It's a quiet place, very well equipped, plus the host had quick answers to questions. I had a nice vacation with my family and my pet, I would definitely go again.

We’ve stayed in some wonderful Airbnbs, but this was by far my favorite experience. It’s one of those rare places so special you almost want to keep it a secret. The view alone was breathtaking, watching the sun melt into the Pacific Ocean past the mountains each evening, with a steady breeze and the luxury of cooling off in the private pool, making every day both supremely comfortable and unforgettable. Oscar was an exceptional host: communicative, flexible, and genuinely kind. The space itself was fantastic, but his easygoing, friendly, and attentive nature truly elevated the entire stay. Thank you so much Oscar!

A very quiet, safe and private place, an excellent view of the Pacific and its surroundings, the pool, the house is well equipped, a good area to disconnect from the city for a while.

Oscar and Nelson are excellent hosts, the house allows absolute flexibility, unbeatable view, great large pool. There is a Tico kitchen and a typical bathroom. Those who are afraid of harmless small animals will learn to overcome their fear.

Great place to relax and take a break. Beautiful view, pool is increible and place is equipped with all necessary things. Besides, great and fluent communication with host (Oscar). Full recommended!

Stunning view. Great house for big parties (even though we were just 3). Oscar was great - super responsive, helpful, and interesting to talk to. Atenas (the near-by town) is also relatively nice. Driving to San Jose on a daily basis also feasible and fun.

Every sunset in this place is truly a magical experience. We really loved everything about it. :)

Oscar was a great host! His hospitality and instant responsiveness was excellent. Our flight got in late, so he offered to pick us up some groceries to hold us off until the next day. He made it a point to be at the location to meet us, even though it was late. He recommended a driver to pick us up at the airport, which was extremely helpful. Oscar greeted us with the utmost respect and the location was absolutely stunning. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Oscar!!

The place was beautiful just as described in the pictures. The best part is the pool and its surroundings. really calm place. The only thing is you cant have the music blasted because neighbors work from home and they will ask you to lower it even if its during normal hours described in the rulebook.

The place is not fancy, but elegant nonetheless with that view and pool-huge windows to feel like in a tree house. Would have stayed longer, but others beat us to it. Oscar is full of info about so many things-fun to chat with. We would love to return someday.

Oscar is a terrific host. friendly, helpful, responsive, everything you could want on a host. the property takes a bit to get to and can be a little hard to find. but Oscar will walk through if needed and once there the view is excellent. very peaceful and quiet. short drive to Atena, where you can find anything you need.

It was a pleasant stay: great location, very close to everything, the nature around is surrounded, the kitchen has everything you need, the rooms are simple but very comfortable, the parking is outdoors, with great space, the pool is fantastic and the panoramic view of the mountains is unparalleled.

The place is very quiet, cool, bright. Sunrise and sunset are beautiful, as it has a spectacular view. The pool is spacious, clean and fresh. The house has everything you need to enjoy yourself as a family. The host is very friendly and provides excellent communication.

We have visited several times Orange Hill and each experience is excellent, it is our place to return as a family, good amenities, excellent communication from start to finish. We hope to return soon

The place is very nice, the view is beautiful and the location is relatively close to downtown. Communication with Don Óscar was constant. The only drawback I see is the theme of the entrance gate that does not have independent control and must be requested from Don Oscar for the opening to enter and exit.

What a wonderful place. From the porch/pool area you can see the Pacific coast along with the mountain ranges and it is a beautiful view. The house is tucked away on a hillside, giving you space and privacy, but not too far of a drive from the local town, Atenas. Oscar was a wonderful host. He was very helpful and gave a brief history of the area. He was very respectful of our privacy, but was easily reachable through WhatsApp if we had any questions. He also recommended some places to see. One of which, Manuel Antonio National Park, was a beautiful scenic drive and a great walk through the park to see wildlife. Should we come to this beautiful country again, we will definitely consider staying at Orange Hills.

The location is very good, close to San Jose (less than an hour), very quiet and with an incredible view. The ideal pool for mornings and afternoons. The place has everything you need and Oscar's service is very good.

Wonderful place , super relaxing to be there, we had a wonderful time. The service was excellent from start to finish. Recommended to spend away from everything, in a safe and pleasant environment. (I recommend waking up early and watching the sunrise). The perfect internet, stable, ideal for remote work.

It has an incredible view and pool. Even the pictures don't do it justice. It's really spectacular. The house is very simple but comfortable. It has all the basics. Don Oscar's care and hospitality is amazing. Excellent internet service, excellent bedding cleaning as well. Large bathrooms and everything you need in terms of lighting and ventilation. It is not an completely low car friendly entrance, however it is possible to get there. We were left in the rooms and that scared us a little bit. It is a private and safe place in terms of crime. No noise or interruptions and it's super close to San Jose and the Pacific. Absolutely recommended.
