Brisas de Pacífico was perfect for a week-long stay for our family group of 6. Everything centers around the saltwater pool and all rooms have direct access to the deck and jungle views. We appreciated the comfy beds, fans + AC in all rooms the well-equipped kitchen, separate (+ plenty of) shower + beach towels, the hammock, padded lounge chairs, places to eat inside + out, the SALTWATER POOL, the rooftop deck + grill, the lush jungle views... We appreciated the personal touches, including fresh flowers on the table, Barb & Kyle walking us through the property, and Matt & Barb's quick communication and responsiveness. Thank you, Matt, especially for extending our check out time to accommodate a work meeting I was leading! Brisas del Pacífico was a great place to explore the area - from Playa Hermosa to Playa Los Muertos, the Montezuma Waterfalla, Selva Brewing Company, the mariposario, snorkeling bioluminessence tour from Tambor, and of course, Tierra y Fuego. We'll be back!

Home was beautiful and the surrounding jungle was magical. We were able to watch birds and other wildlife from the comfort of the property.

Matt was a super helpful host in the lead up to our trip - communicative, made date changes for us, and had house managers who got in touch with us about arrival / local information. Highlights of the house: the pool is great, the kitchen is well stocked, the landscaping is beautiful, the local recommendations were great, the maintenance man next door was a huge bonus, and the A/C/ceiling fans kept the place cool at night. We had a few issues with the house while we were there but Matt/his team handled most of them quickly and efficiently. One note for parents: 2 of the bedrooms open up only to the pool/deck area - they are separate from the main house (you have to go through a locked door to get to the main house/master bedroom). So with little kids, if they can open their own sliding door, they can end up wandering around near an open pool. My husband and I split up to share beds with our daughters to ensure their safety. It wasn't a big deal but worth noting.

This house was exactly what we thought we were getting. It’s a little ways away from montezuma, but overall was a nice place to stay. It was clean, Barb and Kyle were helpful and friendly. Lots of wildlife and a great pool for a young family.

Matts place is a wonderful, quiet and relaxing place to stay with monkeys and great birding. It is about 10 minutes up the hill from town, which wasn't a problem for us since we had a car. We enjoyed the location more than staying in town. The layout of the house, the very private salt water pool, well stocked kitchen and great beds made it feel like home. Barb and Kyhl made check in and out so easy. Barb was also available to answer our questions. After 6 weeks of traveling this was a great place to end our trip. Thanks to all of you! Yes we would stay again!!

We enjoyed our weeklong stay. The house is secluded on jungle like property, about a 7 minute drive into town. The backyard patio and pool were delightful — great outdoor space. Good Wi-Fi for work. Very responsive local contacts. Monkeys on site! We didn’t cook but here are suggestions for dining out every night: Puggos (an absolute must, but know that during the rainy season you’ll have to drive a few extra minutes because the river will be too high to cross, or if you don’t have an SUV don’t take the shortcut even during the dry season), Soda la Naranja, Sano Banano and Cocolores. We also liked Ylang Ylang but you’ll need an SUV as you have to drive on the beach.

a really beautiful villa we loved everything about it apart from the very long walk to montezuma as we didn't have a car there is a bus but we missed it most days but who cares we enjoyed the walk ( about 40 mins )and got a taxi up the hill we loved watching the wildlife and chilling by the pool

This house was so beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the saltwater pool and the upstairs lounge/bar area. The house worked out great for two couples. Check in and communication was fantastic. The A/C in the third bedroom didn’t seem to work but they were working on getting it fixed - it didn’t bother us as we didn’t need that room. The scenery is magnificent and we hope to return some day for a longer stay!
