We were looking for a relaxing beach experience and that’s exactly what we got staying here!!! The staff were so very friendly and fun! The sunsets were perfection. The food at the restaurant plus the ambience was a chill vibe! The room was clean and the shower had strong pressure and hot water. The air conditioner kept us comfortable after a long days outside. We did the following: Sibu animal sanctuary - 30 mins south Cooking class - right next to sibu Deep Sea fishing with Jose - right there Keren and her husband who own the place will help you get anything organized! 🫶

The room was incredible and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Issac helped me with my Spanish which was sweet and helpful. He also gave us info on local attractions and a party going on down the street. I accidentally took my keys when I left and they were cool about it. They told me where to go to mail them back. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and probably the best sunsets around, breakfast was great and the area is much quieter than the other beach towns

There are not enough words to say how amazing this place was. I felt like I was in a dream and the people were so friendly.

We arrived flustered and dusty from the beat-up gravel road. Phone maps miss-pinned the exact location. But! We figured it out; the little cove has few options to compound confusion. A few cold beers righted our dispositions. The entire crew at Rancho Cocobolo is great! All of our meals were fresh. delicious and abundant. Grounds and lodging green, secluded and ellegant simple. Karen has created a wonderful slice of heaven there at San Juanillo and we will return!

We found the quiet, local Tico gem we've been looking for! Romantic, tropical and delightfully delicious. Karen's entire crew are 1st class, loving, caring human beings. We will return!

Cocobolo is s a beautiful spot. We enjoyed the views, night and day. The space was clean and comfortable. The furniture, made from the Cocobolo tree was amazing; unbelievably heavy and very beautiful. We truly enjoyed a magical setting!

Surprise birthday trip for my wife's 60th, and this location was absolutely perfect. With plenty of options to choose from all the way down the coast, I selected Keren's place for the privacy, the elegant room, the inspiring view, the restaurant on-site, and it's proximity to several other great villages and beaches. On all points mentioned, no disappointments, whatsoever! The refreshing drinks were fantastic, the meals were first class, and the prices just right. Keren and her staff are like a family, and they work diligently to make certain everything flows very smoothly during your stay. Go ahead and rent a small SUV for your visit, you'll be glad you did. It's super fun. many of roads are paved, many are not. We had the best time on local drives, and found an 'unmarked' beach access, where we didn't several hours alone on a beautiful Pacific beach! Buy inexpensive folding beach chairs, the sunsets are spectacular!

The place is quite amazing with great views and next to the ocean. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful off the beaten path getaway.

Hello! A very nice, quiet place and excellent location.

I cannot describe how amazing this space is. The room feels brand new and is beautiful. The view from the bed is perfect! The staff was amazing and we were blown away how delicious the food was. I highly recommend staying here. It was worth every penny and we would have paid more!

Cute property, very private and charming. The staff is great, especially Isaac. I would highly recommend for somewhere comfortable and off the beaten path.

The Cocobolo Resort is a lovely spot! The views from our room were beautiful. There are two beaches close by one of which offers a more secluded and serene experience. The staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful in assisting us in our travel plans.
