We stayed at Johnnys place a second time for some dental work my son was having. They were very accommodating and we enjoyed the home very much. It’s very spacious and well appointed. Walking distance to the dentist which was great and many good restaurants nearby. We were able to drive to several national parks and enjoyed the hiking. Thank you to Johnny and his brother Jose for a wonderful visit!

Johnny was very responsive in Airbnb and his brother Jose greeted us to show us everything in the home. Jose lives next door and was extremely friendly and helpful especially when we were much later arriving than we expected due to flight delays and traffic. The home is very spacious and nicely appointed in an old colonial style but with a modern kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is very well stocked, beds are comfortable and the shower was great. We had a little trouble with the city water being turned off but that was no fault of the owner and Jose warned us about it the water and it was back on for a nighttime shower. There is no air conditioning in the home but there are large fans in every room so we were comfortable. The home is in the center of town so convenient to great restaurants and services but rather noisy. I used earplugs which helped and it was quiet between about 11pm and 5 am so pretty typical for a city dwelling.

The house is big an beautiful, it is no privacy for the washrooms as they have open windows on all doors. even bedroom doors have windows with no glass, but there were some thin curtains on but people can still look inside bedrooms and washrooms. It is located in the middle of Liberia so there are many things close by We had issues with leaking washer and they booked the technician on Christmas eve that interrupted with our celebration. The washer was never fixed we had issues for our entire stay even though they had people in twice to try to fix it. This created a lot of extra work for us as we had to remove all the water when we used it and no other options to clean clothes was presented to us. Another concern we had is that the owners brother entered the house on several occasions without notifying us and with no reason. He had also turned off lights and an air conditioner we had with us when he entered the house. As we were traveling with kids we felt this very unsafe.

La situación de la lavadora fué circunstancial y ha sido resuelta, los eventos no determinan ni modifican una celebración. La casa tiene un modelo de ventilación local donde el factor de las puertas es completarlo a las ventanas y se apoya con ventiladores mecánicos en cada aposento. Siempre se les recuerda a los huéspedes apagar luces y ventiladores mientras no estén en la casa. Se introdujeron unidades externas de aire acondicionado SIN AUTORIZACIÓN y además se dejaron activadas durante todo el tiempo, esto genera un alto impacto ecológico y por supuesto un recibo de consumo eléctrico que está fuera de la oferta económica de nuestra casa. Se estableció autorización previa de ingreso para dar mantenimiento cada dos o tres días los jardines y el apagar las luces y AC fué porque no había nadie en la casa.

We stayed at Johnny's house for several weeks. Very nice, cozy and at the same time very spacious, with an excellent location near downtown Liberia. Everything you need. Great communication and excellent service/support from his brother. Recommended!

Jose and Jimmy were very kind and easy to reach. They responded quickly to our requests and were very cooperative in making a few corrections we raised with them. The place was very nice, clean and spacious. All in all a good place to stay.

Airbnb is exactly as it appears in the photos. It is a very spacious house with a lot of space, with a great location and has everything to make life in the house Both Johnny and his brother were very attentive to everything

The best thing is the proximity to places like beaches, rivers and parks, all 1 hour on average, the backyard is the best part of the house, a place to share as a family. The bad thing is that at night many motorcycles and trucks pass, in addition to the cats that at night walk around the roof. For improvement, the mattresses , the second bathroom, and the internet. In general if what you are looking for is a central place to get up early and visit beaches and just get to sleep as it was in our case I give it a 7 of 10.

Huge, comfortable house with a lovely backyard patio & garden area. Had not noticed it has no AC, but found that each room had a nice strong fan, plus ceiling fan in large living room. Great space at an excellent price!
