great stay. close to airport

The house is as shown in the photos, and it has everything you need for a quiet stay. Carolina was very friendly and very helpful at all times. This stay is highly recommended.

Carolina's place was only 12min from the airport. Perfect for staying the night you get in or the night before your flight. Tasty restaurants walking distance away. The bedrooms are on the second floor and the garage was a bit small, but we had a large vehicle. It has everything you need and felt very roomy and spacious. Carolina was very nice.

Excellent!!!!!! My family and I needed a place to stay before flying and this was perfect. The place was gorgeous, super duper clean, comfortable, and well prepared. I am grateful I found Carolina’s place and can recommend to any big families looking at it. I found it to be full of light despite being in a city and the birds in the morning were so peaceful. very close to the airport and a great starting point for exploring the parks above San Jose

The apartment is fully furnished and has all the amenities. The host Carolina was always super friendly and willing to help. It is inside a residential complex with a gate and security, which makes it super safe. The apartment is located a few blocks from the Alajuela stadium, which would be a good option for groups of friends who want to come to see the league games. But it is also close to parks and shops. It has 3 bedrooms, the master with its huge bathroom, the 3 super comfortable bedrooms also have a garage. Anyway If you need a large space, and with a good location in Alajuela, this apartment meets all the requirements. I would definitely stay with Ms. Carolina again.

We had a little bit of a problem finding Carolina’s place. The first location she sent didn’t seem to work in the Uber driver’s GPS. I felt awful contacting her because our delayed flight had us arriving at her place at 3 am. However, she responded immediately with a new GPS location and it worked. She was up when we arrived to make sure we got in. She was extremely gracious and responsive! And, her place is beautiful.

This was a great place to stay! Our group had six people, with four of us getting our own beds and two sharing. The place was clean and organized, and our host was great about communicating check-in/out instructions. Also, it is located only about 10 minutes from the airport, which is great if you are flying out the next day. Would definitely recommend!

Very clean, spacious, comfortable place very close to the airport. We were coming down from the sand and it helped us a lot for the last night before leaving for our country. Very close walking to the Alajuela soccer stadium, we were able to see a game. The hostess is very kind and helpful.

Great place in a great location. Just what we needed as a last stop before we finished our holiday in Costa Rica. The washer / dryer were very welcome and the house location is very close to many good restaurants.

This was a first time staying with Carolina and a last minute reservation. We were so happy to find such a great house! We felt right at home and we were happy to find a house with 3 bedrooms for the price. The house is located in a safe gated community. Also, we appreciated the well organized kitchen and the high quality mattresses and bedsheets. Finally, Carolina was very kind to offer us a late check out. This will become our new favourite for staying in Alajuela and we will definitely encourage our guests arriving at the airport to choose this location.

I could see myself happily LIVING here. I felt right at home. Everything I could ask for was available. The kitchen was well-stocked with tools and dishes for cooking. The beds were comfortable and the linens were of good quality. Nice hot shower. The small outdoor space in the back is great. Beautiful green grass. Nice potted plants, plus comfy chairs and a table to sit and eat or read. Carolina was very kind and easy to communicate with.

Safe and convenient location by the airport without the airport noise

This place is great to stay in and we stayed here for about 3 months. We would have stayed more, but we wanted to explore the rest of Costa Rica. However, we would be back again if we came back to San Jose. The house location is very convenient, most things are within walking distance. Lots of parks for the kids to enjoy. I would recommend renting this Airbnb out to anybody, especially with children. It is a super safe place to live and walk around. This is a gated community with 24/hours security. I have seen people walk around late at night without any issues. The host is a wonderful lady, she went over and beyond her duties to make us feel welcome. Any questions or help we needed, she was there for us. She is super nice and very knowledgeable about places to visit and restaurants to try. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

Great, clean, safe place close to grocery stores and coffee shops. It’s across the street from a great playground for kids. To find it, we needed to use the gooogle maps link provided in the instructions

Caroline’s place is a great spot in a secure community, so we felt very safe! The place was very neat, well kept and perfect for our one night stay after a long flight!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Extremely clean and safe. The neighborhood was gated and there was a garage to park in. Carolina was beyond kind and accommodating. She was always there to help or offer good recommendations when we needed her.

