2BR Bungalow in Dominical

Excellent, 2 weeks ago

Simply stunning, that view...... The house is very cool, and very open with the nature, though thoughtful and everything you need. The owners have a hotel as well and they provide a very good level of service, including a concierge and housekeeping. We also dined one evening at their hotel and it was great, for sure recommend! Truly a hidden gem and we definitely come back, i never get enough of all the wildlife!

What a special ocean front property. The beach access road to this area can be a little bumpy for some - we thought it was a fun commute to and from nearby Sandy beaches and surf spots. Must have a higher clearance with 4x4. We had a Suzuki Jimny 4x4, perfect for the area and inexpensive. We were very surprised by how beautiful the property and surroundings were in person. The pictures just don’t do it justice. Very private, life is happening around you every day. We appreciated the solar power and water heater setup. Highly recommended!

Our stay here felt like stepping into a living, breathing postcard. Everything exceeded expectations. The onsite caretaker truly goes above and beyond and Kim/Phil are incredibly responsive and assist w/ activity bookings. The property itself is something special. Monkeys, birds, coatis, agoutis, and many other wildlife appear every day. The setting is remote in the best possible way. It’s peaceful, unplugged, and perfect for relaxing, yet still accessible enough to walk to nearby beaches and resorts/restaurants. The home is very clean and our family of four had plenty of room to spread out and still come together comfortably. For such a remote location, we were pleasantly surprised by how well the WiFi/phone service worked. A 4x4 or all-wheel drive vehicle is recommended for getting around if you like to venture out. This place delivers exactly what it promises: an authentic, wildlife-rich rainforest experience with comfort and a touch of magic. We’re already planning our next visit.

Kim’s home is the perfect place among paradise. If you love nature, and just being in a beautiful place this is it. The home is comfy, we were a group of 4 and had enough space to relax. There are beautiful beaches walking distance, and enjoyed some of the places nearby. It’s absolutely stunning. We made sure to get some stuff at the store ahead of time and the kitchen was equipped to host us. The one warning is the road to get there is rough but slow and steady as well as 4wd and you will get there without trouble. I cannot wait to come back to this place.

We booked 6 Peces as our first stay in Costa Rica. The pictures attracted us to the property but upon arrival, it exceeded our expectations. It’s a truly authentic, magical place that is off the beaten track, very peaceful and convenient for hiking to the waterfall, general hiking in the rainforest and a short walk to a wonderful beach that was swimmable. We travelled with two kids and appreciated the treehouse and man lodge to provide an epic experience for the whole family. Walking up to the view to the ocean and jungle every morning for the whole family was priceless. The amenities were exceeding our expectations of an off grid property. The property keeper was kind and helpful and also available as needed- it felt very private but also we knew we could get help if required. We definitely want to return one day and would recommend to anyone that is seeking an authentic and peaceful retreat in the heart of possibly the best place in the world.

Spectacular stay and experience. My partner and I spent a week at seis peces. We experienced tremendous beauty, serenity, and hospitality during our stay. Kim consistently goes above and beyond in every way as a host. Her property is absolutely magnificent and unlike anything we have experienced! We enjoyed several dinners and a catamaran cruise through her lodge, Bosque. Overall a 5/5 experience. We would have stayed longer but there was a booking after 7 night! We are very grateful for the time we spent here.

I could simply echo all the glowing reviews from previous guests of 6 Peces. It truly was the most beautiful Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Wakam (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly), the onsite property manager, was an absolute delight. He was exceptionally kind, helpful, and generous with his knowledge of the surrounding area, which made our experience even more meaningful and immersive. Basque del Cabo Rainforest Lodge was equally incredible. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Somehow, they remembered our names from the very first meeting, which made us feel especially welcome. We enjoyed several activities at the lodge, along with multiple meals—all of which were delicious. There are also numerous hiking options, offering beautiful ways to explore and fully appreciate the rainforest setting.

Our expectations were high but they were far exceeded ! ! The house is perfect for a family with 2 bungalows and a small house to the caretaker at the entrance who was friendly but discreet and even brought us fresh coconuts. The house itself has the best location ever literally on the water andin the jungle at the same time (you can get in the water from the garden and swim safely to backwash beach). We saw daily from the deck various monkeys/agutis/scarlett macaws/couatis and more ! But the best was to be welcomed by Kim and her family at their eco lodge where we walked nature trails, had lunches, went to the pacific beaches, tidal pools and waterfalls together. It’s a piece of paradise !

Wow! This place is beyond what you could ever expect. We enjoyed two nights and three full days at this stunning property. From start to finish I cannot say enough how spectacular this piece of paradise is. To top it off hosts Kim and Phil along with their incredible staff make it a one of a kind experience. We were welcomed up to their nature lodge just 10 mins away. We enjoyed a stunning dinner and drinks and met some of their staff and guests who all knew us by name and provided so many suggestions on what to see and do. We ventured two of the lodges trails and relaxed in the pool on occasion. Highly recommend exploring their property especially the Pacific Trail it is an opportunity of a life time with tide pods, beautiful beach and a secluded waterfall! It’s a must see. At the cottage we enjoyed morning coffee with the macaws and monkeys. The sunrise is the perfect way to wake up and start the day. Hammocks with a glass of wine were the best way to end the day. Pura Vida!
