Beautiful property with a lot to offer. Markus was a kind and responsive host. The pool was nice to cool off in after a long day. Property is quiet and peaceful but only 20 minutes away from town.

5 stars – A Hidden Gem in the Jungle! 🌿🐒🌊 Our stay in Damas, Quepos was unforgettable! The property is nestled in a peaceful, lush setting surrounded by nature—you’ll wake up to the sounds of monkeys, toucans, and even spot frogs, and other animals. The trails, river, and waterfalls on-site offer an incredible way to explore the area without even leaving the property. Markus, Gustavo, and Tulio were outstanding hosts: kind, professional, and incredibly attentive. Their communication was clear and timely, and they truly made our stay special. The location is perfect—close to Manuel Antonio, Bandera, and Palo Seco beaches. Whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation, this place has it all. Highly recommended!

Markus has created a lovely oasis of calm away from the busy surrounding neighbourhoods. This was a perfect stay to help us unwind, relax and take in nature at is purest. Thank you Markus!

The Hacienda Mil Bellezas is a little off the beaten track, but beautifully embedded in nature. Rarely have we been able to enjoy such a facility where you can only hear the sounds of the surrounding nature. The four cottages leave plenty of room for privacy and were very attractively designed as far as our cottage was concerned. The covered open-air dining area by the pool is very nice. In the local kitchen, Markus conjures up very delicious dishes from local ingredients - highly recommended. On the huge grounds you can make beautiful small hiking tours and discover a lot. Markus is a very pleasant and entertaining host with his experience and many tips. We had a lot of fun exchanging ideas with him. We highly recommend staying with him.

Stay here! Your only regret will be that you didn’t stay longer! Absolutely stunning property, wildlife everywhere, completely quiet and relaxing. Ask about breakfast and dinner, turn off your device and melt away into bliss. The trail and waterfalls and swimming spots are worth the hike. And you’ll have it all to yourself! Markus is an excellent host!

We had a wonderful stay- this place is so special. There is much to explore right from the house itself and it’s also an easy drive to Manuel Antonio. Dinner on the patio by the pool is perfection and we had an incredible horseback ride led by Janet! We will definitely be back :) Thank you Markus and everyone at the hacienda for an amazing trip!! A peaceful place, with nice walks around and a very nice swimming pool. Markus is very friendly and accommodating! A very good stay!

Enjoyed the cottage, the horses and the pool. There was a nice hike down to the river and a swimming hole that was very refreshing. We also enjoyed visiting with the other guests.

We had a wonderful stay at Markus's place. When booking he was responsive, gave clear instructions on how to get to the property and when I changed the booking to extend to two nights he helped sort it out. The setting is peaceful and felt off the beaten track though not too far so didn't need a 4WD. My children have rated it their favourite place on our trip and we did the trails around the property/ saw lots of wildlife and visited the waterfalls which were private as no-one there. My daughter and I also went horse-riding with Markus which we thoroughly enjoyed. We enjoyed the pool and took up the option to have dinner each night so it made it very relaxing. A wonderful stay and will be recommending to friends if they visit Costa Rica.

Before coming, we read other guests' feedback and now we can say with all the letters that we matched them: Hacienda Mil Bellezas is a paradise! We really enjoyed the trails and the river pools/pools (it was a dream to swim there), the silence, the pool (the water temperature was spectacular and our 4 year old was delighted), the tranquility.... Markus and those who welcomed us were very friendly, always attentive to us, and gave us good recommendations when we asked for them. The house is very comfortable and is very well equipped (we loved the kitchen in that regard). The beds are comfortable and we slept very well. We recommend the experience!

Markus and the staff were amazing! We arrived with our dog and we were all very well welcomed into the house and property. This is an awesome place, you have lots to do outside to keep yourself entertained! All of the dogs are very friendly we fell in love with Elly, we’re hoping to come back soon!

I would name this A HIDDEN GEM Markus was very quick to answer any questions we had and very sweet and knowledgeable about the plants and surrounding area. The casita had everything we could need, well equipped kitchen and very clean The pool was so clean and fresh in a beautiful surroundings and the side jacuzzi jets were a nice after a hike or horseback ride. I loved seeing the horses outside our casita. We went riding with Markus and the horses to gorgeous natural pools and went swimming. The horses are gentle and well trained. I recommend taking a horseback ride! We also walked to the waterfalls with two amazing natural swimming pools. The path was clearly marked and the upper pool is so cool. Don’t miss the hike. There were 3 dogs which were all so sweet. Our little dog got along with them very well. We saw toucans by the pool each evening. It was nice to have the option of having breakfast or dinner there and we had a couple of tasty dinners. We hope to stay again! Thanks!
