We came to Panama to visit our grandmother. Juan’s place offered a lovely home away from home. The kids loved the community pool and playground. We loved the upstairs sitting porch. Juan was a great host. Thank you for having us!

The villa is beautiful and comfortable for family and friends. Everything was excellent to make you feel at home. Juan took good care of us and provided detailed instructions. We were only uncomfortable with a few details: 1) As it is a beach villa with a private pool, we expected to be able to use the pool, but it was not clean enough to use; 2) The BBQ had no gas, and there was no gas at nearby stores or gas stations; 3) The private BBQ area has a PTZ camera with a 360-degree motion sensor directed toward the indoor and outdoor areas, which made us quite uncomfortable; 4) The residential complex has many rules, and on Day 1, security and management reprimanded us for using the beach cart at a “high speed” and for having a pet in the common pool area, which made us feel unwelcome at the complex; 5) A neighbor also made a comment about our pet in the beach area. Overall, the villa is quite good; we just need to address the issues noted for a better experience.

We would like to respond point by point with complete transparency: 1) Pools: We apologize for the confusion. The “private pool” tag had been activated on the platform by mistake—it has now been corrected. The project features an adult pool and a children's pool, and we hope you enjoyed them during your stay. Our private pool is currently in the finishing stages, so we are not advertising it or including photos at this time. 2) BBQ without gas: We are sorry that this affected your stay. We have a support team that can deliver gas directly to the villa at no extra charge—we just needed you to let us know, like you did with the cars. 3) Cameras: For the property's security, cameras are located only in the outside patio. If you had let us know, we would have gladly told you where to turn them off, as this is your responsibility during your stay. 4) Pets and residential complex rules: Pet restrictions apply only in the pool social area – in all other areas, pets are fully welcome. In fact, the project features a beautiful lakeside pet park, clearly marked for your convenience. As for the beach area, we ourselves have three dogs and have never had any issues – on the contrary, there are always happy pets enjoying that area. We will aim to communicate these distinctions more clearly from the start. Finally, we would like to mention that our cleaning team reported and charged for cleaning one of the beds in the bedroom facing the parking lots, which had what appeared to be vomit on it—we don't know if it was the pet or something else, but that is why we gave a 4-star rating for cleanliness. - We are always available during your stay to resolve any issues—many of these situations are easily handled by simply letting us know. Juan was an excellent host, timely and very responsive replies to all our enquiries during our 5 week stay. There were a few items advertised in the posting such as a washer/dryer and private swimming pool that were not available however Juan offered a private service for laundry and a new washer and dryer were delivered before our departure. The cooling pool was under construction during our stay and Juan offered some financial compensation for this inconvenience. Access to the beach and ocean was only steps from the property where we spent most of our time swimming and walking. Overall our experience was very positive, with a comfortable accommodation and a great location in Coronado. Panama does pose some challenges to travelers expecting the same kind of amenities and public services as other North American countries such as consistent water supply, however that is all part of experiencing life in other countries. This was a positive experience and will likely revisit Panama.

Juan’s place is an excellent location, steps to the beach and the pool. It’s very spacious and can sleep many people comfortably. The upper balcony has a wonderful view of the ocean and comfortable seating. We really enjoyed our stay and the only issue we had was the strongly perfumed sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels.

Juan’s place is amazing, very clean and organized. It’s very close to the condominium pool and super easy access to the beach. Nothing to worry about. Neighbors are very friendly and quiet, perfect if you are looking to spend some qualitative time with family and friends as we did. Super recommended

Juan's beach house was a relaxing and very pleasant place, 100% recommended. My family and I enjoyed it a lot. We rested and disconnected from the city. We liked it a lot and we will surely return!
