Very good location, in a very beautiful setting , in the middle of the trees , next to the river, a quiet and peaceful place for those who love nature, Sandra prepared a perfect lunch for us, however the apartment deserves a real refresh . Indeed, the apartment is very old, the bathroom also to be refreshed.

Alexander is a great host & the location is awesome. Nice path down to a private beach of rio Celeste, the blue color is stunning. Breakfast was great with a plate of fresh fruit & coffee included. The room is very basic but had all necessary amenities. No AC but comes with a small plug in fan.

Alexander and his son were super nice and reactive. The place is beautifully located in the midst of the Tenorio National Park, which allowed us to hear a lot of animal sounds while swimming in their private access into Rio Celeste - which was very much appreciated as you cannot do it while hiking there. We only wish we could have had some hot water and closed the doors better to prevent bugs from coming in the room.

This was our favorite location out of the 8 places we stayed. It’s exactly what I want in an AirBnb. It’s not the Hilton, it’s a magical get away where you can live amongst the locals and have your very own private blue river pool. Absolutely recommend for anyone. Beautiful animals, bugs, flowers, and birds everywhere.

The hosts were very friendly, available, and attentive to their hosts, especially the young man is called Emanuel. I love the nature of the mountains and seeing the animals like the varieties of birds and howler monkeys on the trees. The room was clean and the location of the airbnb is very close to Tenorio National Park.

We loved the service, private access to the river, and the location near the entrance to the national park. The room is simple but comfortable and quite spacious!

Swimming in the Rio Celeste was amazing, breakfast was fantastic. It is important to have a correct expectation of the room. We had to put a towel under the door to keep large ants from marching in. If you don’t have a 4x4 vehicle you will need to make a short walk down to the rooms, but that was not an issue for us. It is a beautiful location in the mountains and conveniently located. Alexander is a very good host and very kind.

Wow, perfect location for visiting Rio Celeste. Guests enjoy a private access to the beautiful blue river where you can relax. The entrance to the park is just a few minutes away. We stayed in the dome and it was very cool, we had no idea what to expect. Alexander is very nice, breakfast was delicious. There is no Refridgerator but that would be my only complaint. If your headed to Rio Celeste, this is the place!!! We hope to come back some day

Clean and spacious room but basic comfort. Very attentive and helpful host. The pluses: * being able to swim in the Rio Celest. Even though not at the foot of the room as we imagined but at the end of a path of several steps. * Located 1 km from Tenorio Park (Rio Celest hike) * Breakfast served from 7 am to 8:30 am: coffee fruit, chocolate, eggs, toast, rice and black beans. Really nice. The least: * Do not rely on rentals on Airbnb. Go towards "Parque Nationale Vocalno Tenorio". It's at PUIRI. 1 km to the entrance to the park. We really had trouble finding it.

Deplorable, just about everything, except for breakfast. House is about to fall apart, mouldy stinch, taped electric installations, complete absence of hot water. Just sad really.

This is such a magical place. Everything from the drive to get there, the family that runs it and the property itself is just amazing. This place is made for people who look for the best alternatives to big hotels and resorts. This is for people looking for something real and adventurous. The character and charm you'll experience here is far greater than any 5 star location that treats you like a number. Thanks for taking such good care of us Alexander!
