The place was just as advertised! Great beds and the Air conditioner worked amazing after a long day of exploring La Fortuna. Close to really awesome restaurants.
The house was available and clean on the outside; however, on the inside it was dirty and smelled weird. The costs of the activities were not respected at the time of payment (they increased) and they did not provide support when it was reported that the television control did not work.

En cuanto al olor, la casa está construida en su mayoría de madera natural, lo cual puede generar un aroma particular al que algunas personas no están acostumbradas. Sobre los costos de las actividades, queremos aclarar que los precios iniciales siempre se brindan como referencia. El monto final varía según los extras seleccionados, como actividades con almuerzo incluido, y también puede cambiar según la temporada. Esta información fue explicada previamente para evitar confusiones. Respecto al control del televisor, verificamos que contaba con baterías nuevas. Lamentablemente, este tipo de fallos técnicos ocasionales pueden ocurrir y no siempre están bajo nuestro control inmediato. Agradecemos mucho sus comentarios, ya que nos ayudan a seguir mejorando la experiencia de nuestros huéspedes. Le deseamos lo mejor en sus futuros viajes.
Thank you for a wonderful stay in La Fortuna! The location was a perfect home base for exploring the rainforest. Rodolfo could not have been more helpful - he is truly stands out from many others in his helpfulness and friendliness. He arranged for all of our tours, rental car, and even offered restaurant recommendations. Beds are really hard and water isn't super hot, but wasn't expecting or looking for a luxury hotel for jungle adventures.
Top accommodation. Close to the city (6 min by car) but still feels remote. The neighbor stopped by to pick us some coconuts. A little piece of paradise. We found the beds a bit hard and the pillows too thin. I definitely recommend this stay.
Great spot near La Fortuna. Private with very nice outdoor space including the pool. Double check the address with the owner. When we booked, it was in a different part of town then what showed on AirBnB.com, but this may have been worked out by the time you read this. Regardless, we had a fine stay with two adults and two kids. Between 10 - 45 minutes from all the adventure spots in the area and enough out of town to have peace and quiet.
We loved our stay here. Pool was pristine and cool (unheated). We would for sure book again. Each bedroom has its own AC. The two hammocks was a great touch. The yard was private and there was virtually little to no road noise—just wonderful loud birds which is what we want in Costa Rica!
Excellent place, location, beautiful house. And super nice to travel with the family, the children enjoyed it very much.
This house is about 3 minutes drive from the center of La Fortuna, which makes it very quiet. It's about a 15 minute walk if you don't have a car. The house has all the basics - comfortable beds, AC in each room, TV, bathroom / showers. The walls are super thin, so there is not a whole lot of privacy. We visited in December, so the weather was rainy and we did not use the pool at all.
A great house just outside La Fortuna. The pool was brilliant for kids and the birds and flowers in the garden just womderful. The AC made sure we kept cool. Great to have a washing machine. The kitchen was functional with basic equipment . Rodolfo was brilliantly helpful in arranging activities and we did fantastic zip lining and amazing white water rafting. A perfect base to explore La Fortuna and Arenal
Great place to stay, very safe. the only one issue Airbnb map location is not accurate. When you search by casa name on google maps it gives you more accurate location. You will need a car to get around. House itself is very nice, clean, enough room for group 6-8 people. Kitchen well equipped. Swimming pool is a good feature.
This location was perfect as it was close to town and all the excursions. Rodolfo was very quick to respond with any questions or assistance needed. My family really enjoyed staying here. Now it is hot and humid but the A/Cs in the bedrooms helped stay nice and cool. I would really recommend this spot.
We were a family of 6 that stayed at this location, which is a little away from the main area and so a rental car is recommended. It was comfortable with hot water in both the inside and the second outside bathrooms. Fast Wifi, cold AC and fan. Rodolfo was very responsive and also owns a rental car agency which came in handy when our original 6-passenger SUV from SJO broke down he was able to rent his 6-passenger SUV to us so that we could tour La Fortuna and then drive it to San Jose for our flight back home. We enjoyed our stay
