This is a very nice 2 story penthouse with lots of balconies and good air conditioning. The host was great and friendly, however most of the staff at the lobby itself weren’t all that friendly. Not a huge deal, but we all noticed it. Also, the restaurant in the lobby has some of the best food we’ve had during our whole 2 week stay in Costa Rica

Alexandra and the staff are exemplary. It's the manager above them that runs the hotel who is the problem. The place is designed for local families and older tourists. It was listed as a condo, but to my surprise, it was a hotel with many rules. I would've never booked the place if I knew it was a hotel, which needs to be clearly stated on the Airbnb site. When you go, they will give you more rules for your stay, but if you want to leave, they won't give you your money back and still complain every day about broken rules. Even now, with my deposit, after we left the place in immaculate shape, he is waiting to see my review to see if I should get my deposit back—additionally, notes to know before you stay here. It's not a condo. It's a hotel, but they will only clean your room once you leave. I had to bring room service to the front desk because it was my place for days. Last, if you get stuck here and feel unsafe, Airbnb will not help you. They sent some messages but no real action.

AirBNB was a two story penthouse in a hotel. They let us check in early. Master suite was huge and beautiful. Exactly as the pictures show. They let us use the pool downstairs after we checked out, and stored our bags so we could go walk around. If I ever go back to Jaco with 8 people, I would get this place again 100%. The hotel did place a $250 hold for incidentals, separately. Breakfast not included. Easy walk to all the bars and beach. Perfect location. Beautiful views of mountains from the hotel.
