A very nice place, very well kept.

Very good experience. Janina communicated with me and sent us very clearly all the directions of the house and the information for check-in, which very kindly allowed us to do a little before the hour. The place is spacious and comfortable. Has kitchen implements for preparing food, good internet and garbage to separate recycling 💚 The property is easy to access and is very close to the main street, but at the same time it is very private and quiet. Everything went very well.

Nice place. Responsive host. Beach, restaurants, and grocery stores within walking distance. Plenty of wildlife: agoutis, green poison dart frogs, and howler monkeys. Great cell coverage if the Internet goes out.

Janina was a great host, the place is in a great location a short walk to the beach and a few restaurants. We saw so many beautiful animals like sloths, monkeys, a family of agouti; go through, which adds to the experience. :) I would recommend her place

Janina’s place was great! It is in such a great location across from the beach and a short 5 minutes Tuk Tuk ride into town. It was a little slice of tropical heaven. We loved being able to be outside on our patio and listen to the rain. We were working at the Internet was great. There are two houses the downstairs floor of the main house and a smaller house with everything you need in the back. The common space is outside and very nice. You have every you need and can see many animals. Janina and hosts were so great and helped us with anything we needed. Would recommend and would stay again.

This is a very nice location and has all that you need. We were six people and used all three bedrooms at Casa Manatí. Two bedrooms were in one structure and shared a basic bathroom. The main kitchenette and living/dining area was there as well. In the other structure, the casita, we had a third bedroom with its own kitchen and basic bath. Both kitchenettes were well-equipped. We were able to cook enough for ourselves, and it was fine. The property is lovely and surrounded by beautiful flowers, fruit trees, and on the first morning we had a toucan singing us awake. The laundry area was very useful to have, we did some handwashing, and it saved us a lot, to be able to hang things to dry. From the place to the beach is a very short walk. We spend some time eating and swimming at the Noa Beach Club right across the main road and to the left a bit. The food there was very good. This location is nice because it is close to Punta Uva and Manzanillo as well as the town of Puerto Viejo. We made friends with a tuk tuk driver and he was basically at our disposal any time we called throughout our whole trip. We also had to seek out medical care and got a reference for a great local doctor from one of the Farmacia Caribe in Puerto Viejo. The same doctor helped us with our covid testing questions as well, as we needed to get tested before leaving to come back to the US. Overall, we had a great experience, including the airbnb, the great food, the lovely people and culture, and not to say the least, the beautiful rainforest which we expeienced through white water rafting and ziplining and rappeling. Awesome experience. Pura vida!

The place is cute and cozy. The hosts were very attentive from the start of the trip. The internet connection needs to be improved because it's not good.

Janina could not have been a better host to us and our family. She was so attentive prior to our arrival, and then made our journey so much easier with details and support as we navigated a new country with three boys. The home was beautiful- open and welcoming with everything we needed. It was paradise with a hostess who thought of everything. We will be returning. Thank you so much Janina!

You can find a super large, well-kept property. Both houses have all the comforts to enjoy as a family in the shared areas. Very good communication, the house is clean and details that make a difference. Thank you both :)

Very nice place! Safe and with space to share!

Janina’s home was absolutely perfect for our group of 5! My friends could not stop raving about the beautiful open air living space. We spent a lot of mornings and evenings relaxing in the open living area. Location is absolutely everything with this airbnb. Just a 15-20 min bike ride to Puerto Viejo in one direction or Punta Uva in the other. And the bike rental place is right in front, $7 for 24 hours! There is an amazing animal rescue center just 3 blocks away. Our group could not have been happier with the prime location of this airbnb, not to mention beautiful Cocles beach right across the street. The property is also gated and felt extremely safe. Janina was just always a text away to help us with anything. Highly recommend! You will not regret it.

Wonderful home in a wonderful location. Very close to beaches on all sides. You have Cocles right there, and Punta Uva (our favorite) a 5 min drive away. Close to best super market in the area, so very convenient location. House is very secure and very well maintained. It has lush tropical gardens surrounding it in the yard, and is perfect for families or small groups. We really enjoyed our stay here and the hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the entire stay. We really needed a baby crib for our infant - and they went out of their way to make sure that we had one upon arrival, which we really really appreciate. Highly recommend this spot to anyone travelling to the area - Pura Vida!

Janina’s place is situated away from the hustle and bustle of life, which is what we wanted. We could hear the waves roll in as we fell asleep. Rental bikes are a short distance away which made it easy to get to a variety of beaches and into town. The hospitality was above and beyond! We had a terrific stay.

Excellent place, we loved it, the house is beautiful and the gardens are divine!!! Let's get you back fixed!!
