Paradise. Enough said. Thank you Jim, for making such an incredible place affordable not just for the ultra-wealthy. This felt like such a gift to get to stay at a place of this caliber. Words cannot accurately describe just how beautiful it is, and the pictures cannot capture it either. Our jaws were dropped when we arrived.

This was our second time visiting Jim’s place. It is such a special property, surrounded by nature. Jim did an incredible job designing and landscaping his home. There are native fruit trees that surround it. Every sunset Tucans visit the property, and we were lucky enough to see Howler monkeys in the distance. This property fills our cup and we hope to return in the future. While we love visiting Domincalito and the laid back beaches, our favorite thing to do while visiting is lounge at Jim’s and take in the beautiful landscape. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

Incredible place, we didn’t want to leave! The outdoor space is a dream! We hung out at the pool, napped on the outside bed, had dinner at the outside table and watched the sunset from the pool. My friend slept in the outdoor bed every night. The inside was great as well, we kept the windows open at night and were thankful for the screens that kept bugs out. We had 0 bug problems, which is rare in Costa Rica! It’s an immersive jungle experience, but not to be missed. I highly recommend this place, we will be back!

Satisfied, great view, helpful host

Definitely my favorite Airbnb I've ever stayed in: the views, the pool, the location, the wild animals! We especially enjoyed the huge outdoors area which made it possible to live outside even when it was raining. Communication with Jim was super easy, we were warmly welcomed by Franklin and his family and the kitchen has everything you need to cook for yourself. Muchas gracias, we hope to be back one day!

This property surpassed our expectations for our 2 1/2 week stay. The house itself is clean and simple, with basic kitchen supplies, two-burner stove, towels, etc. Not a lot of extras. But there is enough and we enjoyed cooking there. We also slept very well. And the outside space, as has been described by others, is stunning and what made the visit so special. We felt we were in a private paradise, and enjoyed the pool, the outdoor showers, the tranquility, the occasional wildlife sightings and the breathtaking views. The location was great for us, since we enjoyed Dominical and several other nearby beaches. The one caveat is: best to arrive for the first time in daylight. We had a hard time on a rainy night and didn't realize it would take up to 10 minutes in our 4x4 to get up the winding, rutted mountain approach road. The caretaker, Franklin, came and guided us up the final leg. Finally, Jim is very communicative and we look forward to coming back. Pura Vida!

Couldn’t ask for a better view from Jim’s place! You will for sure need 4x4 vehicle to get up the steep road to the house. Totally worth the drive off the beaten path. Franklin, the caretaker was very welcoming and helpful upon arrival. Overall great experience, would recommend.

Jim’s place was amazing, a perfect private getaway with an amazing view. We loved everything about the place, especially sleeping outside. The WiFi was super strong, and reliable (we did loose power a few nights for 5 minutes or so but it always kicked back on). I will say you NEED a 4x4 at the very least. The road up to the house is a gravel road basically up a mountain. We were here during rainy season and didn’t have any issues but we were very careful about not returning to the house during heavy rain or super late at night. We did have a neighbor to help us if anything went wrong tho. Jim was super good at communicating and his place was overall incredible, the amenities, animals, property, and quiet was everything we could ask for and more. We could not recommend this place enough.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jim's place. We practically lived out on the patios enjoying the view and watching the the birds and monkeys.

Jim's place is a tropical paradise. Soak in the incredible ocean views from an infinity pool as you watch the sunset and listen to toucans sing. Help yourself to the wonderful fruit trees on the beautifully maintained property. The caretaker is extremely friendly and helpful and we felt right at home from the moment we walked in. 10/10 would recommend to anyone interested in Dominicalito, near great surf, a wonderful cafe and restaurant, a beautiful waterfall, and close to Dominical and Uvita.

The property is in the mountain with a beautiful view to the beach. The house is simple but had everything that we needed. The terrace and pool are what make this place so special. We had a great time and would definitely recommend!

This was such a magical place! Breathtaking views pool and outdoor area was fantastic . Exotic bugs would greet us at night on the screen it was cool To look at! If your a nature lover I highly recommend it was an adventure of a lifetime , we drove down and surfed at dominical and did some tours there are at local Resturaunt s I recommend going to La parcela Resturaunt it was a 360 ocean view Resturaunt near by. We were greeted by cute kids and a friendly dog during our stay they showed us around the home when we got there they really made the trip feel special . Mahalo aloha 🌺 Pura vida 🤙
