This house on the beach is absolute paradise! The beach access and views are second to none. The outside space is perfect for multiple families with kids. Doris keeps the place spotless without ever being intrusive. The location is remote but so worth it. It’s a perfect place for a relaxing beach vacation!

Our large family of seven adults and seven children greatly enjoyed our time at Karina's place on Playa San Miguel. The swimming was spectacular, surfing and boogeyboarding enjoyed by all, and beach walks were memorable. The location is definitely remote, which is part of the appeal. Be sure to take Karina's recommendation on using Waze rather than Google Maps for your drive, since you may have some river crossings and rough roads. Fans were adequate in the bedrooms, outdoor kitchen and dining perfect for the location on the beach.

Wow! Excellent house right on the beach that was not crowded. Pool was nice to have when you had enough sun. At the end of the road so quiet even with the windows always open, plenty of wildlife to see. Doris and her cooking is second to none and she also does a great job cleaning. Yard was immaculate and always kept up. The outdoor space was great to talk and play games in the evenings. We could not have asked for a better place Would love to go back and spend more time. I would also say we always had so much going on we could not even tell you if the tv worked!

Perfect place to just relax and feel like you have the beach all to yourself. Best outdoor area imaginable. Absolutely make sure to take Doris up on her offer to cook for you. She is an incredible chef and so very friendly. Housekeeper and landscaper were kind and did a great job. Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay here with two families. Was a wonderful spot to chill, cook, relax, enjoy the beach. Away from most conveniences which was amazing! Cute ceviche spot down the beach a few meters

This house was over our expectations, it is a paradise and best place to enjoy Pura Vida. Doris was amazing and I would recommend to everyone to book her for the dinner and breakfast. We had our best meals in Costa Rica done by her during our stay. The beach is amazing, almost nobody else than us and this is not common in Costa Rica. The kids enjoyed surfing classes from Eddy of the San Miguel Surf School. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy the best that Costa Rica can offer!

Playa San Miguel is one of the most beautiful beaches in our country. Many years ago we were at this beach and returning was a joy. The stay at Villa Pietra Mare met our expectations in all aspects. A spacious,comfortable,oceanfront home that allowed us to meet and enjoy a week together as a family. Karina's recommendation regarding Doris is very timely. A very attentive person who cooks very rich and felt like home. Don Sixto keeps the property impeccable. Villa Pietra Mare will definitely stay our first stay options

Excellent location. Nice and clean house. It’s difficult to locate the home. Quite and peaceful. Beautiful beach.

We were a family of 2 grandparents, 4 parents and 5 grandchildren who all loved the beautiful villa and grounds. It was quite warm weather so lots of early morning walks to investigate tide pools and beach runs. The pool was most comforting after sessions of surfing and boogie boarding. Beds were all comfortable. Doris provided excellent typical CR meals, Sixto kept the grounds and pool in great condition, supplied us with fresh coconuts from the yard. Milagro kept the bed and bath rooms clean and tidy. All in all a wonderful experience enjoyed by everyone in our group.
