Excellent stay, very private area. We loved staying there.

We like this reclusive house and stay there for two weeks during the Christmas season. The host and the manager are caring people and provide whatever is needed for a simple, natural lifestyle. If there is anything to improve for a better experience, hot water for showers can be a consideration. A pickup upon arrival and drop off to a bus stop or station will be of great help to guests.

The house itself is beautiful—spacious, clean, and well-decorated with a comfortable layout and a fully stocked kitchen. Just like described on amenities. It’s in a quiet, safe neighborhood and was overall a great place to stay. The beds were comfy, the AC worked well, and everything looked just like the photos. If you are looking for a place just to spend the night this could be for you 🙂 I got to say that the communication with the host was amazing and they were always there to help. That said, we did run into a few issues during our stay. There were quite a few ants in the bedrooms, and we also found 3 small alacrán (scorpion) in the restrooms. It was a bit unsettling, especially for anyone not used to that type of wildlife. It’s something to be aware of if you’re staying here. Overall, we enjoyed our time, but a little extra pest prevention would make this place a solid 5-star experience.

Best quality/price in the area, nicely placed between playa remanso and about 13 minutes from san juan del sur. Pro: Well situated, mountain chalet feeling as you are surrounded by beautiful tropical mountains, clean and with multiple bedrooms, really magical views of the surrounding nature, Alvaro the property manager is a really nice guy and is there 24/7 for your needs and also if you need a ride to the beach. Cons: Need a 4x4 car to access which adds around 60USD per day to your rental as a regular rental car will not get you there, very strong smell of insecticide all throughout the house as it is in the middle of a forest and I imagine get's filled with all types of bugs, security camera surveilling the terrace 24/7 on the upper floor so it does not fill very intimate when you are with family, no hot water no blender and no TV. Gave 5 star because of the amazing experience we had overall with my family. 100% recommended

Abby and Naechi are great host. The house and amenities are as described. The kitchen has everything you needed. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The hammock was the favorite spot of all. Here you can relax surrounded by great nature.

The house is beautiful, very comfortable for large groups. It is super close to downtown and far enough away to feel in nature. 10/10.

My pup and I had a great stay at the Jungle Casa. Abby and Naechi were extremely responsive and flexible with my changing needs. The house is just far enough outside of San Juan where you don’t have the noise of traffic or parties but you’re still a quick drive in to the action if you want it. Remanso beach is right up the road and was always super peaceful and great for sunsets. Surf is fun there as well!

An excellent place to rest and spend time with the family.

Great spot just outside of town. Our family spent a week here and went to lots of different beaches and events all around San Juan del sur. Glad we found a peaceful spot but still close to everything. Thanks for the stay.

I loved my stay here! From meeting Alvaro at the Pali to the amenities and location of the house, everything was outstanding! Any questions or communication I had with Abby was answered immediately, but the house was so well equipped an instructions were great, so there was really nothing to question at all. The house has so much space and the bedrooms all have AC, so it is very roomy and comfortable inside, but the rooftop patio cannot be beat! It is huge, so there is so much space to do anything! My favorite was drinking a morning tea at the bar over looking the jungle. Then doing some yoga on the yoga mats provided followed by reading my book in the hammock. The location cannot be beat as it is right in the middle between town, which is filled with amazing restaurants and adorable shops, and one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to with the perfect waves for surfing!! But the best part was always returning home at the end of the day to the peace and quiet of Junglecasa!

jungle house is exactly as described in the offer, the house manager is very friendly and gave us the precise instructions, it is not in the center of San Juan but if very close if you go by vehicle, the house was spotless, super satisfied, super satisfied, thank you 🙏 😃

Nestled between a pair of hills, between "coyoles" and "poporos" is the casita de la jungle. Simply unique, sweet and quiet with an open and beautiful view. A place to remember.

The Jungle Casa is a beautiful refuge on the outskirts of San Juan. Removed from the congestion and noise of town you will enjoy a rural environment and watch a wide variety of birds from the rooftop deck. Abby provided everything we needed to know to get to know the surrounding beaches and the town. The house is spacious and would accommodate a large family, yoga retreat, surfing friends or small class. Two kilometers to a beautiful, off the beaten track beach with three fun cabana restaurants, surfing schools, and Nica life. Sunrise, sunset great to chill on the deck.
