Clean, quiet place at the end of the busy center of the village. Close to a great coffee/breakfast spot. Quick walk to markets and restaurants on beach. Would suggest renting a car to access Hopkins from Belize City or rent a golf cart to get to the resorts or marinas. Only ‘complaint’ was we had to wait overnight for laundry and had to wait on some responses from onsite manager. I would definitely stay here again. Beds were cool and comfy and kitchen clean and well stocked with supplies.

We would definitely consider staying here again if visiting Hopkins. Really no complaints. We enjoyed using the bikes to get around Hopkins!

The bath towel definitely need to be replaced. It was a good central location for the activities we wanted to do. Junior, the manager was very helpful

Firstly there are no specific addresses in this part of Belize, yet everything is exactly where you would expect. This was a concern at first, we messaged Tyler and Val while on our way. Their response was clear and helpful, even recommended a store for us to stop at along the way. Junior was awesome. Couldn't be more helpful, considerate and clear. He had great suggestions on where to go. The location was exactly what we wanted - stones throw from the sea, on the main road so easy to access everything, free bikes to use during the day or night if you'd rather cycle than walk around. It was our first stop in Belize so the first night felt quite loud but you soon love that about Belize. Sounds of nature, plus this place is on a main road - still a quiet part of Belize so it's not constant - but motorbikes can be quite loud at night. (won't be much different anywhere else in such a good location though). Hopkins is so charming. Loved our stay and wish we had longer!

Our family stayed three nights and had a wonderful time. Very easily accessible to everything you could need and want. We cooked in the kitchen and hung out on the porch and in the hammocks near the main house. You can walk right across the street to the beach. Junior, the onsite manager, was wonderful- as other reviews have noted :) Yes, the mattresses are quite firm- but not uncomfortable. This is common in Belize!

Great spot with very nice vibe and very friendly management staff. You have access to a small beach you just cross the road in front of the place to access. Had a very local charm to it.

There is a speed bump almost directly in front of the house, the noise level of vehicles drowns out the TV. The two queen beds are like sleeping on the floor and the pillows are the same. Unless you are a backpacker that’s been sleeping outside you will find it difficult to rest. If you think you need something for your stay (BRING IT) there is absolutely nothing there except bare essentials. Don’t forget anything it’s not there waiting for you. Full disclosure we stayed in a remote AirBNB in Caye Caulker for four days before moving to this location and it had really good beds and no noise whatsoever. But I will never rent this place again.

Hopkins was a great town to stay in as a base for many beach and jungle activities. We enjoyed local food for dinners. Our spot worked well for four of us. It was private and close to the beach.
