Yeiner

This is a great place to stay, especially for the price. It is exactly as it looks in photos. Right outside your deck you see all sorts of birds, even a couple macaws. The hosts were very responsive and helpful in suggesting restaurants and beaches to visit.

We had an amazing stay at Yeiner's place. He was so warm and welcoming, picking us up and dropping us off at the boat and couldn't do enough for us. The cabina was perfect and far bigger than it looked in the photos. We would have loved to have stayed longer but unfortunately there was a booking after us. We definitely recommend Tico Gringo cabins and would stay again if we come back to Drake's Bay.

Yeimer is very welcoming. He came to pick me up and drove me back to the boat. The upstairs house with a balcony allows you to see lots of birds. It's quiet and bright. I would this property.

We felt very comfortable and had everything we needed. We booked the tour of Corcovado Park and the boat from Sierpe in advance through Yeiner. From the balcony, we could see macaws, toucans, and lots of other animals. :) The property is located about 15 minutes uphill from Drake Beach. On the way there, you will pass cafes, restaurants, and small supermarkets. However, Yeiner drove us in his beach buggy upon arrival and departure :) We think it’s great—highly recommended!!!

The accommodation is basic but has everything you need for your stay. From the location you can walk to the beaches and the hosts were very friendly.

Yeiner and Sofia are truly exceptional hosts. Our stay in Drake was definitely the highlight of our Costa Rica trip. Yeiner picked us up at the boat and drove us to your accommodation, booked our tour to Corcovado National Park for us (and drove us to the dock before 6 AM) and he and Sofia gave us great tips for the area. The cottage is great - super clean, well equipped and the air conditioning in the bedroom worked great and gave us cool and quiet nights. From the balcony you can look beautifully into the countryside and more than once we were able to observe Aras. We would definitely come back!

Yeiner and Sonia welcomed us in an exemplary way. They helped us book the activities we wanted to do and provide all the information we needed to make our stay go smoothly. The listing and location was as described. We were very good there. I would highly recommend it.

Very friendly and welcoming host They waited for us to give us a tour of the accommodation upon arrival and helped us with our luggage. We were able to book snorkeling at Isla del Caño through them. Everything was perfect, thank you again.

Ticogringo is a comfortable home just outside of dusty Drake (a five minute walk to the center and about 10 min. to the beach). Gringo helped us out with everything, and the cabaña was comfy and quiet. Would highly recommend.

Yeneir and Sonia were awesome hosts; very friendly, and stopping by from time to time to see we were ok. The place has our highest recommendation. It was spotless and Sonia cleaned every other day! Yeneir was right on top of our needs with punctual rides to the beach for departure, and recommendations, and extremely friendly. The well appointed kitchen and cold air conditioning was great, as was the ability to hear and see lots of birds from the deck. Next time in Drake Bay, though, we will look for a place with a view of the water, and less of a hot hike back up the hill.

Didn't want to leave Yeiner and Sonia's lodging! They were extremely accommodating and even helped me book taxis to get to the airport and wherever else I needed. The property is beautiful and you can see so much wildlife right from the balcony. Air conditioning worked great and was able to sleep peacefully each night I was there. Had no problem walking there from town or the beach. Thanks again for having me!

Well into Drake Bay, the place is a perfect tipoff point for exploring. The host is kind enough to pick you up from your boat and helps with every tour you need. The place is serene with lush surroundings, perfect for an afternoon beer on the balcony, recommended for everyone

Perfect place to stay, gorgeous garden, helpful hosts. We appreciated their reaching out and arranging transportation. Cold water and coffee was a treat!
