4BR Villa in San Salvador

Carmen

Excellent, 2 weeks ago

The place is very nice, the pool is beautiful and large, with an area for children and one for adults. The rooms are very nice, the kitchen is well equipped, and the beach is right across the street. A beautiful place, excellent for relaxing and enjoying with family. We went to cook on site. My family and I loved the place. I definitely recommend it and I will come back to this place. Very comfortable beds too.

This place was really nice and private away from all the tourist areas. My friends and family had a great time swimming in the big pool all day. Lots of lounging areas and kitchen. The Host was really friendly and was honest about the location and where to go to shop as it is a bit far from the main roadway. 10/10 if you a looking for a more private and away from all the traffic getaway. The House keeper was also very kind and was able to get us firewood to get our grill going, and got some coconuts for us to enjoy.

This is our little piece of heaven in El Salvador! We’ve come here for the past three years. It is a beautiful place if you’re looking for privacy and quiet with beautiful sunsets. We’ve enjoyed this place every time we’ve gone and will miss it when we leave El Salvador.

The house is an oceanfront paradise! Spacious and comfortable rooms. The place is perfect to share with family. The pool is large and has an ocean view. Bring everything you need for your stay, as there is no store nearby (there is a small store about 15 minutes away). You have to drive along a dirt road for about 20 minutes, but once you get to the house, it will be worth it! Highly recommended!

The pool has debris that scratched up our feet. It’s more of an off grid or camping style. Very remote. Long gravel road in. Arrived to a locked gate. No instructions on that but someone from a random house walked out and unblocked it. The doors aren’t completely sealed so bugs will get in. We were excessively woken up by dogs barking until 230am. Around 3am the roosters started to crow. If you’re a light sleeper this place isn’t for you. If you like remote, camp style (no hot water) this place is for you.

Host Response

Hi Chalee, I’m really sorry to hear that your stay didn’t feel as cozy and peaceful as other guests have experienced. We do our best to describe the space clearly so expectations match the experience, and I’m sorry it didn’t meet yours. Just to clarify, we don’t have any animals on the property, and unfortunately we’re not able to control neighbors or anything happening outside of our space. We appreciate your feedback and will keep working to improve the experience for future guests.

The home is as pictured, an authentic rustic oceanfront paradise. The grounds are truly lovely with plenty of places to gather and relax. The beds were comfortable and clean. It’s a “glamping” environment, so if that’s ok, you will love it. Our host Elena was always responsive. The awesome caretaker Carlos even came with us to buy fishing gear and his family were always helpful too. It’s a 6 mile dirt road to the place, but don’t let that deter you, you’ll love the privacy and quiet and breathtaking ocean views.
