We loved our stay at the beach and Ali's place. Raul was our connection during our stay. He met us for check in and gave us a tour, provided names for who to contact for chairs in the beach and surf lessons, along with other tips for where to eat and find other items we needed. The location was right across the road from the beach and surrounded by great restaurants and a grocery store. The place was comfortable with a kitchen to cook in if you want a night in. There are so many activities to do in this area if you want adventure or you can relax on the beach. We will be visit again!

We loved our time there! It was well cared for and impeccably clean. It was great having Raul to answer any questions and set us up with a beach contact for umbrella and chairs. We had a 5 star experience!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay at The Elephant Castle. The location, cleanliness, spacious accommodations, and convenience were outstanding. The beautiful public beach was just steps away, with affordable beach chair and tent rentals available daily. Restaurants, convenience stores, and the bus stop were all nearby, making it easy to explore Manuel Antonio. Raul was an exceptional host, arranging a fantastic guided wildlife tour in the national park, an incredible ziplining adventure with El Santuario, private airport transportation, and promptly answering all of our questions. We also loved discovering Amora Café, just a short walk toward the national park, with excellent coffee and quick breakfast options. Most of all, we fell in love with Manuel Antonio. The beaches, lush rainforest, abundant wildlife, and natural beauty made it an unforgettable destination. We highly recommend The Elephant Castle as the perfect home base for exploring this great area!

Fantastisch location! great view

Raul met us there and acquainted us with the property and even helped us bring in our luggage. He was great! I was concerned about the location being noisy but it was not at all. Very quiet with the doors closed and very comfortable with the air conditioning. The beach is literally across the street and the monkeys stop by around 3:30-4pm every day - Very cute - We had a great snorkling catamaran tour on the Sea Quest and an amazing Dinner at Emilios one night. We also had an amazing dinner at Baldi's just below the Air B&B. The beach and the sunsets are amazing. We would most definitely stay here again. Thank you so very much for all the hospitality!

We had amazing stay at the condo. The location is perfect for spending a few days close to the beach and many restaurants. We felt very safe walking around and exploring at all times of the day. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect local to enjoy the beach and national parks. Great restaurant right there too. Raul was attentive and readily available to answer any questions or concerns.

The location in Manuel Antonio can’t be beat! Literally steps from the beach, a walking distance to the national park. Raul helped us during our stay and was so helpful for all of our questions. He booked a zip lining tour for us which was a highlight of our trip. Our family loved Pablo and Luis down at the beach for renting chairs/umbrellas, and surf lessons, as well as the best restaurant recommendations and general Costa Rica advice. Pablo is “pura vida” and we are so grateful to have met him! Please note that due to the central location, there will be some noise below the apartment into the evenings, possible construction happening nearby, and traffic noise. We managed ok, but if nighttime noise is an issue for you, just take note! We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect Location for Manuel Antonio! We had a really great stay here. The location is truly unbeatable—being within walking distance to both the public beach and the Manuel Antonio National Park entrance made our daily adventures so easy. It’s also conveniently close to several fantastic local restaurants. A few highlights from our trip: • Atmosphere: While you can hear the vibrant hustle and bustle of the street during the day, the property is surprisingly well-insulated. It was peaceful inside, and we had no issues with noise at night. • The Space: The place was spotless, comfortable, and felt like a true home base. • Communication: The hosts were wonderful—always responsive and genuinely helpful whenever we had questions. While the price point is on the higher end, the convenience factor of not needing a car or a shuttle to get to the park and beach makes it worth the investment. Highly recommended for anyone looking to be in the heart of the action!

Excellent place, would 100% stay again and also they accommodated our request for an early check in. The place is very spacious and the location couldn’t be any better.

If you’re staying in Manual Antonio you won’t be disappointed with this apartment/condo. Perfect location right across the street from the beach. Bet large and comfortable!!
