We had an amazing stay at Ophelia's Villa. The house is beautiful, goes above and beyond on amenities for guests, and has a wonderful onsite team in Ms. Ida and Anthony. The house is really a gem and we look forward to staying here again when we revisit Belize in the future.

Ophelia’s Villa was the most incredible place to stay for our little family getaway. We wanted seclusion for our family to rest, recharge, and reconnect… Ophelia’s Villa offered all that and more! We were traveling with a 12 year old and a 4 year old so the amenities were perfect with kids. The pool was shallow enough for half of it that our 4yo could touch and swim easily and there was no shortage of games and things to do at the house. We fished from the dock, kayaked, and spent much of the days poolside. On day 1 our 4yo saw a spotted eagle ray from the dock so that set the tone for the great week we would have. We had Ms. Ida cook for us one evening and bake a delicious cake (highly recommend both). The little touches like hair ties in the bathroom, robes on the bed, and the outdoor shower stocked with shampoo for after swimming were excellent. If you’re looking for kid-friendly luxury without a crowd, Ophelia’s is your place.

We have a family of 7 and all were very comfortable in this house. The house has a great pool which we enjoyed every day and plenty of activities for the kids like fishing, kayaking, darts, horseshoes, games, and a gym. It was great. The kitchen was clean and very easy to use and was stocked with all the utensils we needed. The bedrooms were nice and spacious and the house was comfortable and cool during the heat of the day. There was regular cleaning and gardening services throughout the week with fresh towels for the pool and bathrooms. We elected chef prepared meals a few times, which were excellent. Would definitely come back.

Staying here was the highlight of our trip to Belize! The space was absolutely stunning, sparkling clean, and even better than the photos. We loved the location—it was the perfect balance of being close to the action while still feeling like a private tropical oasis. 🌴✨ Our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They provided incredible local recommendations for food and tours that really made our vacation special. The communication was seamless from start to finish, and every little detail in the home was so thoughtful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Loved our stay in Placencia. The hosts are great communicators and really helpful from start to finish. We loved the pool, kayaks, and beautiful peaceful setting. You definitely need a car to get around because most shops and restaurants are a drive away.

Not only was the place absolutely perfect, but the host and caretakers were proactive and responsive. Definitely hope to be back.

This was such a wonderful Airbnb experience. Ophelia’s villa truly felt like luxury living, with so many thoughtful touches throughout the entire place. The staff felt like family—the pool attendant, maintenance, and Ida the chef were all incredible, and the extra amenities made our stay even more special. We traveled with three kids (ages 5, 2.5, and 7 months), and the villa was absolutely perfect for our family. Comfortable, welcoming, and so well cared for—we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Stays like this one are the reason Air BnB is such a popular app today. 10 Stars - I’d argue this is probably the best Airbnb you can find in Placencia. Hosts are quick and communicative, also very accommodating. The house it’s self it beautiful and has an amazing outdoor space. I could go on and on but I don’t like super long reviews. So I’ll save you time, book here!

Our family of five loved our stay at Ophelia's place during Christmas! Beautiful private property with access to the lagoon side of the peninsula. Wonderful pool and outdoor game area. Home was in pristine condition with a stocked kitchen for all of our culinary creations. Mini split A/C units were a treat as well! Local management, Luti, was fantastic! He welcomed us to the property and gave some solid recommendations for dining and beach access. We had one meal prepared by the local cook and it was our favorite during our entire stay! She did an amazing job even when the power went out in town! The lagoon was fun to explore in the kayaks and our son landed a nice tarpon from the pier! It was recommended to not swim in the lagoon which was unfortunate but it provided a beautiful back drop from the home. Having a rental car or golf cart is recommended to get into town or the nearby restaurants. Highly recommend to those considering staying here!

We had a great stay at Ophelia’s Villa! Heather was extremely helpful in sending us all the information we needed ahead of time to plan our trip as well as book some excursions and services. Her guide was also helpful in preparing for how to communicate, navigate and pay for things in Belize. The villa itself is gorgeous and you can spend all day just enjoying the lagoon view. The first morning there we saw a brilliant rainbow stretching over the water. We were there for 5 nights and weren’t even able to enjoy all the relaxing chairs/hammocks/loungers set out for guests. The private pool was a huge highlight especially for the kids. The kitchen was well supplied and we cooked most of our meals at the villa. Heather was also helpful in guiding us where to buy fresh fish. Beds were super comfortable and clean. The AC and fans worked great to keep the place cool. We also used Ida for babysitting one day and she did a wonderful job with our two young kids! Highly recommend!

Our stay at this Belize villa was absolutely amazing! The view was breathtaking, and the house was spotless and beautifully maintained. Ms. Ida’s cooking was superb — every meal was delicious and full of local flavor. Mr. Luti was so welcoming and kind; thanks to him, we even caught our very first fish! Heather was wonderful — she checked in on us regularly and shared great tips that made our stay even better. We truly felt welcomed and at home. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back!

This place was absolutely beautiful and we felt right at home. The bonus of having a local chef come in and cook for us took it to the next level! Would definitely book again when visiting Belize!

This was an absolutely wonderful and luxurious stay. The house was super clean, and the property was beautiful. The local caretaker, Luti, was great—he even took our kids fishing in the lagoon, which they loved. The hosts were fantastic, easy to communicate with, and provided immediate assistance whenever we needed it. The place is huge and very accommodating, with full entertainment for both adults and kids. Ophelia's Villa was outstanding. Our family had the best week there. The home, pool, view and surrounding area was perfect. There were restaurants, bars, beach clubs and so many wonderful people to give recommendations on where to go. We had massages with Lisa, an excursion to Moho Caye with Dtours, Ms. Ida made us an amazing dinner one night. We kayaked the Lagoon a couple times. Saw all kinds of sea life. Highly recommend and we hope to go back someday soon!!

Words cannot describe how wonderful Ophelia’s Villa is! We loved every second of this beautiful property. The house was absolutely beautiful and Heather and Luti were great hosts! It’s about 20 minutes from the main area, but worth the drive. I would 100% stay here again. 10/10 recommend!!
