A quick visit to La Fortuna, and the location of the house allowed us to quickly access the activities we had targeted. Plus, the place was perfect for relaxing with the family at the end of the day! All amenities are within walking distance, so it's super convenient! Finally, the host was available quickly to answer all our questions!

This was a great place to stay for our first visit to Costa Rica with our 7month old, 7, 9, 10 and two grandpas. The location is great if you want to be able to walk to things. Our host was super responsive and helped me book transportation from the airport and to our next stop. She also set up zip lining for us with less than 24 hours notice. The kitchen was well stocked with basics and there was plenty of hand soap available! I’ll agree sometimes it was loud in the neighborhood but nothing abnormal for a city neighborhood. We would definitely book here again and suggest others do too!

The host was great and responsive. House was good value and good base for a jam-packed itinerary. Dont know that we’d spend extended time at the house itself. Boho Chic is a decent homebase for exploring La Fortuna — centrally located, close to everything, and exactly what you’d expect from a typical Costa Rican house. Kitchen well stocked, all AC units worked, and the location puts you minutes from all major activities. A few things to flag: one queen mattress (far corner room) had no spring support and slept at a slant. We also experienced a ceiling leak in that same room during heavy rain — early July is rainy season so worth knowing. The lighting was not ideal, many lamps had no light bulbs and those that had the light was so faint that they would not be sufficient on their own. No functional lighting in the garage where the laundry room is. The neighborhood felt slightly off on the drive in via the backroad. Missing coffee filters on arrival — bring your own.

The location was perfect for what we were looking for. The furthest we drove was 20 minutes to El Choyin, but everything else was within a 10 minute drive (waterfalls, restaurants, hot springs, coffee, ripe swing, shopping, etc.). The home was large, clean, and the utilities worked wonderfully. The host did a nice job of creating a sense of privacy while being in town. Noisy at times, yes, but expected for the location. The host was very proactive and communicative! So nice! We literally booked it same day we were going to arrive and we had no issues. Would definitely stay here again!

Thanks for the lovely stay! This home accommodated my group of 7 friends and was conveniently close to shops, restaurants, activities, and the arenal volcano.

We booked this house for a last minute trip to La Fortuna and we were very pleased! The space would be big enough for two families - and was more than enough for our family of 5. The property is very walkable - you can get into downtown La fortuna in 5 short minutes. It’s next to a cute soda with delicious food - and across the street from a small hotel. It felt very safe as many families and school children walked the route each morning. There is even a free shuttle to the Volcano that stops right across the street! I would highly recommend this property.

We had an excellent experience over the weekend. The host was very friendly and was always attentive and communicative, which made everything much easier from the start. The house is very spacious, comfortable and was impeccably clean. We were 7 adults, and the space worked perfectly for all of us, as it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. What's more, it's a very safe and quiet place, ideal for resting after a day of sightseeing in La Fortuna. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!
