We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we were looking for a quiet, romantic place. It turned out to be even more perfect than we had imagined. This is honestly the most beautiful and romantic place we’ve ever stayed. The house is stunning, the setting is peaceful and private, and every detail makes it feel truly special. We were genuinely sad to leave. We also really appreciated how responsive and thoughtful Marianna was. We couldn’t have chosen a better place for such a special occasion, and we truly hope to come back one day. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. The house was exactly as pictured and described in the listing, so there were no surprises when we arrived. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. One thing we really appreciated was how welcoming our host was. They met us at the property, gave us a personal tour, and shared a few helpful tips about the area, which was a really nice touch. The location was also excellent. The house felt very private and safe, tucked away from any busy roads, so it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. Our favorite part of the entire stay was waking up one morning to a group of howler monkeys moving through the trees right above the house. Watching them from the patio was an unforgettable experience and easily one of the highlights of our trip. We would love to stay here again!

The place already looked amazing in pictures, but then seeing it in person. WOW!!! Especially when the sun starts setting. AMAZIING!!! Will not regret booking this place, highly recommended! Gorgeous sweeping views and so peaceful. Much needed after being in Tamarindo and Playa Coco. Pool was incredible and the space was perfect for cooking and relaxing in the evenings. Thank you!

What a wonderful property! About 25 minutes drive from Tamarindo, secluded and private. The house is gorgeous, with unique architecture and luxurious furnishings. The layout would be perfect for three couples or a family, as each bedroom has its own full bathroom (2 of which are en suite). The AC units worked well, the beds were comfy, and there was good water pressure. The ocean view and pool were so relaxing, just what we needed to recharge. We saw many butterflies and a few lizards. If you book, be careful to get the owner’s directions first and to take the main road, which requires a 4x4 but is in good condition. Google Maps recommended a private road that is poorly graded, slippery, and impassable at points. Other than an early mixup about directions to the house, Marianna and the property manager Angie were responsive, proactive, and friendly. We especially appreciated their local restaurant and activity recommendations. We’d love to come back one day

Absolutely a dream ! The house is amazing very clean to my high standards, they think of everything you’ll need. The patio and pool area are exactly what you need in that setting-the howler monkey in your backyard are a plus lol. We will absolutely come back to this home. Book it!

Our time at Marianna’s house was so dreamy! I absolutely love the home…it’s even more beautiful than the photos (I couldn’t believe that was possibly). We were able to hunker down and cook meals together, watch sunsets from the pool, shower in the most incredible outdoor shower. Our second morning there the howler monkeys came to visit, they spent about an hour up in the treetops eating flowers. Our stay here was a definite life highlight!! We are already planing to return! Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Pura Vida!!!

We had a memorable stay. Everything was perfect. Well-equipped kitchen. A new BBQ. Clean and inviting pool. The view of the hills and the ocean was absolutely beautiful. We saw monkeys almost every day. The sunsets are super romantic. The water is potable. Very fast internet. The host was very responsive and helpful. It was a 5-star stay that I would highly recommend.

Amazing experience. Shade was super helpful and responsive. I would love to stay again! Highly HIGHLY recommend a 4x4 vehicle for the driveway. Beautiful scenery and wildlife everyday. 11/10.

Air BnB was gorgeous. The beds were comfortable and the entire place was spotless clean. We had an infant and the high chair and pack and play were a life saver. The views from the pool were spectacular. The property is very private and quiet. We enjoyed the animals and birds and sounds of nature. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. The stay was 20 minutes from Tamarindo but we easily navigated with Uber. I highly recommend staying here and hope to be able to return soon.

Marianna’s place is stunning, an architectural gem. Interesting design located on a mountain top with views that go forever. The infinity pool was a great place to hang out in and just let the world go by.
