The location of the property is fantastic. The view is incredible and the villa is very spacious. Unfortunately whilst it was dark outside it wasn’t very relaxing in the kitchen and living room since there were countless bugs and moths following the light and coming inside. They won’t leave the inside anymore and only get more and more so we opted to eating out on some evenings. There is a gap between the walls (which we were told was gone, but that wasn’t the case) and the ceiling which is not filled, so this is where all of the bugs came inside. So just keep in mind that there will be these bugs all over the place also while cooking if it is dark outside. Also the kitchen didn’t have all the essentials (oil) as listed in the description, so we had to head back to the store a second time before cooking. A TV was in the bedroom, but I could also not get it to work. All in all the place is nice but we would choose a different place the next time because of these inconveniences

Very well furnished very poor design extremely hot not able to use kitchen slash couch room extremely hot from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. over 90°, room cannot be cooled no insulation glass tin roof . cooking 5 to 6:00 a.m. only. fans cannot keep house cool outside temp is inside temp plus 10° , it's in the oven . with doors open fans on just doesn't cool road noise extreme. well furnished with premium in bedroom area the only AC side no place to hang clothes can't even live out of suitcase no place to store them only floor or end of bed . This space really the only usual part of the house is the bathroom the bedroom side of house with ear plugs the road is too noisy beautiful view front yard is half acre of dirt which is mud in the rain the owner doesn't bring up these facts. You have one usable room in the daytime you cannot cook or use the living area. ask questions he leaves a lot out for a very expensive price beautiful home poor design the owner is tried hard to make it livable

We stayed for a few days in June, and absolutely loved it. Great views, and truly sitting in the ecosystem: Plenty of wildlife on the property during our time we saw: - Toucan in the nearby trees - howler monkeys in the mornings by the driveway (a group of 3) - A group of capuchin in the morning in the trees around the driveway before reaching the Airbnb (probably around 10 or so) - Agouti crossing the stream by the waterfall on the property Plenty to do in the surrounding areas, and kitchen had everything you need if you decide to cook while you are there. Get a 4x4 if your traveling by rental car, but you should get one anyway as many restaurants and attractions will require it. Would stay again!

Unique location on a rainforest property with sea views. Animal watching included. If you are looking for something special, you should book this accommodation.

all in all good. a relatively cheap house but with a great view of the ocean. you have a kitchen too cock and a nice balcony. definetely only reachable with a 4x4!

The Airbnb offers a wonderful view of the ocean. In just 5 minutes, you can even reach a small, private waterfall. We enjoyed it.

Beautiful view and lots of animals to spot from the balcony. The nearby road was a bit noisy. Mariol was super friendly and helpful.

Very nice place, the views are stunning. It’s right in the middle of nature with no neighbors in sight. The house is nice, in a good location, and the beach is right next door by car. Recommended.

Location itself is amazing, views to the ocean and jungle are stunning. Very private place with lots of space. Mairol was very responsive to our requests. Highly recommended ! Be aware that 4 by 4 is required.

It was my first stay with AIRbnb. As for communication with the host, it was perfect. Mairol is a very nice person and always answers everything. The accommodation itself is standard. Unfortunately, the proximity of the main road means higher noise from passing vehicles. Of course, it will be nice when the surroundings of the property are completed.

The location of the apartment is unbeatable. It is very secluded and the view is incredibly beautiful! The beds are very cozy and you will find everything you need in the apartment. Check-in went smoothly and the explanations to find the place were very clear and helpful. The only thing that bothered us a bit was that you could not turn off the floodlight on the balcony, because the remote control was missing. As a result, the light burned all night and attracted a lot of insects. It is perhaps important to know that the walls of the room in the kitchen and living room are not completely closed and thus some animals can enter the accommodation. Overall, we had an unforgettable stay.

A beautifully secluded private accommodation with a breathtaking view. From the balcony, you can even spot whales in the water using binoculars. The property is very clean and exactly as shown in the pictures. It offers everything you could possibly need, with a very well-equipped kitchen. The private waterfall is absolutely stunning.

Mairol,’s place has a very beautiful view and is surrounded by nature. We saw lots of birds, butterflies, and heard the howler monkeys most mornings. It was very private, clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay has been wonderful, the view on the pacific is stunning, and host has been very helpful! I totally recommend this place, 4 by 4 recommended but not mandatory in dry season.

Spotlessly clean, gorgeous view, very private, spacious. Comfy bed, nice linens, loved the rocking chairs on the balcony. Walls don’t reach the ceiling so there are open gaps to the outside. Single ply toilet paper. AC is only in the bedroom, not the living room area. Would book again.

The stay in this little house of the moon was excellent, everything was very beautiful, there is privacy and you feel very safe, the views are exceptional, everything was super clean. The surroundings are beautiful because it is surrounded by mountains and the ocean view is wonderful Thank you very much, Mairol and Mauren. We hope to return soon.❤️

The house is exactly as shown in the photos, with an amazing view of the ocean. There is forest and lots of wildlife around: it was beautiful to see monkeys, toucans, different birds and butterflies. In addition, inside the property there is a small waterfall, which makes the place even more special. At night you can see the stars, it looks really spectacular. The hosts also gave us many very helpful recommendations on places to visit and restaurants. Thank you so much for that! We had a bit of a hard time going up the hill with the car, but they quickly arranged help and everything went perfectly. If you don't have a 4x4, it's best to leave the car below and walk about 150 meters; the area is very safe and quiet. We definitely recommend this place!
