This place is better than the pictures. The local manager Jacquie is super friendly and helpful, she made the experience amazing. The main living room is bigger than expected. The pool area is great! There's an outdoor shower and a bathroom right by the pool. There is a thick wall of palm trees and plants separating you from the neighbors. There's AC in every room - the living room can get sliiiiightly warm during a heat wave, but the bedrooms are ice cold. There's no dishwasher in the kitchen so be careful if you're staying a long time. The neighbors were super quiet. You're a two block bicycle ride from the commercial area of Samara. This house is awesome.

Great place to stay, even bigger than you can imagine from looking at the pictures. The kids loved the pool, which was shaded in the afternoon. The hosts were proactive, and the beds were very comfortable.

We loved our stay! Perfect location close to town, but far enough away that it was nice and quiet. The bikes they provided may getting into town so easy and enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Casa Mariposa! Jacquie was so helpful and a wonderful communicator both before and during our trip. She even stopped by to say hello after we arrived and settled in. Our family of four, plus my sister and niece really enjoyed the house, pool and local recommendations. We rented a golf cart, so getting around was easy, but the house was also walkable to town, the beach, etc. We used a bike or two occasionally, so those were nice to have as well! We’d stay again without hesitation and had the best time in Samara! Thanks Jacquie and team!

It exceeded our expectations, more spacious than in the photos and beautiful. We were with our pets and the space was very comfortable for being with them. We also had privacy, and the area is quiet and pleasant. I would recommend it 100%. The service was excellent, and the property really has many amenities. The kitchen has everything you might need, as do the cleaning and the bathrooms.

This stay was amazing! First time in Costa Rica and we had the best time. Walkable to town, very spacious & our host was great!

Great spot with your own little oasis by the pool! Easy walk to town and the main samara beach . . . would stay there again, no problem!

Our family loved our time in Samara and wish we stayed longer. This home had it all and we really enjoyed our stay. Jacquie was excellent at communicating---providing recommendations and staying in touch so we had what we needed for a successful check-in and stay. The property was exactly what we needed as a young family. We especially loved the private pool, the access to rent the golf cart, and the nearby MONKEYS. We would definitely come back to Samara and stay here again.

We loved our stay at Casa Mariposa. Villa was clean and spacious. Air conditioning everywhere! The pool was clean and refreshing. There was shade and fans, which makes the hot season more comfortable if you want to be outside. Jacquie was available to answer our questions and meet our needs. Everything went smoothly and easily because the instructions were clear and appropriate. The restaurants and the beach were within walking distance of the villa, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The city is full of small restaurants, and people are friendly! It was amazing! We highly recommend the villa and the city of Samara! A perfect trip!
