous and exceptionally maintained. Having Flory's help set up activities and transportation made traveling with kids that much more simple. If you are thinking about Costa Rica and happened upon this listing...stop looking and book it now. You won't regret it.

Everything about this stay was perfect! The location is amazing and the staff (host, groundskeeper, and security) were super amicable and helpful. Close proximity to many attractions while still feeling private. The in home massage was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Best Beach House Ever - Right on the Beach. When we travel, we like to stay near the beach, as close as possible. But this house is on the beach. We stayed at Paola’s Beachfront Villa five wonderful nights. The house has two master suites with all the amenities. It is awesomely decorated. Another big plus is the incredible management. The managers, Flory and Jacson, were very responsive to our requests, professional and courteous.

We had the most magical week here! The house is gorgeous and set up perfectly to enjoy the stunning views. You can hear the waves from your bed! Being able to just step off the deck and be on the beach in a minute was heaven. We spent lots of time in the pool when it was too hot on the beach and enjoyed gorgeous sunset walks every evening. The monkeys entertained us most mornings-what a hoot! Any thing you could possibly need on vacation was here. Games and pool toys, every kitchen accessory, 2! washer/dryer combos. Everything was super clean and the beds and furniture were comfortable. But I can't say enough about what Flory added to our experience. She arranged airport transportation and car rentals, recommended and booked chefs for breakfast and dinners and generally answered any question we had. Those details took it to the next level. We would definitely stay here again. And if you choose to stay here I highly recommend Chef Leo for dinner. Outstanding meals!

We loved everything about our stay! The house was beautiful, the pool was perfect, everything was even better than the photos! We watched the sunset on the beach every night! The beach is gorgeous and quiet and we swam every day! Flori helped us book a kayaking tour, shuttle service from the airport and chef services. The food was amazing, Karla did a fantastic job! We could not have loved our stay more! We will definitely be back! Thanks Perry and Paola and Flori! Pura Vida!