My family only stayed one night after flying in to the San Jose airport. The space was perfect to accommodate all of us and it was convenient to have everyone under one roof. The location is very convenient to the airport.

Lovely place to stay, near the airport and in the city.

We went to a football game against Los Angeles Football Club, we had a few blocks left from the stadium. It was a perfect place. Everything is very clean and comfortable. Carolina met us that day and we also saw it several times during the week. Very friendly. I even allow friends to park in our place when we return our car. Everything is very quiet and perfect for sleeping. Very comfortable beds and good quality towels. Super happy with our stay there. Thank you.

I am from the area and for special reasons I used the accommodation, that is why I can say exactly that the place where the accommodation is located is a safe, central residential (you can walk to the city center) and it is a cozy stay, with spacious rooms. Excellent option!

We stayed at Carolina’s place for two nights as a pit stop in the way to Jaco. It was private and secure, and we felt safe while staying there. There is plenty of space for a family of 5-6. Carolina was very accommodating and always responsive. The laundry room is an added bonus. Thank you for everything!

Carolina’s place is excellent! Very nice apartment with multiple bedrooms conveniently located not far from the airport. While it can be hard to find, this is no fault of Carolina as her directions are quite thorough. Instead, it is a fault of a lack of street signs in Costa Rica in general. Despite that, everything else was absolutely perfect and we would highly recommend people stay here!

The house is very clean, everything is in order, a lot of space, and Carolina is very attentive and an excellent host. Very well located, 5 minutes by Uber to Maxi Pali, or any restaurant or store in Alajuela.

We slept in comfy beds and we found all we need in the kitchen to make our meals. Better than expected.

Nice place to stay and close to airport. The place is in a gated community which is a part of a bigger area. It was nice to be able to walk around. We found a little Peruvian restaurant that had probably the best ceviche we’ve ever had. Would recommend.

This place is in a perfect location close to the airport-a quick 5-10 minute drive. The house was very clean and quiet. We were perfectly comfortable for the night we stayed. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions. A wonderful experience overall.

Carolina’s place is spacious, clean and has everything you would need for a great stay. It is a good base if you want to visit San Jose as well as the Poas Volcano / La Paz Garden area. Communication with Carolina was always quick and easy. She was also kind enough to let us check-out late as our flight was delayed. We would definitely recommend her place.

Carolina's place was great! With secure off-street parking, you can enjoy Alajuela by foot. Less than a 10-minute walk to bars, grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. On the northside of town, it's also easy to get out of the city to explore the countryside and attractions. I highly recommend a night or two here if you arrive late at night at SJO and don't want to drive very far. Don't be confused by the gate at the end of the street. The guard opens it automatically when you drive up. It's a little added security for your stay and minimizes the traffic going up their road. Carolina was also very nice, and since she lives right next door, she's almost always available.

Carolina was an excellent host and the place was great. We stayed the night before our flight out the next morning and couldn’t have been happier. Very quick trip to the airport and walking distance to restaurants and bars. Getting through the security gate and security guard was a bit tricky but we made it. Informed Carolina of this and she took care of us very quickly. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Very comfortable and convenient place to spend the night when arriving in Costa Rica late and needing a place to rest/relax before starting our Costa Rica vacation. Directions from the airport are easy to follow, but be aware that driving (especially in the dark)) is , let’s say, challenging at the very least! Carolina’s place is clean and very comfy. No A/C but the evening cooled down to make sleeping very comfortable. Having a garage for parking a rental car was a plus. Communication with Carolina was excellent. Definitely do not hesitated to book this place if you find yourself needing lodging close to SJO.
