We loved staying at Villa Menara. The location was great - close to some outstanding restaurants and central to everything we wanted to do. The area was very quiet and private, with easy parking. We felt safe walking around and hanging out. The only disappointment was the pool. It is so pretty but was on the colder side and full of leaves even though it was cleaned regularly. Our family enjoyed the rooftop plunge pool, a great hangout spot and respite from the heat. Overall a wonderful stay in Tulum!

The place is very nice, but unfortunately our vacation went south pretty fast. My daughter became very ill and it essentially negated any semblance of a vacation. That said, the host couldn't have been more understanding and helpful throughout. They helped us get a doctor and even gave us a refund when we needed to fly back home early. Nonetheless, I still give them 5 stars for responsiveness, proactiveness, thoughtfulness and humanity. All things I believe this world could use a lot more of right now.

Absolutely loved our stay at Villa Menara!

Perfection. That's what this Airbnb is. From Raquel's responsiveness to any questions, to the house manager Ari's helpfulness, to the private chef services provided by Jorge with Manuel's team, to our amazing driver Erick getting us anywhere we needed to go, all the way to the friendly housekeeper. The property itself was stunning. We loved the beauty of the lower pool surrounded in lush greenery. The upper pool area was so peaceful and a perfect place for morning coffee or to catch some afternoon sun. It is set in a quiet, safe area that is walkable to many amazing restaurants and convenience stores. We would recommend this Airbnb to anyone and everyone! You will be thrilled with your choice!!

We stayed for my bachelorette & Our villa was amazing and the exact thing you want when staying in Mexico. The architecture really added to the vibe! The walls and outdoor areas were truly beautiful and the staircase made it the PERFECT photo shoot! Ari was always responsive even going the extra mile to have groceries delivered! One downfall was the outdoor pool downstairs- the courtyard is absolutely beautiful and me and my girls loved being out there with how peaceful and tranquil - but bc of all the greenery the pool just remained a little cloudy & leafy and because it doesn’t get sun it was cold but when I say that was the least of our worries because the whole villa was beautiful. The downstairs is the perfect place to host as we had a chef and bartender and being all in one area truly added to the feel. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Raquel’s place was great and looked exactly like the photos. The space fit 6 people comfortably and every room had its own private bathroom. Ari the property manager was awesome, he walked us through everything as soon as we got there and was very responsive with help and recommendations throughout the entire trip. The house is on a secluded road so we definitely felt safe being away from the main road and it was easy for cabs to find us. I’ll also mention that they fully stocked up with soda, beer and water which was great! We had an early flight in and a late flight back home, they were extremely flexibility with check in and check out time which took away a lot of stress on us. Would definitely recommend this booking and if I were to come back to Tulum i’d definitely stay here again.

House was amazing. Thanks for the help arranging everything we wanted to do. Kitchen was super stocked and had the cutest cups (that can opener could use replacing). The back dirt roads aren’t even a big deal, you bounce around for a street to two and then it’s smooth again. Double pool option was fantastic, in the mornings the first floor pool would be a little chilly so we would go to the roof top until it warmed up (it always did). My only issues were that i kept getting ants in the master bedroom. They were kinda just traveling through every night, nothing was dirty so guess it’s just part of the area. By night three they were my “pequeños animales”…. Still have to figure out how to say ants in Spanish haha. Also the master shower didn’t get warm at all, which wasn’t really a problem because there is SO many bathroom. It actually helped me discover the rooftop shower- i highly recommend this one- it has the best water pressure. Thanks for everything! I’ll always recommend you!

Raquel's home is beautiful and well kept. Host was always super responsive and proactive with any requests. Received so many great recommendations locally and helped connect me with other services that I needed. For instance I wanted decor prior to arrival and they helped facilitate that! It is located in the central part of Tulum, which is so convenient for restaurants, nightlife, or excursions. Home was so much better than the photos. Really well spaced out for a group. Would definitely come back!

The Villa was exactly as described and provided a nice and peaceful haven for after our adventures around Tulum. We came as a party of 5 and all rooms were nice and spacious. The Villa itself had plenty of room to chill out, whether it be in the nicely air conditioned kitchen, or on the roof terrace (my personal favourite!). The area of La Valeta had plenty of bars and restaurants. We were amazed by the friendliness of locals, waiters and owners. The food was always exceptional no matter where we went, but a special mention has to to Tres Galeones which was our second home during our stay. As Raquel mentioned, a form of transport is needed if you want to get about. We opted for E-Bikes from Paradise Rentals which, with a top speed of 45km/hr, were fine for getting back and to the beach district during the day / evening. If you want a top standard Villa and are a fan of peace and quiet after a busy day adventuring / exploring the many bars, then this is the place for you!
