Great place with a big and beautiful house.

We loved staying at Pablo's place! It's centrally located in La Cruz and it was very easy to get to nearby beaches. The house had a two car garage, which was great. The house itself was charming, well decorated, and very clean. The backyard patio was really pleasant and we spent a lot of time sitting out enjoying the view of the backyard. Pablo was a great host, too! Very responsive & helpful. We'll definitely stay again if we're back in La Cruz!

we have been travelling inCosta Rica for the past5 weeks this was definitely a highlight A unique 2 storey house one of the oldest in Ls Cruz, lots of space , well equipped and a lovely wild garden, wood turtles under the house , interesting bird life..a real treat of a stay. Next door is Roberto who manages the house and is also a local guide. we couldn't praise him highly enough and with him we had our best wildlife trips so far. it feels a long way from the crowded tourist areas, if you enjoy seeing the real Costa Rica this is the place for you

We loved our stay in this unique old house. All the thriving indoor plants made me feel right at home and the patio and yard were lovely to relax in any time of day. Plenty of food and grocery options within walking distance and a short drive to several beautiful and peaceful beaches. The kitchen had all the basic things we needed for our stay and Pablo was very responsive and accommodating.

It's an old house, but is perfect for staying. You have everything you need and the location is close to everything you could want. Check in was easy and simple. We stayed an entire week and the house IS suitable for pets, which was very important to me. Cleaning service was great too. Loved this place. Pablo was very attentive and clear while communicating.

•An old and cozy house with bohemian decor that gives it a modern touch. My favorite part: the courtyard that is very large and beautiful, full of nature where you can relax. It's also perfect for pets. •The house is equipped with everything you need for a long stay. •In the heart of the village of La Cruz. Close to restaurants, pharmacies, gas stations, and viewpoints with incredible ocean and mountain views. • There is a grocery store near the house (in the village they call it La Joca), here they sell tortillas palmeadas and curd, typical local foods and an infaltable. •Despite being downtown, there is not much noise and at 10 pm everything is completely silent. I would definitely come back, because my family and I had an amazing time.

This beautiful wooden house is amazing and peaceful. It’s perfectly located walking distance from many delicious restaurants, shops, groceries and a quick drive to the beach. I spent two months here the summer of 2025 and enjoyed every minute, I had guests visiting and loved showing them around La Cruz. Pablo was such an amazing host who always kept me updated on things happening in the city and solved any questions within minutes. The backyard is home to many turtles and lizards a beautiful bonus to my trip. The front of the house you experience the small town come to life but the backyard feels like its own oasis away from it all. I loved my time here and hope one day I’ll be back.

The house is old and wooden, which gives it a unique and nostalgic personality. It is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you would expect from a BnB. It has a very large garden space where our pet could explore and feel free. An excellent experience. We would come back again.

Excellent location to be able to move around. Super useful as a base to get to know Bahía Salinas, the national parks and any other hidden attractions. The place has a large and nice internal patio. Excellent to be with family or friends!

We were a group of 5 friends, we were all satisfied with the place, the location is very central, with a restaurant in front that is very pleasant, 300 meters from the house there is an incredible viewpoint, Pablo's attention was excellent, his cousin was also very friendly. We definitely hope to be back in the middle of the year.

Fantastic terrace with turtles in the garden and spacious, well-equipped kitchen. At night (as announced in the listing) quite noisy until about 11 pm, you are right at the center of town. We stayed there for 4 nights (with a 5-year-old child) and felt comfortable.

the lodging is super-centric, everything is less than 100 meters away. there are supermarkets, bakeries, food sales, etc. everything you need is just a few steps away, I love the accommodation, there is nothing to ask of you,it is a spacious house, illuminated with natural light, full of details, that make you feel at home. A place to definitely return.

Charming place with a lot of character We stayed in this old house and it was a wonderful experience. It has all the amenities necessary for a pleasant stay. The house is pleasant, comfortable and perfectly ventilated, which makes it very pleasant at all times. Something we really loved was the clarity of the space - natural light comes in everywhere, which creates a warm and cozy atmosphere. Also, the location could not be better as it is in the middle of La Cruz.
