It was 100% worth it. The place is impeccable and has everything you need to feel at home. We loved it.

great place that matched everything in description and pictures. we really enjoyed our stay. the place was great and the host was super helpful. we liked where it was and could drive to numerous nearby beaches and places to eat. the place is a bit outside of brasalito beach. we had a car and could drive there in a minute or two. but I don't think it is the ideal spot without a car.

the house was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed including washer and dryer. MJ was very responsive and courteous. We felt like home and would greatly recommend this host.

We had a great four night stay. Minor issue with a shower door but it was handled promptly and effectively. Mj was great to deal with and I would recommend her place to all travellers and families. It’s was good fit for our group of four adults and two children.

You truly feel at home, with everything you need close at hand. It’s a very safe and quiet place, offering privacy and surrounded by nature. we had a great time. MJ is super attentive and approachable, very responsive to questions. We will definitely stay at this place again. Highly recommended.

Mj was so great at quick replies and followed up with us pleasantly. Our teenage granddaughters loved the pool and we all had enough space. Nice place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😄

This was one of our favorite international trip experiences ever!! The house size was good for our 7 guests. The Casa Sencilla was quiet, clean, well located and the host was incredibly responsive. The location is an estimated 3 min walk from a great coffee shop/deli, 8 min walk to two great restaurants and a 13 min walk to the Brasalito beach and more restaurants. It is nicely located for a bit of a remote feel, but close enough to everything for adventure. We did 4 host recommended excursions and our own exploration and loved it all. We checked out tide pools, several beaches, catamaran trip, canyoning/ watefall tour, ATV sunset tour with dinner, hot springs and Tamarindo day trip for shopping and food! Thank you so much MJ for all the info and quick responses to any questions. We will see you again for sure!

We had an amazing 5-star stay at MJ’s place! The backyard was the highlight — we basically lived outside enjoying the pool and jacuzzi. Waking up to howler monkeys and spotting them in the trees made our stay feel extra special. The home is in a safe, gated area and was perfect for our family. The kids loved the bunk beds, toys, and books, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There are great restaurants nearby and it’s close to beautiful Brasilito Beach. MJ was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. One note for families with toddlers: the roads and sidewalks aren’t stroller-friendly, so we’d recommend bringing a carrier. We’d absolutely stay again — highly recommend!

We visited Mj's simple house and everything was wonderful! It is a house with all the amenities, very well equipped, clean and tidy as seen in the photos. Mj also responds very quickly and is very attentive. The truth is, it's a cozy place ideal for visiting many beaches in the area and at the same time having a quiet atmosphere. Don't hesitate to visit them!!
