Excellent communication beautiful place to visit

This place is absolutely stunning — unbelievably beautiful. The house is very comfortable, and you can really feel that everything, both inside and around the property, was made with love. The pool is beautiful. We had a nice chat with the host — he is a very friendly and welcoming person, even treated us to bananas. It’s a truly fantastic place. I would love to come back here again and again, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Wow! What an incredibly beautiful place to stay. We absolutely loved the peaceful energy of the place, with incredible views and relaxing pool time. Matt and Megan were so communicative and helpful. We loved how accessible it was to the beach and we even had whole days where we never left the property because it was so restorative and healing to be there in nature and cook in the kitchen. Grateful that people like Matt and Megan have put so much love into creating a space like this.

Outstanding! Matt’s villa exceeded my expectations. Peaceful, surrounded by nature, and great views. I based there and moved to Uvita, Manuel Antonio and other beach towns around. Would def recommend it.

Really a little gem! Everything was in good condition and exactly as described. Nice hosts: helpful and accommodating. We were allowed to hang out by the pool after check-out. All in all a lovely experience and the place we highly recommend! If there was anything to point a finger at, it would be the road there, but it's clearly stated in the listing. More pressure on the shower, but it's really small things. We are very satisfied. Thanks for the loan of Casa Motmot. 🦜

Matt and Megan are great hosts, always helpful and making sure everything is fine. We appreciated the welcome folder a lot: It's an A4 Folder full of information, both of the house/property and activities in the surrounding. We travelled as a family with 2 young kids, and felt the house is a bit small, and an inside dining table would be nice because for dinner you need either bugspray (dining table outside) or stay at the couch table inside. The road through the property is a quite nasty and steep jungle roads. But those aspects are stated clearly in the listing, so we knew in advance and I think that's fair so you can decide whether this works for you or not. The beds are really comfortable One thing not in the listing, but a truly great feature are the "Hummingbird bushes" all around the house. One day I actually woke up and saw a hummingbird right outside the bedroom window (what a way to start the day), and they are frequent visitors on the bushes next to the terrace.

The beauty of nature at Matt's is magnificent! Perfect for a peaceful family stay! The view from the gym space is amazing and the diversity of plants is wow! Thanks Matt and Megan you are amazing hosts!

Matt’s place is wonderful. The garden and surrounding area is just so beautiful to walk around and enjoy the view and animals. We had the pool to ourselves and the kids loved it. Matt and Megan both were super friendly and helpful and came with good tips of what to do. We had an awesome time and would have loved to stay longer!

Thank you for this wonderful time We slept wonderfully and Matt and Megan welcomed us warmly and helpfully in their little paradise. From the decor to the pool, everything was clean, practical and nicely decorated! Our personal highlight was the fantastic yoga room and the garden! Thank you so much, maybe we'll come back one day!

Matt and Megan were awesome hosts. The place is tucked away in nature and very peaceful. They've got great workout gear, and Megan gave us an amazing yoga class. It was so nice to spend time with family and unwind away from the city.

Anytime again, a very nice, warm and very nice place to stay. Here you can be one with nature. The approach to the house is a small challenge but with four-wheel drive it is easily manageable. Should I go on vacation to Costa Rica again, then definitely here. For me, the yoga room including the view was a dream.

Great place as advertised. The pool and yoga space were highlights. It is far enough from main road to be truly quiet and relaxing. Steep driveway - take it slow in 4x4 low!

The property is beautiful with its well-maintained gardens and views of the mountains. Our villa was new, well decorated and the amenities are of quality. Matt was very welcoming and offered us excellent service. In short, it's a great place to stay and admire nature.

Matt and Megan were caring, responsive, warm hosts in a stunning place, which best suits people looking to slow down, relax and cool off, a bit further from the big crowds, but still close to some of the best places we've been to in CR - Playas Dominical, Playa Dominicalito, Uvita and Nauyaca falls (among others). It is the only place in CR where we didn't need AC at all due to cool breezes and high ceilings. The property grounds, all created and taken care of by Matt and Megan, are beautiful and have a super calming effect. Most days, we had a hard time getting out and doing activities, because it was just so easy to stay in, work out with a fantastic view, eat al fresco, cool down in the swimming pool and listen to the nature all around. We had the best time and would come back to this place with no hesitation.
